Important Reminder:
Due to the unique shapes and sizes of the particles in Ceramique 2, it will take a minimum of 25 hours and several thermal cycles to achieve maximum particle to particle thermal conduction and for the heatsink to CPU interface to reach maximum conductivity. (This period will be longer in a system without a fan on the heatsink.) On systems measuring actual internal core temperatures via the CPU's internal diode, the measured temperature will often drop slightly over this "break-in" period. This break-in will occur during the normal use of the computer as long as the computer is turned off from time to time and the interface is allowed to cool to room temperature. Once the break-in is complete, the computer can be left on if desired.

Tri-Linear Ceramic Content:
Like the original Ceramique, Ceramique 2 uses only ceramic fillers so it is neither electrically conductive nor capacitive. The tri-linear composite of aluminum oxide, zinc oxide and boron nitride allows the thinnest possible bond line with modern processors, heatsinks and electronics. Critically-sized particles and new ultra-high shear mixing techniques maximize Ceramique 2's thermal performance and help maintain a stable homogenous suspension. This exclusive combination provides performance exceeding most metal based compounds.

Polysynthetic Suspension Fluid:
A new oil mixture, improved thermal filler properties and increased particle deagglomeration, dispersal and density enhance Ceramique 2's thermal performance and overall stability. The third generation polysynthetic suspension fluid combines advanced synthetic oils to maximize wetting and stability while allowing a higher density of thermally conductive fillers.

Excellent Stability:
Ceramique 2 is engineered to not separate, run, migrate, or bleed.

Electrical Insulator:
Ceramique 2 does not contain any metal or other electrically conductive materials. It is a pure electrical insulator, neither electrically conductive nor capacitive.

Performance:
2 to 10 degrees centigrade lower CPU full load core temperatures than standard thermal compounds or thermal pads when measured with a calibrated thermal diode imbedded in the CPU core.

Innovative Dispenser:
The amount of compound remaining in the 2.7-gram syringe is easy to determine as the rear of the plunger is perfectly flush with the flange when the syringe is empty.

Easy Clean Up:
Ceramique 2 can easily be cleaned from CPUs and heatsinks with ArctiClean, isopropyl alcohol or any of the cleaners listed in the product instructions.

Pros: Large volume
Non conductive
A little goes a long way and you get a ton
2 years old tube and still works great.
After 2 years of usage on an overclocked Phenom II 975... it was still fine and not dried out.

Cons: Tough paste... hard to spread

There is stuff that will lower temps by a degree or 2 better than this

Other Thoughts: This tube lasts so long and works so good I think the cost is probably too low. I guess if you're constantly using it then Arctic gets more money as you buy it again, but I've built 5 PC's now and have had this for 2 years and it still work great.
Yeah there is "better" stuff out there, but 1~2C difference is not a big deal... I watercool anyways.

Pros: Properly applied, this drops your [insert hot chip here] temps. Exactly how much depends on the chip, the cooler, and the reference thermal compound. CPUs will get a few degrees cooler.
Used on Asus/AMD Radeon HD 4670 with Asus' big aluminum HSF. Load temps were 60C with reference compound (slightly non-reference cooler). I spread some AS Ceramique II over the heatsink, and load temps dropped to around 55C after it was done setting in.
Cheap.
Lasts for at least a year before the thermal interface needs to be resurfaced, assuming you don't move it. I haven't gotten this stuff to degrade, so I don't know the practical limit.

Cons: There are more potent thermal compounds out there.

Other Thoughts: My favorite method is to put it on the heatsink and spread with a razor blade, but it's touchy and only going to work properly on convex heat spreaders. If you do that on a concave surface (i.e. Intel CPU), you'll get air bubbles.
Takes several thermal cycles before it sets up properly.

Pros: got it on sale for seven bucks and it over twice the size of the smaller tube that six bucks

Other Thoughts: this stuff works great on every chip that is held down buy clips or what ever hols it down

Pros: Good paste, good price, does what it's suppose to do!

Cons: stains your clothes :(

Other Thoughts: If I needed to buy thermal paste for someone or needed some more I would definitely get this product again.

Pros: I am jealous because you told that is so good-

Cons: I never had it. I bought 1000 dollars hardware, but 4 dollars thermal paste missing in the box. I send several e-mail but there is no response. It is not about 4 bucks it is about respects.

Pros: still going strong and works well for cpu and gpu as well as vrm. this is non-conductive so im my eyes it is superior to others.

Cons: take a practice run, the consistency is a little different than what i was used to.

Pros: Performs much better than silicon paste.
Extremely thick and sticky.
Easy to use, just put a drop and apply pressure.
You get a huge amount for what you pay.
Non-conductive of electricity

Cons: None at this time.

Other Thoughts: I bought this mostly to use with vRAM heat sinks. Its extra thick and sticky and adheres well to the heat sinks. That is important because you need them to hold until the heat dries it out and causes it to harden. Gives excellent performance though. I wouldn't hesitate to use on a CPU or anything else.

Other Thoughts: I use this on anything that needs thermal conductivity and it works great. pcs xbox repairing digital platscreen tvs, laptop and desktop systems, gpu cards, and motherboard chipsets. it has worked wonders and never fails to amaze me how much better it is than the stock garbage already on the chips.

Pros: There is plenty of it to go around. 25 grams is good for approximately 200 square inches.

Non-capacitive and non-conductive.

It works and lasts a long time.

Cons: Can be a bit messy.

Slightly more viscous and harder to spread than other thermal compounds, like Arctic Silver 5.

Other Thoughts: I bought a tube of this to apply onto my Core 2 Duo E7200 and Zalman CPNS9500 cooler since I planned on overclocking this thing.

On stock speeds (2.53 GHz), I was idling at about 29-30°C and hitting no more than 37°C under load, even without break-in. Now I'm running at 3.16 GHz, idling at 30-32°C, and hitting 40°C max under load with median 35°C.

Still have yet to break it in since it takes about 25 hours of use, but all temps will probably drop about a centigrade once things finally settle.

the sequel to ceramique

Other Thoughts: this is only $2.50 more (when on sale) than the smaller syringe but you get almost 10 times the amount, so this easily made sense to get. will be a long time before this gets completely used up.
