Cools well

Pros: Great cooler. Lowered my Intel i920 with a stock Intel cooler from a steady state 60C (yeah near the "thermal design limit" of 64C) to 30C. FSX no longer locks up and/or crashes after 10-15 min of flight.

Cons: Very tall. Will interfere with a case fan if he fan is not in the below the CPU.
The original ASUS supplied fan came broken. The plastic fan blades had broken free from the electric motor. Rather than go through RMA hell to get a working cooler while my computer sat useless for 2-3 weeks so I went to a brick an mortar store to get a $10 CPU fan and s(rewed (weird word to block) it in.

Other Thoughts: The cooler works great as mentioned and if you want a good cooler that looks great this is the one. I am disappointed with ASUS quality control because they packed a broken fan in their box. Neither the CPU cooler box nor the Newegg box had any sign of damage so the fan was broken when it started.

I would recommend this product to friends and family members!

Almost too big

Pros: Does an amazing job keeping my AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.2GHz quad core cool, I've never once seen it go above 34 degrees celcius.

Cons: Almost didn't fit in my Antec 900 case. Has about 2mm clearance from the fan on the side pannel, and I had to break off the entire bottom row of fins on the right side so before I could fit my OZC reapers under it. And it's still a little bit of a squeeze

Other Thoughts: This thing is a beast, but an effective one. If you can get it to fit it'll keep your cpu cool like nothing else.

Big, copper, and it works!

Pros: Keeps my Phenom II X3 nice and cool, super quiet, runs at low RPMs yet moves a good amount of air.

Cons: BIG... might be difficult to install in some cases.

Other Thoughts: I picked this up for less then $40 (after rebate) and boy am I glad I did. The warmest this my CPU has gotten is 35°C but 99% of the time it stays at 32°C.
