The GeminiII RR-CCH- PBU1-GP from Cooler Master is more than a CPU cooler; it's a "complete system cooler." A large beast by any measure, it features a pure copper base, 5 heatpipes and high density aluminum fin for optimal heat dissipation. A selection of mounting components allows the user to obtain the optimal installation of the cooler's copper base against the AMD or Intel processors.

A 120mm fan with sickle blade design provides huge airflow and silent, 19 dBA cooling. With a flexible fan bracket design, the RR-CCH-PBU1-GP also supports two 92mm/80mm fans without any interference. This allows further customization according to the user's and system’s needs. Use a pair of ultra-quiet fans for silent operations, or high output fans can be used to get faster, stable performance out of an overclocked CPU. Or, position a silent fan can be placed over the memory, while a high output fan cools the processor. The choice is up to you!

  • newegg Superior Heat Dissipation The pure copper base and 5 copper heatpipes, coupled with high-density aluminum fins, maximize heat transfer and dissipation, while a silent 120mm, 1000-2000 RPM cooling fan provides a complete cooling solution for the CPU and its surrounding components.
  • newegg Unique Fan Bracket With the unique, flexible fan bracket, the default 120mm fan can be easily exchanged to two 92mm/80mm fans to meet your system’s need. The adjustable bracket is movable to avoid any interference.
  • newegg Core i7 Compatible The Cooler Master RR-CCH-PBU1-GP supports Intel's latest-generation Core i7 processors. It also features broad compatibility with AMD socket AM3, AM2, and AM2+ platforms, as well as the Intel LGA 775 platform.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: All

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: So far, so good. I have had no overheating issues associated with my processor to date. This is a great product! I'm glad I put in a few extra bucks in the beginning to not have to replace the stock fan this far into the processor's lifetime.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Keeps my AMD Phenom II x4 965 Black generally in the 50's and 60's under load. Easy install.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Bit of a tight fit with my G.Skill Ripjaws memory's heatsinks.

5 out of 5 eggsSuper Cooler

Pros: Cools FX-8120 extremely well ... this setup is running at < 10c idle in nMedia 2000 HTPC case in a restrictive environment. Haven't seen it above 22c. The system it replaced ran 45c @ idle on Phenom II quad core. If I want can put on 2-92mm fans to cool my 32G-1866 Gskills

Cons: Does not include the 92mm fans & wasn't free

5 out of 5 eggsNo flaws

Pros: Get this cooler. A year ago I built this computer with emphasis on noise and temperature with decent performance (460SE, i7, microATX case/mobo) and over a year later this thing still runs perfectly, keeps temps low, and I can't hear anything more than a hum, and you could attribute that to the fact that I added 2 cheap fans in the computer... CM reliable manufacturer, would buy again.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Asus Rampage III Gene motherboard: The sticks of ram get really close to the heatsink. You can see why I'm so glad I bought this. Also I wouldn't recommend RAM with tall heatsinks in conjunction with this for that very reason, but that could depend on the motherboard. Did my research, didn't get RAM with tall heatsinks (i.e. corsair dominator, gskill ripjaws not ok - do your math)

4 out of 5 eggsWorked well for several years

Pros: - Easy to set up and install, provided you read the instructions and treat your hardware with care.

- Was more than sufficient to insure my Intel Core 2 Duo Wolfdale chip ran nice and cool even under very heavy loads.

Cons: - The sleeve fan blades cracked and literally split in half 6 months into using it. I decided to repair it, but recently had to replace the whole fan on it with a newer (and sturdier) fan design. This issue was the sole reason I dropped it one egg.

- Wish the fan was of a sturdier design :(

Other Thoughts: I found that replacing my broken fan with the COOLER MASTER Excalibur R4-EXBB-20PK-R0 120mm Case Fan was more than a good choice: it runs the CPU at even cooler temperatures and is quieter than the stock fan that came with it.

5 out of 5 eggsCoolmaster CPU Cooler

Pros: Nice size fan, fits into my Thermaltake Lanbox Lite case with no clearance issues with power supply directly above it. Option for dual 120mm fans, quite, price was reasonable, the way it mounts is better than just push pins, fan can be replaced.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Thermaltake Lanbox Lite

5 out of 5 eggsCooler Master still going strong

Pros: still going strong after a year on 1 of them 6 mo. on the other. the cooler master 120mm black on blue as i call them work really well on this cooler. 2000 rpm delivers plenty of cool air for the CPU and the memory.

Cons: con's? no con's

Other Thoughts: i did want to comment on my last review on this cooler . at the time when i made it, i could not find anymore. and was told by someone that cooler master was not making this one any longer. i was mistaken. and am glad i was, i plan to do a lot more builds and this cooler is the ticket. it cools the CPU great and the memory and still lets you add a fan to the side of the case, because it is not too tall.

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: low profile

Cons: Does not work. Chance of damaging motherboard since you have to install it from the bottom.

5 out of 5 eggsI have 2, nothing better

Pros: this is the very best i have found. keeps my AMD 1090 6 core cool, 39c idle, 49c full load. and my AMD 980 4 core at 38c and 48c full gaming. it does not get in the way of anything else on the board. i put my GSkill Sniper Memory in after the Heat Sink was installed. i did not have to remove any side fans. this thing is built like the factory heat sink that comes with the AMD CPU's but much larger. i took the stock fan off, which is a good fan and added a cooler master Black on blue 2000 rpm exhaust fan. now i have even better air flow and it has the blue light, if you like lights in your case.

Cons: Cooler master stop making them, don't know why.

Other Thoughts: if your not going to water cool. then this is the one to get.

5 out of 5 eggsStill Going Strong

Pros: -Copper Material
-Relatively Small
-Cooling power

Cons: Directions are a little vague.

Other Thoughts: Used in a Cooler Master HAF 932 to cool an i5-750. I have had this in my case for over 2 years now, and it still runs just as good as it did in the first month. Paired with Arctic Ceramique, I see average temps of 19C (idle) and 40C (load), in both winter and summer. I have yet to see temps go above 50C (rarely goes above 45C); a major change from the stock cooler, which averaged 40C (idle).
