Probably broken
- Pros: Is extremely silent, makes almost no noise at all, moves a decent amount of air, but nothing impressive.
- Cons: There's probably something wrong with the one I received. I think the fan might be off balance or something because when it starts spinning it causes my case to vibrate, and you can feel it through the desk. If it wasn't for this though I'd be really happy with it, and I haven't read any other reviews talking about this problem.
- Other Thoughts: I'll probably put some cushioning between it and the case, it just doesn't seem like a big enough deal to ship back.
- Pros: Quiet and push a reasonable amount of air.
- Cons: None at this time.
- Other Thoughts: These don't create a hurricane force wind, but they weren't designed to. Two or three of them will do a nice job of keeping air moving through your case. If you need to move a lot of air or dissipate a lot of heat, there are other fans designed with that in mind, but they will probably be a lot larger or noisier or more expensive. I have five of these in my latest build with a CM-690 case: (1) front inlet, (2) side inlet, (1) rear exhaust and (1) top exhaust.
Good Quiet Fan for a Good Price
- Pros: Installation is easy.
There is an arrow showing what direction the fan blows - very helpful. Relatively quiet with good air flow.
- Cons: None so far.
- Other Thoughts: I'm very pleased there is an arrow showing what direction the fan blows. Even though I *did* figure out the fan direction by comparing it to other fans and their blowing and fin orientation it was nice to know for sure what direction it was blowing.
