4 out of 5 eggsNot silent, but quiet

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Fits my case
Fairly easy to install
Blue LED

Cons: Not as quiet as expected

Other Thoughts: After 6 years with the original case fans it was time to change them out. This one was put in the front by the HDD bay, which was never occupied before (to pull fresh cool air through the case).

I don't see the blue much since the case front is blocking it, but I can feel air being pulled in now so that's really all I needed.

5 out of 5 eggsgood value

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: The blue is very dark which is nice but I made the mistake of buying two different fans by Cooler Master that also had blue LEDs that are much lighter. So now I have two different shades of blue. The fans work great but I don't understand how companies can get away with marketing them as silent when they are definitely not. (*they are when when fans are off*)

Cons: Loud

2 out of 5 eggsNot Very Great

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Have decently good airlfow.

Cons: These fans had great and bright LED's. After about a month or two of owning, 2 of the LED's of my 4 fans have gone out and all the rest have gotten significantly dimmer.
They are also very loud. And I mean very loud, you're always hearing them.

Other Thoughts: I'm buying a set of new fans now because these don't give my case the light they once had.

3 out of 5 eggsCheap and Loud

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: It a good case fan that pushes a lot of air to cool your computer.
my pc never passes 40*C when gaming and streaming.

Cons: The problem with these fans is that there too loud even when you try to control there RPM its still loud. I bought 4 of these fans and I guess I should have considered more options before buying these fans.
I guess you get what you pay for right..

Other Thoughts: I'm not saying these fans are bad there good it just that there too loud.
But for someone who doesn't care much about sound well this fan is a good buy.. but for others ill recommend you buy case fans that are around 1200 RPM if you want silence when gaming..

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: great fans the blue light effect is cool.
oh it pulls the air good.

Cons: there is an occassional vibration that is mildly annoying.
it could be occasional vibration on the top of the tower where i have it installed.
note that i have one of these fans set for turn itself off when not needed.

2 out of 5 eggsWhy?

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Fans themselves seem alright, but that's about it

Cons: They include screws that don't fit. How hard is it to make sure your screws fit your product? That's just sloppy. Exactly four screws to a fan, and none of them fit the fan. Disgustingly unprofessional mistake by Cooler Master.

2 out of 5 eggsIt's not Silent!!!!!

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Good airflow
Blue LED is nice

Cons: It sounds like a jet engine

Other Thoughts: I'm using it as an intake fan on the bottom of the case. I know that intake can be a little louder. I saw 19db as the spec, so I thought I would give it a try. I turned it on and I thought something was wrong. I happen to have a sound meter and measured this thing at 45db. That's more then twice what Cooler Master is advertising. It's $5 after the rebate, so not worth the RMA efforts, but I'm thoroughly disappointed. I used Cooler Master for everything, and this is my first bad experience.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent cheap fan, though louder than expected

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Nice LEDs that aren't too obnoxious.
Pushes quite a bit of air through the case

Cons: Cheaply made.
Fairly loud, definitely not "silent" as advertised

Other Thoughts: It makes a good cheap fan, and if you don't mind noise then it'll be worth the price of admission for air flow. Though beware it is cheaply made. Personally I'll be moving on to a more expensive and less horrifyingly loud fan.

3 out of 5 eggsMeh...

This review is from: Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 - Sleeve Bearing 120mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Moves pretty good amount of air, and the LEDs look nice.

Cons: Cheap build quality, somewhat noisy

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for, and this $10 fan works, but is cheaply built and really nothing special. It can move an average amount of air, and is not quiet. After a month of owning it started making squeaking noises when i game. If you really are that cheap, buy it, but I would spend another 5 bucks to get a good corsair fan.
