Rating: 5/5For me this is the best thermal around.
This review is from: Arctic Silver CMQ2-25G Céramique 2 Tri-Linear Ceramic Thermal Compound - OEM
Pros: The best Pros is that I can't think of any Cons. Been using Ceramique for years. Never needed anything else. Great temps. Ease of use. This is the same price as a 2.5g tube. I think I just got my last tube ever.
Cons: Every year I get older.
Other Thoughts: Without Newegg.com I would only use the internet around 5 mins per month.

Pros: Very good thermal paste, lowered temp on APU, and GPU went from 70c to 63c max soo...
P.s. If you want to be lazy and not spread it out like me, just make an x on the CPU instead of a dot or something. Worked for me and APU went from 30c max on hyper t4 to 15c max. Very large difference, and very impressive since my APU is overclocked to 4.4ghz

Pros: Good instructions online. Need to find out exactly what type of CPU you have. I have not checked temperature if thermal compound is effective, after breakin period.
Cons: Compound does not easily spread. Would be much better if a tad more liquid. Syringe was packaged in a flimsy bubble envelope. The handle of syringe tore a hole on the envelope. Lucky to have no damage to syringe..

Pros: I have used a ton of compounds and this one is the best! Easy application and spreads evenly very easily. Keeps my AMD FX-8320 in the 20's with my Corsair H100i GTX Liquid Cooler.
Cons: Tip of container breaks off easily, first tube was a huge mess. Replacement was great.
This review is from: Arctic Silver CMQ2-25G Céramique 2 Tri-Linear Ceramic Thermal Compound - OEM
Pros: Large amount. I didn't even realize I'd ordered the 25g tube until it came today. Should last me awhile, so, there's that at least.
Ceramic means it's not electrically conductive or capacitive, so it's forgiving of mistakes.
The price is great. When all my parts come in I plan to install it right from the get-go, so I won't really have a before/after temperature comparison, but there's plenty of reviews here already attesting to its ability to drop processor temps.
Cons: Arrived with the tip broken off. The entire syringe had just been tossed in a box with several heavy items, with only a couple deflated strips of air packing thrown in on top. Not going to knock off a star for that, though, since that's not really a product quality issue.
From reading reviews here this seems to be a common issue. Newegg customer service is shipping me a replacement, no hassle at all, so I've got no complaints there. One of the reasons I keep shopping here is because even when I have an experience like this, customer service is right on it, and quickly.
Other Thoughts: It's ceramic, not silicone, so expect to have a little more difficulty spreading it out. Like any thermal paste, just a thin layer will do - but unlike silicone paste it's not going to spread out on its own.

Pros: Plenty of paste for a fair price. Nice syringe applicator.
Cons: Super sticky, messy, and very difficult to spread.
Other Thoughts: If I had known how hard it was to apply a thin, even layer of this stuff, I would have never bought it. Yeah, it works, but I don't think it's worth the effort it takes to put it on. (and clean off.) As far as cooling goes, it's not any better than the cheaper brands I've tried. I'm really starting to doubt if thermal paste is even necessary. I recently saw a review on all of the top brands, including this one. Guess what performed just as well as them? Mayonnaise. yep.

Pros: all good with no worries good product and company used them for years
This review is from: Arctic Silver CMQ2-25G Céramique 2 Tri-Linear Ceramic Thermal Compound - OEM
Pros: I bought the tube originally not knowing if I'd need to use it building my computer. Turns out both the APU heatsink and the Liquid cooler I installed had some pre-applied. I just found my liquid cooler's thermal compound had already dried out and began to overheat my APU.
I just dropped a blob of this onto the unit, stuck it to the chip and bolted it in. So far, definately 15c cooler than idle was before. at least.. Its been in the computer for a little over an hour, and its still 15c cooler than it was before
Cons: None yet!
Other Thoughts: I don't recall WHY I picked this compound, other than price, brand rep, and according to the reviews, I might have picked it because it's not electrically conductive. something someone like me (who's never applied thermal paste before in his life) would find invaluable.
$9 for a tube of ceramic 'glue' of sorts for a CPU Cooler? Hell, I just spent $899 on parts, Might as well burn another $10 on preventative care, Right? Glad I did!
