4 out of 5 eggsGood Fans!

This review is from: Cooler Master Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Value 4-Pack)

Pros: Very good bargain for what your getting, quiet, fast and very good looking.

Cons: To screw these in takes a while but you can always buy a cordless drill to do it.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Cooler Master Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Value 4-Pack)

Pros: This is my 7th build using this item. Oldest build is over 1 year. The fans have proved reliable, very quiet (even at full speed), and very stable speed. And the price was great. I'll continue to use them on all future builds.

Cons: None...

Other Thoughts: Great product, great price. Quiet and reliable, with no blinding light shows. These were used for business class machine builds, so no LEDs were a requirement.

2 out of 5 eggsQuiet, and hence a little weak. Quality control is not the best.

This review is from: Cooler Master Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Value 4-Pack)

Pros: - Cheap
- Quiet

Cons: - A little weak
- Package comes with just the four fans. No screws or anything.
- One of the four fans I got didn't work at all. Guess that's the quality control you would find in a value 4-pack.

Other Thoughts: If you get them at a rebate price of 7 bucks (12 w/o rebate), it's ok. For my case, I basically paid 2.33 for a fan (4 w/o rebate) since one of the fans came in dead.
I would not buy these if they were 15 bucks or above. It's better off that you spend a few more bucks on a better fan than these. After all, quality is more important than quantity. Get these only if you want an immediate backup for dead fan (let's just hope that they work when you need them).

1 out of 5 eggsCHEAP BUT DOES NOT FIT

This review is from: Cooler Master Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Value 4-Pack)

Pros: These fans were:
- cheap,
- quiet,
-basic,
what I needed for my case since I have an ANTEC Lanboy Air open flow case, I don't need anything killer. I've never had to crank the original fans in the case from heating issues.

Cons: DOES NOT FIT MOUNTS ON SIDE OF CASE!!!
I discovered trying to fit these in, that its impossible after mounting them anywhere on the side of a case that the 3 pin connector WILL NOT reach your motherboard at all.
THE FIX:
Buy 4 extensions or MOLEX adaptors at $5 each.
COST TOTAL: $30 for cheapo fans.... not ok in my book.

Other Thoughts: Coolmaster is a good company, and I understand that this is a bottom shelf fan, but for clean mounting in a case, the length of the cord is not realistic.

Due to open airflow in my case, you can see everything, So i run everything in the corners cleanly, these fans will not allow that without another $20 investment (twice what i paid for the fans). Thanks for reading.

4 out of 5 eggsThey do what they're supposed to.

This review is from: Cooler Master Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Value 4-Pack)

Pros: They're fans. They spin. They move air. They work. Had a couple running for a year or so now, no issues. Their actual RPM seems to vary a bit, usually between 1000 and 1100 at 100% power.
Whisper quiet, can't hear them at all.
Their low speed also means they don't really vibrate by any noticeable amount. I had one literally just standing on top of my DVD drive, between the higher-up drive bays and the plastic front of my case, not mounted to anything, and never noticed it vibrating or moving.

Cons: They don't move very MUCH air, but I suppose they're alright for case ventilation.

Other Thoughts: Coming in a pack of four is great since you probably are going to want to put more than one in due to the low airflow.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat deal Great quality from Cooler master.

This review is from: Cooler Master Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Value 4-Pack)

Pros: They are Quiet, come nicely packaged, good airflow, and cheap. Also comes with 4 sets of fan screws.

Cons: they come with 3 pin connectors, and no adapters, so if you are going to plug them up to your PSU, you will need to buy the 4 flat to 3 pin fan adapters. I didn't need them, the front panel fan controller I installed with them had both types of output connectors on each lead.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommend.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat to do with the Extra's?

This review is from: Cooler Master Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Value 4-Pack)

Pros: -4 for less than 1
-Works out of the box

Cons: -None for now

Other Thoughts: What is the deal with this deal? When I order these fans, I only needed one. But the next cheapest fan was a $1 more... so for less, I got 3 more fans than I need. Guess that's a perk right? Just finished installing the one I needed. Nice packaging, includes four baggies of screws for each fan. On my rig, the cable is a little... on the tight end. Not really tight, just tighter than my last fan which had a nice long cable that slacked below the CPU heat-sink. This one, is riding across the front of the heat-sink but reaches just fine without pressure to the fan port. Powered up the machine, fan spun right up and quiet. No complains. Will see about life expectancy. The box has a nice, lifetime warranty, label printed on it. So even if it dies, I'll put that to the test while I use another of the 3 extra fans.

5 out of 5 eggsYou're not going to find better fans at this price point, not in a 4 pack.

This review is from: Cooler Master Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Value 4-Pack)

Pros: All 4 of these were installed in my new rig, they work fine and are not loud at all, you can hear them just enough to know they are working which to me is the way I like it.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet. Simple. Effective.

This review is from: Cooler Master Sleeve Bearing 120mm Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators (Value 4-Pack)

Pros: -Quiet even at full RPM
-$12 for 4 fans
-Good Airflow

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: From a pure functionality standpoint, this is absolutely the best way to go for chassis fans. This set of 4 costs less than most single fans of the same quality. Unless you overclock, you really don't need to blow the bank on ventilation
