Yes.  The CPU cooler is compatible with the socket 1150 CPUs.  I am using it with an Intel Core i5-4670k overclocked to 4200 and am experiencing absolutely no problems.  And it is q-u-i-e-t!  Hope this help you with your decision.  I was considering water cooled options, but this met my needs admirably as I am not overclocking to the extreme.

I have an Antec 300 case. Will this fit it?

I have this Cooler in a Rosewell Mid Size case and it is a very easy fit. Your Antec 300 case should be the same. You will have to remove the motherboard from the case to install the cooler, unless the side of the case is open where the cpu socket is. My Rosewell case has a opening on the side giving me access to the bolt holes to attach the cooler.

Could this fit an AMD AM3+ Socket?

I run an i7, so I can't say from experience, but have two ideas to figure out the answer to your question.  First is to check the list of processors, rather than the slot, that this works with.  You can find this info on the cooler master site (can't post the link).

Second would be to find another cooler that is compatable with AMD AM3+ and see if it is also compatable with AM3, AM2+, AM2.  If other coolers are backwards compatable I would assume this one if forward compatable.

Also, I didn't realize this when I bought it, but note that this is a 3 pin fan, not 4 pin, which makes it trickier to manage your fan speed (normally will just spin at full power).

am not sure about the AMD motherboards, i fitted it on a EVGA SR 2 LGA 1366 mobo. i had to change back place of the motherboard to a different one which was supplied with the mobo, the cooler have several fitting options check the specifications on your board.

I have a EVGA Hadron Air Mini ITX case. It can fit a full size GPU. I was wondering if this will fit inside that case or if anyone has already tried it?

asus z77 sabertooth /azza 9000 case inverted question

hey guy/ peeps im looking at getting this with sabertooth z77 in a azza 9000 case . yes keeping cpu at bottom , when its is install what way are the fans located  . meaning if cup is toward bottom of case can this be install with intake near bottom of case and exhaust on the up side     trying keep air flow in same direction? ,,

If the mainboard mounting holes are symmetrical (evenly spaced in a square) then you can rotate the cooler 90 degrees either direction.

The cooler has a plate that attaches to the bottom for the different CPU configurations (AMD or Intel) and that plate connects to the mainboard.   There is a back plate that attaches to the back of the mainboard with a universal set of holes.

It appears to me that the holes for a given CPU are symmetrical, so you can rotate the cooler any direction.

Question 9

When I installed this cooler on my LGA 1155 CPU a fan error pop up in the bios and only one of the fans where running , could it be because the adapter is three pin and my motherboard is a four pin how could I fix this ?

Provided you put the three pins on the right connections there shouldn't be a problem. I would make sure it was plugged in correctly or try the other fan cable on the connection where the dead fan was. Make sure the computer is off before removing and replacing fan connections. If the fan still doesn't work then the fan is dead. If the other fan fails to start then the connection on the motherboard may be dead.
