4 out of 5 eggsVery nice

Pros: Very spacious, light-weight and utilitarian.

When I was looking for a laptop bag, I kept bouncing back and forth between a case and a backpack. I have to say that I like the bag. It's not as bulky and cumbersome as a backpack can be and can double as a regular briefcase.

I also choose this case because finding a case that fits a 17" laptop turned out to be very difficult. This one works perfectly. Not only can I fit my ASUS G-Series G72Gx-X1 monster (and it's power cord/converter, which is huge), but it leaves me tons of room for files, books and everything else I've thrown at it.

Definitely a good purchase.

Cons: Can be a little bulky. It's obviously not as easy to sling over the shoulder as its smaller cousins, but that's largely due to the fact that it's a 17" laptop bag.

Others have warned of the rubber tabs on the zippers breaking. I haven't had this happen to me yet, but I've only had the bag for about 2 months.

Other Thoughts: This bag is definitely worth the buy and I would definitely recommend it to anyone else looking at buying a larger-laptop bag.

5 out of 5 eggsTargus Laptop Bag

Pros: I've owned several laptop bags over the past 15 years and I must say this is the best one I've owned to date. Normally I would have preferred a leather bag but when I saw this one I had to take a closer look at it. It has a very smart design, great color combination, tons of storage, and is very organized! It even has a pocket for my blackberry and nice added touch! It also has a very comfortable shoulder strap which helps when you laptop weighs 10 lbs, plus all my software and tools. If you're in the market for a great bag that is reasonably inexpensive, get this one, you'll love it.

Cons: No included secretary!

Other Thoughts: Buy it now!

5 out of 5 eggsBig enough for my laptop

Pros: After weeks of searching, I finally found a bag that would fit my Toshiba 18.4" laptop. I didn't realize how hard it was to find a bag for that type of laptop and the toshiba backpack and carrying case were always out of stock. Also, there is plenty of space for other items so this one is a keeper.

Cons: None.

5 out of 5 eggsTargus = Best

Pros: I got the 15" version of this bag a little over 3 years ago with my DV5000 HP. I have since upgraded to a 17" DV7 laptop, and it doesn't quite fit, but this back is amazing enough that it has lasted up to this long with MINOR problems One of the rubber zipper tabs broke, and the mesh on the one side is starting to fray.

Cons: It can get heavy, but the strap comes with a nice padded section for you shoulder so it's barable

Other Thoughts: I LOVE IT! i'm going to buy the 17" back TODAY!

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Travel Bag

Pros: I bought this bag over 3 years ago when I got a traveling job. I use this bag everyday and it has held up well. It holds everything I need to carry with me when travveling, and still fits in the overhead compartment on even the smallest planes. This bag is really perfect for the business traveler.

Cons: After 3 years there needs to be some wear and tear. So far the only issues I have had are the zipper on the back pcket has pulled away from the fabric, which has made it impossible to zip or unzip past that corner, I just made it so that the zippers meet at that corner, and the work around is perfect. Also one of the other zippers has had the rubberized pull tags break. But after 3 years of daily use, I could have expected more trouble than this.

Other Thoughts: Although the bag can be quite heavy when fully loaded, (laptop, external HDD, 12v power inverter, power supplies, work folders, CD/DVD's, mp3 player, mouse, Flash drives, assorted cables, magazines, candy, and even connecting my DS lite bag to one of the strap holders) It is still comfortable enough to carry for extended periods around an airpoort, and through security.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best laptop bag to date...

Pros: The bag is big and roomy and literally has a place for everything. The pouches are well thought out and placed conveniently where you would think to reach for them. The removable pouches are just the right size for cables, and if you carry extra CDs or drives, there's plenty of room for those as well. Durable material, and great for oversized laptops.

Cons: The bag itself is a bit heavy, so if you carry a 19" monitored machine like I am, just be prepared that by the time you load it up, it might be a bit weighty.

Other Thoughts: I'm a full time nursing student, so I carry tons of books on top of my laptop. It holds one of my great 1400 page books, the laptop, pens, pencils, a storage drive, a binder with assignments....EVERYTHING I need for a good study session at the library after class. It's durable (trust me, I havent' torn it with the abuse I'm putting it through), it's tough, and it's straps are comfortable and easy to grab. I truly love this bag!! Thanks to NEWEGG for the 2 day shipping as well:) Fast as always.
