5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fan

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: The fan is very quiet and moves a lot or air. I like the blue color it emits.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've found out noise can be created if the surface where the air passes through is ribbed or has fins, such as the side of a computer case. I experienced this and tried two fans from two different manufacturers blowing different and variable amounts of air and the result is the same. The fans appeared to be balanced and did not exhibit vibration which could cause noise. So when people report problems with noisy fans the real problem may be the design of the case where the fan is mounted that is actually causing the noise and not the fan itself.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Fan!

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Quiet and moves a decent amount of air.

It uses self-tapping screws, which can be a chore at the start, but once it goes all the way through, it's a piece of cake to tighten.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Love the first one so much, I bought 2 more to replace my stock fans that came with my Antec 300 Illusion case.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat buy

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Quiet
Very stylish and nice. Sturdy as well.
Comes with adapter 3 to 4 pin.
Matched nice with my other fans (LEDs are dimmable and bright)

Cons: Didn't come with long screws just the short, however I had spare. I just installed two, one for intake and one inner to cool. They do a great job.

Other Thoughts: This is a great buy, a good deal, and good quality. I am glad I went with Cooler Master.

My specs:
NZXT Phantom 410 Series Case
MSi Z97 MPower MAX AC Motherboard
Intel i7-4790K Devil's Canyon 4.0GHz
TridentX 16gb RAM
EVGA GTX 780
EVGA 1000W P2 PSU

*Also before I installed these two fans my motherboard temp was around 36, now with them I am around 30 Average. Huge difference.

4 out of 5 eggsIts worth the money but...

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Worth the cost, has a decent LED brightness on it and moves a lot of air. Fit right in to my Cosmos II case.

Cons: The only reason I dropped an Egg was for the fact that when these get turned down, they have an annoying sound. It is not too loud by itself, but when you have 5 of them, they can get bad. It almost adds a ticking sound.

Other Thoughts: Still a good buy, and if I need to replace one, I would get another. The sound only bugs me because my computers stays cool with all the fans I have, so I dont have a need for full speed very often.

3 out of 5 eggsVERY LOUD, Look cool

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: - Look cool
- Move a lot of air
- Cooler Master

Cons: - Very loud
- 2 started rattling very bad within a weeks time

Other Thoughts: Since I installed these in my PC my temps have dropped, but the noise level has increased dramatically. These things are very loud, and 2 of them are rattling already. You get what you pay for I suppose.

I am in the process of ordering Rosewill 120mm with 2 ball bearing and fan control for 2 more dollars to replace these.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: move lots of air quietly

Cons: Mine is setup as an intake so its noticebly louder pulling air through my screen/filter but that's an issue with my setup or any fan moving this much air so no eggs deducted

5 out of 5 eggsAll working pretty well, not silent at all

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Work well for the price
LEDs are nice
Cools the computer efficiently
Good if you're not aiming for quiet

Cons: Are not silent at all, actually
Noisy, loud

Other Thoughts: I bought 4 fans, and all of them work as intended. They're actually quite noisy, and even at rest there is a very loud hum that resonates from the computer case. It's not loud enough to wake people in the next room, but it can be distracting when using heavy duty applications. Personally, I don't mind, which is why I gave 5 eggs.

If you're looking for cheap, good fans, these are the ones you should get if you don't mind loud hums.

4 out of 5 eggsLoud, loud, loud!

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Bright LEDs
Cool look
Keeps case cool

Cons: Moved them from the front of my case to the side panel to cool a GTX 480, it's insanely loud, sounds like a jet engine. Didn't used to do this, I will have to get a fan controller to turn them on when it starts heating up.

Other Thoughts: Otherwise good fans. If you plan on using these for intake, look elsewhere.
