3 out of 5 eggsNot so silent

Pros: Moves good air.

Cons: The only way I could call this silent is if I lived over a bowling alley. I finally had to unplug.

Other Thoughts: Installed as a case fan on a nMIDIAPC HTPC 6000B case.

4 out of 5 eggsGood while it lasted

Pros: good air flow, low noise (for the most part)

Cons: one has started grinding when I start up my computer

Other Thoughts: I bought 2 of these in December 2012 and they have worked excellently until the last few months where one of the two has started making a loud grinding noise when I start up my computer after shutting off for a while. The specs say that the fan is supposed to last 50,000 hours and the bad fan started making that noise at no more than 20% of that advertised lifespan. These fans are pretty good for the price, but I am going to replace it with another brand of fan with a much better warranty.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor Results

Pros: Not overly expensive.

Cons: This 69 CFM fan not seem to push any more air than the 50 CFM 120mm fan it replaced. It has been in use less than a month and already makes a rattling noise and has vibration like a worn out fan.

Other Thoughts: Disappointing product. Find another alternative. I have it installed horizontally because that is how I need to use it. In a vertical position the rattling and vibration goes away. That doesn't do me any good because I cannot use it in a vertical position.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsNice fans

Pros: Good airflow and pressure.

I got these for some radiators in my new liquid cooling loop. I've got two in push-pull on a 120mm rad and they push through a lot of air. I've got another three pushing through a 360mm radiator and they still get a surprising amount air through. The fin density is fairly low, but the radiator is also very thick. They're set at ~60% or so with a controller.

Cons: I ordered eight and two of them produce a bit of a whining sound above 8 volts, but that's where they start to get loud anyway. It's just that the sound of more air whooshing through is something I can deal with if I need the airflow, but I can't stand the sound these ones make.

Not a deal-breaker. I get that if a fan is both cheap and high airflow / pressure, something has to give. Just buy an extra one or two if you're buying lots of them.

1 out of 5 eggsSo loud!

Pros: Moves nice volume of air

Cons: It is so loud it sounds like the case is getting ready to take off with 2 of these in it!

Other Thoughts: Won't buy it again, may be "cooler master" but "noise master" would be better choice. Even at this price it is NOT a deal! Unless you like a constant HHMMMMMMhhhhmmmmmhHHHMMMMMMMhhhhmmmmmHHHHMMMMMMhhhhmmmmmmHHHHHHMMMM!!!!!!

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsCoolMaster SickleFlow 120mm

Pros: --Really quiet, I mean, it's really quiet
--Affordable (under $10.00 USD)

Cons: --Could use longer 3-pin wires. If you're using this as a front 120mm fan pusher, I recommend buying a 3-pin wire extension.

Other Thoughts: Great fan and buy for those looking for a quiet case fan. If your a cheap case fan buyer (like me) and looking for no-noise fans, this is the fan for you.

People that rate this fan as loud really needs to get their ears checked out. It's really quiet.

Just don't expect great cooling capability and CFM from this unit.

4 out of 5 eggsshort cord

Pros: it moves air pretty well. im using this particular one for an exhaust fan in rear of case.

Cons: not silent. it hums, but its not dead silent. also the power cord is kinda short for reaching the fan headers on my mobo. only 10" cord. luckily it does come with a molex adapter plug to integrate it into the main harness.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet

Pros: Quality, comes with screws, three pin fan

Cons: don't move as much air as I expected them too

Other Thoughts: I bought these for a new build, the case has a fan at top front and back but none on the door. I bought these to pull air into the case and blow over the video card, single card now but I might go sli in the future. Easy to install just remember that label sucks air and motor mount (you can tell) blows air, there are often arrows on the fan that indicate direction air moves as well, if these have it I didn't spot it on the fan. I'm using a fan controller temperature monitor gadget and these are hooked into a Y adapter before being plugged into the monitor.
