COOLER MASTER ICT-D925R-GP 95mm Rifle CPU Cooler

  • 2200 ±10% RPM
  • 43 CFM
  • Aluminum Alloy
ICON Loading...

The ICT-D925R-GP CPU cooler by Cooler Master offers an inexpensive way to improve your system. Quieter and more powerful than a stock cooler, the D925R helps you protect your investment by delivering superior cooling to the vital CPU. The 95mm fan produces a very respectable 43 CFM of airflow as it spins on its long life rifle bearings. Even at 2200 RPM, it only produces 23.8 dBA – a level below the 30 dBA of a whisper.

The fan sits atop an aluminum alloy heatsink with integrated convection fins. Its one piece casting provides seamless thermal transition from the core of the heatsink out to the fins for dispersal. The D925R is designed to support Intel Socket LGA 775 Pentium 4 and Celeron D processors of 3.4 GHz and higher making this cooler the right choice to ensure that your system continues to perform reliably for the long haul.

  • newegg Excellent Cooling Performance The aluminum alloy fins optimize heat dissipation and the 95mm, 2200RPM rifle bearing fan delivers an air flow of up to 43 CFM for supreme cooling performance.
  • newegg Support for Fan Speed Adjustments With a 3-pin connector, fine tune fan speeds for the optimum balance between cooling performance and noise level.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Mid-Range cooler

Pros: Install was easy, fan runs quiet. I am using on a 3.2GHz dual core with no issues. I'm not really sure if my computer is on when I hit the power switch (I'll have to get that power LED hooked up correctly)!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Good basic heat sink for a decent price.

4 out of 5 eggsehh its ok, not recommended for high end CPUs

Pros: very good price, easy and secure installation, sturdy build

Cons: theres a reason why its priced so cheaply. my q6600 quad-core runs about runs about 46-55, im just surfing the web right now and its at 50. thats pretty hot compared to my athlon x2 and arctic cooler pairing which ran from 19-32.

Other Thoughts: itll get the job done, if your using an expensive CPU id recommend getting a better model

4 out of 5 eggsgood

Pros: great price

Cons: killed my motherboard, my fault though... it was a really cheap motherboard

Other Thoughts: it puts a lot of pressure on the motherboard, so make sure your not using a cheap motherboard. also, if u have some extra cash you might wanna go for something better

3 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: Great heatsink, running an Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 Wolfdale 2.53GHz and it keeps it around 40C which is good considering the location of the computer

Cons: Its pretty loud, my 360mm fans in the case are quieter then the heatsink fan

Other Thoughts: Not too bad

4 out of 5 eggsVery good for the price

Pros: It's cheap! The heatsink is of good size and the fan is very quiet, I can't hear the fan at all as the case fan is louder (a 20db, 120mm model). Also, it lowered the idle temperature of my E8400 from 39C with the stock heatsink, to 33C... so, it was worth the $12.

Cons: For this price, nothing I can think of.

Other Thoughts: This heatsink is twice as high as the stock unit Intel provides with the E8000 series, so it performs much better. Also, it is quiter than the stock unit. I would NOT recommend this product for somebody that has a Prescott processor of anykind (P4, Celeron, PD)

5 out of 5 eggsCant Beat It For The Price

Pros: Great little heatsink/fan. Dirt cheap QUIET

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Replaced my "NEW" stock fan on my E8400 which totally SUCKED. Hard to believe a $12 cooler is 10 times better than a stock cooler on a $200 processor

3 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Easy to install. Not as tall or as wide as most of the other ones I've seen. Mainly, just bought it until the new board came in so I could measure it for another cooler.

Cons: It keeps it kinda cool. Doesn't work well if you overclock the processor or if you house is hot.

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: It cools my CPU

Cons: It's not a good value. Other coolers do a much better job for only a little bit more.

Other Thoughts: The two features I wish this cooler had are a copper base and PWM (so the fan isn't always running at full speed). It doesn't come with thermal paste either. This fan is the loudest thing in my case by far and it doesn't keep my CPU very cool (mid- 30's at idle according to Intel TAT). I'm new to building systems but have quickly learned what a lame cooler this is. If you're looking for an inexpensive cooler, try the Rosewill RCX-Z775-LX 92mm Ball CPU Cooler instead for just a few bucks more or the COOLER MASTER RR-CCH-L9U1-GP 92mm Hyper TX2 (highly rated by Tom's Hardware) for a bit more. I don't own either, but am considering them. My Dell heatsink & fan keeps my Core 2 Duo much cooler (around 27 at idle)!

4 out of 5 eggsKeeping it Cool

Pros: Keeps it cool, cheap.

Cons: A little noisy, but not too bad (then again, I do have my machine out in the open).

Other Thoughts: I bought this for a Core 2 Quad to save some money (the processor was $250 alone), and it works just fine. I do a bit of software video encoding, and I've never had an issue with this fan.
