5 out of 5 eggsAhhhh screws!

Pros: Easy installation, excellent quality, excellent cooling and reasonably quiet. Works with pretty much any Intel Core 2 Duo processor. Much better than Intel's OEM fan and heat sink. And most importantly, it attaches with SCREWS and not those cheap and flimsy clips.

Cons: I prefer a little Arctic Silver or something in a tube that I can apply versus the pre-installed "disc" of thermal grease.

Other Thoughts: I use this HS/F in all of my standard PC builds at that moment. So far I have never had a single issue, every one works perfectly out of the box and they seem to run forever.

3 out of 5 eggsnot so quiet

Pros: ahhh idle temp for my E6300 is 45C is that a pro?

Cons: it's too loud for me comparing to my stock fan, which at least has speed control, this one doesn't. don't recommand putting this in a bedroom or something

5 out of 5 eggsSilent and Suprisingly GOOD

Pros: I used to own a stock fan for my E5300, i noticed my processor temp dropped dramatically about 5C. Also at full loads the fan is still quiet enough for me to sleep.(Also temperature is below 55C EVEN OVERCLOCKED TO 3.5GHZ) The stock fan would make a loud humming noise that would keep me awake all night.

Overall: WAY WORTH THE MONEY

Cons: It not great enough to make the world light on fire.

Other Thoughts: 15 bucks is all it takes to keep your rig cooled.

5 out of 5 eggsSuprising!

Pros: Okay this cheapy heat sink surprised the hell out of me! I first bought it because I thought anything would be better than the stock intel heatsink, but I was a little nervous about the small contact plate. Well this seamed to be a non-issue as it dropped the running temp a good 5-7 C from the stock cooler, and is way easier to install... I hate those dam clips that make you feel like you're going to break you mobo.

Cons: For the price I with I could give this 6 stars

Other Thoughts: Would preform even better with artic silver, or ceramic'. This isn't for overclocking obviously but I to the e7400 to 3.2 ghz (from 2.8) without the temp going over idle of the stock cooler.

4 out of 5 eggsBest for the money

Pros: cheap, securely attached to the Mother B Large fan somewhat quite.

Little better than stock fan but.. noise is till there.. and Sink itself.. wishes better... but what do you want for 11$?

Cons: ..none for the money!

Other Thoughts: I love cooler master products!

Pros: Great price, improvement over stock in cooling and volume.

Cons: You can get a better cooler, but not for this price.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat airflow for the price

Pros: When i installed this one from the stock intel one it drop 10 degrees C. After running for 24 hour time span it stay around 34-35 C. When before it was running well over 40 C. So for less then 20 bucks you cant beat this.

Cons: cant find a one

Other Thoughts: If you like you computer to be a makeshift heater then this is not the heatsink/fan for you. But if your looking to lower cpu temps then this is the cheapest biggest bang for the buck.

4 out of 5 eggsIt cools...

Pros: It dose what it says it will do, slightly better than stock Intel cooler and less noisy - worth 15 bones.

Cons: not so much a con, but not a spectacular cooler, but not expected for the price - really worth every penny if you cannot convince yourself to spend more

Other Thoughts: Bought for an old P4 3.2g - it is living around 40c with this.
Chicago "style" pizza indeed is not pizza at all.

2 out of 5 eggsworse than stock in terms of heat

Pros: fairly ez installation once u admit the fact that u need to lift the MOBO up to install the bracket below, but this is how a "real" CPU fan and heatsink should be, as opposed to the "snatching" plastic stock fan, which lasted for less than 1 year, 2 of them failed on me before buying this one.

Cons: It makes my CPU temperature a few degrees hotter than stock, possible will be worse as Im comparing this a 1 year old stock's temperature so I believe this cheap toy generally makes C2D cpus 10 degrees celcius compared to stock fans(C2D)

Other Thoughts: I used it on my E6750 C2D.

4 out of 5 eggsStick with supported cpu's

Pros: Easy install, no pins, screws that don't bend/break your motherboard ... not too much force is necessary.

Probably works ok with supported CPU.

Cons: I tried this with an unsupported Pentium 3.0 GHz I pulled from a Dell and tossed into an ECS cheapo board, temps idle near 40C and quickly approach 60C with anti virus scan, didn't try to go up to 100% usage. This is in a roomy, empty case with plenty of fans and airflow.

The CPU appears larger than the seating on the heatsink.

Other Thoughts: I hoped for better, even though this doesn't list the Pentium (or Quad core, fellahs!) as supported ... not CM's fault.

I got it cheap at a local store so it's not a big deal, I'll keep it in for a bit the people using it are elderly and just want to check their email occasionally, it might do the trick if they don't leave the computer on very long.
