5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: This is just great.
comes with spreading tool

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: I replaced my laptops stock compound with this stuff and my idle temps rose from 14 to 20c BUT my load temps dropped from 90 to 60!!!

On my newly built desktop I started out with artic mx-4. with my i7 at stock clock I averaged 37c idle and 65c at 70% load. with it OC @ 4.2 It idled at 55c.

I cleaned it up and put some of this stuff on it and my stock clock temps dropped to an average of 27c. at load havent even reached 60c at 100% load with prime 95.

I havent been able to overclock with the compound yet (I just applied it last night before bed). But this stuff is way better than artic. for all the hype artic gets I was disappointed. But this stuff surpassed my expectations 10 fold.

You have about 3 uses with this stuff.
Ill be buying this again when i need it.

2 out of 5 eggsNot that great...

Pros: They give you a lot more than most per tube, it spreads quite easily. Overall, it's an easy substance to work with.

Cons: It makes absolutely zero difference from using this product compared to not using any thermal compound at all. Also, it dries up rather quickly within a week actually...

Other Thoughts: I used this product with a Corsair H80i as well as a stock Intel heatsink/fan combination. The results were actually a bit alarming; I noticed not one degree of difference from using this thermal compound, to not using any at all.

Though, I suppose it should help dissipate the dreaded 'heat spots'. I'd venture to say it's good for little else... I might try to put the rest of it on my squeaky door hinge. Another review to follow up on its 'anti-squeak' abilities.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Best

Pros: Simply the best TIM I've ever used.

Perfect consistency.
Non-curing, long lasting goodness!!!

I have been very pleased with all temperatures when using this stuff. I highly recommend this paste.

Cons: It's gotta be magic,
and that's technically cheating.

Other Thoughts: I've tried many others, but nothing has compared.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: 1. Thin
2. Easily spread like butter
3. Great temps

Cons: 1. None

Other Thoughts: I was using Noctua's brand but switched to this, WOW my laptop was running 62C before (after multiple applicatons of Noctua mind you so it wasn't a bad install) and this runs it 58C full load. That's the difference here, no joke. I believe it's due to the compounds easily spreadable nature, filling crevices with ease.

5 out of 5 eggsThe "utilitarian"

Pros: I had to replace the stock thermal solution on my i7 920 which I still run with the heatsink it came with. Picked up this one from Cooler Master and so far it has done exactly what it's supposed to do - to keep a close contact between the heat-spreader of the CPU and the heatsink base.

The solution itself is very easy to apply, spreads nicely and effortlessly than many other of its class. Neither is very sticky nor does ooze out - ideal to work with. The included spatula thing really came very handy to administer a thin layer, a nice addition indeed!

I noticed the temps came down from 60*C/65*C to an acceptable and steady 56*C under load. I have a cramped CM Elite 335 case without much air-circulation, so that's a good result for me.

Cons: Not much except I've a good amount leftover which I have no use of right now. Well, maybe next build!

Other Thoughts: Overall the ThermalFusion is a very easy to work with compound and for the price does its job very well. Under the stock fan-sink I don't think this compound (or any other in the market for that matter) will help reduce the temperatures dramatically as that's not the thermal agent's primary function. People claiming temp-drops of ~10*C by just changing thermal paste brand either don't understand how thermodynamics works or just attributing credits to the wrong recipient!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This TIM spreads nicely and has a great viscosity. The included small plastic spreader is a nice touch. It kept me from using the traditional finger in a plastic bag to spread. Temps on a 65W TDP sandy bridge cpu kept things frosty.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Manufacturer reports no cure time for this TIM so I'm not expecting a +/- change in temps over the life of the application. I live at an altitude over 8000 feet and I hate that all products, this one included, like to spew out a little because of the change in atmospheric pressure - not a con, just an observation and rant on my part.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Best

Pros: it works better then any other product. goes on easy. low cost. tube has enough for lots of use i have loaned some to freinds for their cpu's and gpu's.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I put this on my i7 970 6 core about 7 months ago with the intel stock air cooler which is the same large cooler that comes with the 980x and my temps are in the high 20c to low 30c at idle and with prime 95 never get a core over 62c. yesterday i tried some artic silver 5 since all the hype about it and my temps at idle were 41c and at load 72c (SUCKS) so i put thermalfusion400 back on and temps were back down in the 20c to 30c range again. don't be taken in by all the A S 5hype use CoolerMaster TF 400

3 out of 5 eggsGood for standard use

Pros: It is thick & spreads easily. The color is gray as said in the description. Will work better then not having any compound at all. The price is reasonable. When CPU is not under load my temps run great at 26c.

Cons: I have used my stock intel CPU cooler for this test. I ran Prim95 with the compound that came with the stock Intel cooler. My temps with the stock compound ran no higher then 52c in the benchmark mode. I had cleaned off the CPU & applied this compound just to see what sort of stats it would post. It ran a couple of degree's hotter at 55c.

Other Thoughts: Over all I wasn't expecting much from this compound. It does work & spreads easily. Cleans up fairly well off the CPU as well. I'd say if your on a budget & need to replace your compound then use it. If you are looking to drop your CPU temps I'd stay away from this. Would not recommend for overclocking if that is what you are looking for. Over all this product is decent if you need some CPU paste on a budget.
