2 out of 5 eggsDo not recommend

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Move decent air for a while.

Cons: Unfortunately, the sleeve design also gives out rapidly. Four separate units failed within six months of use.

Other Thoughts: I definitely expect more from Cooler Master. While the experience with this specific product was certifiably NOT good, my over all end user experience with Cooler Master generally has. If you're considering a fan from CM, I'd recommend the Jet Flo 120 from Cooler Master over SickleFlow any day http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103192

2 out of 5 eggsNot too impressed

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: It was as easy to install as any case fan

Cons: It was far noisier that any of my stock case fans. Produced a very loud tone and wasn't as quiet as I needed it to be. I ended up unplugging it after about 20 min. of using it because of how noisy it is.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Upgrade

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: 2000rpm is a definte upgrade for me I bought some fans locally that spun so slow you couldnt tell the air flow these fans you can def tell the air flow as well as they have indicators on them to let you know.
Love the LED's little louder than my other fans but i will live with that knowing my system is run 3C cooler
Easy Install as well

Cons: none so far overall good prodcut

2 out of 5 eggsgood but has its own flaws

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: -Cheap
-Nice Led
-good airflow

Cons: The fan sometimes make weird noise at the startup goes away after awhile. While it goes away on its own the noise is extremely annoying

Another fan i own same Model and part if placed on bottom of chasis(throwing air in) it will make really weird noise at full speed no matter what u do

3 out of 5 eggsCould be better

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: At least it wasn't DOA.

Cons: Fan has loud whirring noise even at slowest speed
Not fantastic airflow.

Other Thoughts: Honestly, the cheap 120mm fan that came with my computer case ran quieter and had better airflow. Not terribly pleased by the replacement

5 out of 5 eggsMoves air, Not Silent

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: I brought 12 of these but not at one time (6 Red, 6 Blue). These fans do a good job of moving air but it is far from quiet at full rpm.

Cons: Two out of 12 chirping intermittently upon starting, but goes away within a few minutes. Sometimes no chirping at all. More like 1900 +/- 50 rpm. I'm not going to knock any eggs off for that.

Other Thoughts: Use a fan controller to reduce rpm and they are quiet.

3 out of 5 eggsCan be Loud

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Really nice fan, has some cool blue LEDs and i really like how they show

Cons: Unfortunetly, this thing is LOUD. just by itself with no filter, it runs at a 900 rpm but with a front panel on, it boosts up to 2000+ rpm to make up for the filter in its way.

Other Thoughts: Could be better if i could control the rpm and make it run a 1000rpm or lower.

1 out of 5 eggsCooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Has a pretty blue light.

Cons: It is louder then stated the Noise Level says 19 dBA I contacted support and was told it is 36 dBA on top of that i wanted to ask about a cpu cooler and before i could the rep ended the chat so the customer support was terrible.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Michael,

Fan noise is extremeley subjective. With that being said, I am sorry the fan did not meet your needs. Furthermore, in regards to the rep ending a chat on you. That is highly unlikely. Chances are that the chat may have crashed and or internet connectivity may have been lost due to server issues. Also, if you didn't, you could have started another chat and another rep could have easily helped you out with your other questions. If you submit a ticket through the CM Fanzone website, we can pass along your concerns of the fan in regards to noise and the 19dB claim onto a product manager and marketing.

3 out of 5 eggsNot Silent

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Looks nice and pushes a good amount of air.

Cons: Cooler Master should not say this fan is silent because it is not. Every other fan I have runs silently except for this one. The fan is at the top of my computer so placement is not the issue. If you do not mind the noise, everything else about the fan is great.
