Silly me thinking this was better than what intel shipped on their heatsink. I am not getting 5+ degrees C hotter under load. I even reapplied to make sure I had done it properly and same result. What a waste of time and money just to get worse temps!

Other Thoughts: This stuff is OK but it's not an upgrade.

Just as a warning, this is super runny. And many installation guides on the web tell you to put way too much on. You just want a little bit, like the size of a grain of rice or a small thin line down the center. If you do too much, your CPU will overheat as there will be no heatsink copper contact with the CPU.

Pros: Cheap, unless you count I now need to order a new motherboard and processor.

Cons: I have worked in computers for over 5 years and this is the first time I have ever seen this happen with thermal grease. When going to apply it it emptied the entire contents on the first slight push on the plunger. It seeped down into the socket and covered a corner of the pins on the processor as well before I could get anyway to clean the mess it made. This product contains 10% silver if the package is to be believed so computer doesn't even post.

Other Thoughts: Contacting Newegg they couldn't do anything to help me but that's understandable. I decided instead to try and contact the manufactorer of it and after finding their website I find they are a Chinese based company with offices in North America, attempts to contact these numbers was met with a notice that the phone line had been disconnected. Stay Away from this product or anything else from this company.
