Features

Features
Tri-Linear Ceramic Content:
Like the original Ceramique, Ceramique 2 uses only ceramic fillers so it is neither electrically conductive nor capacitive. The tri-linear composite of aluminum oxide, zinc oxide and boron nitride allows the thinnest possible bond line with modern processors, heatsinks and electronics. Critically-sized particles and new ultra-high shear mixing techniques maximize Ceramique 2's thermal performance and help maintain a stable homogenous suspension. This exclusive combination provides performance exceeding most metal based compounds.

Polysynthetic Suspension Fluid:
A new oil mixture, improved thermal filler properties and increased particle deagglomeration, dispersal and density enhance Ceramique 2's thermal performance and overall stability. The third generation polysynthetic suspension fluid combines advanced synthetic oils to maximize wetting and stability while allowing a higher density of thermally conductive fillers.

Excellent Stability:
Ceramique 2 is engineered to not separate, run, migrate, or bleed.

Electrical Insulator:
Ceramique 2 does not contain any metal or other electrically conductive materials. It is a pure electrical insulator, neither electrically conductive nor capacitive.

Performance:
2 to 10 degrees centigrade lower CPU full load core temperatures than standard thermal compounds or thermal pads when measured with a calibrated thermal diode imbedded in the CPU core.

Innovative Dispenser:
The amount of compound remaining in the 2.7-gram syringe is easy to determine as the rear of the plunger is perfectly flush with the flange when the syringe is empty.

Easy Clean Up:
Ceramique 2 can easily be cleaned from CPUs and heatsinks with ArctiClean, isopropyl alcohol or any of the cleaners listed in the product instructions.

Compliancy:RoHS Compliant.

5 out of 5 eggsGets the Job Done

Pros: Easy to use, didn't have any issues with it sticking to the cap or anything, and had enough to help a friend with his heatsink.

Cons: Very limited amount, but that's the general run of these things.

Other Thoughts: Worked well, easy to use, and got the job done.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks better than regular heat sink goo...

Pros: Works well, but

Cons: a bit pricey.

Other Thoughts: Last time I bought heat sink compound was for my electronics repair shop it was $10 for a 8 ounce can. Not as good as this stuff. But a bit more affordable.

5 out of 5 eggsThis is the good stuff

Pros: The easiest thermal compound to use I've found. It's very effective and it helps me not to make a mess. It isn't electrically conductive. Alcohol with a tissue cleans it up easily. If you've ever fried a board using the real silver stuff, you'll be glad to use this. It isn't nearly as messy and you aren't risking shorting out your board/cpu. It performs just as well as any high end/expensive stuff; look at the OC type tests all over the net.

Cons: I can't think of any.

Other Thoughts: For a spreader I prefer to use a cut-off from an old credit card. I don't use the "pea" drop method. I pre-treat the cpu with the compound and scrape it all off with the credit card piece but don't clean it off with alcohol for this step. Then I put a line of compound onto the heatsink base and spread it as evenly and thinly as possible. Then I assemble. This gets me great results. A little 2.7 size tube gets me 3 installs with this technique. You might like sometthing different that you like. For now, this works well for me.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Product

Pros: Very good thermal paste to ensure contact with CPU/APU and cooling element

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I've tested arctic silver paste over generic pastes provided by different air and water cooling product manufacturers. Benchmark testing proves consistently cooler temps on the CPU/APU as much as 10 degrees C. It's worth the extra $$$.

3 out of 5 eggsCeramic thermal compound

Pros: - Keeps my CPUs cool
- binds tightly
- inexpensive

Cons: - Thicker and pastier than other compounds I've used before
- difficult to remove once applied

Other Thoughts: - be careful removing your heat sink from your CPU with this compound. It binds so tightly that you could damage your CPU if you are not careful.
