Pros: I've used this backpack every work day for over 7 years (the date of manufacture on the label is 1-7-17). I've carried computer repair tools, parts, reference books, external drives, cables, and just about anything else that would fit into it. Only now is the nylon on one of the shoulder straps starting to fray.
Cons: Absolutely none.
Other Thoughts: I have no reason to doubt that this backpack won't last another 2, 3, or 4 years. I just hope Targus is still producing this model because I'll by another in a heartbeat.

Well Designed and Very Large

Pros: Many external pockets. Large capacity. Durable and easy to use zippers. Well balanced - even when fully loaded, does not feel heavy on my shoulders. Easily fits Lenovo R400 laptop. Stays upright when laptop is inside.
Cons: Could use some smaller zippered mesh pockets inside main pockets. Cannot remove waist strap.
Other Thoughts: I have been using this bag on my daily commute for a week and don't know how I go along without it. The main compartment has room for the laptop, some sneakers, a change of clothes and lunch. I also carry a bike lock, tire pump and spare tire equipment. With all of these items in the bag, it does not feel heavy on my shoulders. The secondary pocket contains a divider and is deep enough to hold two tect books in addition to the large capacity of the main pocket. It has a key clip in the bottom front pocket. Overall a great backpack.
