1 out of 5 eggsExtremely loud

Pros: A lot of air flow, fan moves very smooth when not on.

Cons: It vibrates and it was the loudest thing you could hear from the case when it was installed. I could feel the vibration from my case and could hear it thirty feet away. Installing rubber feet on it didn't even help it.

Other Thoughts: Not going to send for a replacement, and I'm most likely not going to buy another Cool Master fan. I've bought plenty of other case fans that didn't have any problems. This was the first Cool Master case fan I bought and it made a terrible first impression.

3 out of 5 eggsnot a true replacement for v8

Pros: Smooth and quite. Good airflow.

Cons: WELL miss leading info.

"Power Connector 3 to 4 pin Adapter" 3 pin yes, 4 pin NO only mole x connector...

MISS LEADING AGAIN! seeing as there is no 4 pin that comes with it for bios fan control. Not the best fan for the job. Pules you cant use the v8's fan control dial with this fan.

"Recommended for V10, V8, Hyper 212, Hyper Z600, Gemini, Cosmos, Cosmos S, HAF 932, HAF 922, CM Storm Scout and Sniper." NOT v8 not truly. Others no idea.

Blades are weak and flimsy.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet.

Pros: These are quite and really move some air.
I bought two of these to replace the fans on a Coolermaster Hyper 212, for a push-pull configuration.

They wend on the Coolermaster like a charm.
I just used the extra mounting hardware that came with the Coolermaster. I reused the mounting hardware from the fan that originally came with the cooler.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: By adding two fans to my Coolermast 212 I dropped about 5 degrees Celsius. I was running about 35C (95F) idle with one fan. I cleaned my HSF, reapplied some thermal paste (Arctic Silver 5), and added the two fans and my idle temps dropped to 31C(87F).

My ambient room temperature is around 23C(75 F).

My Setup:
Case: HAF 932
Fans:
+ 1X 140mm rear case fan
+ 2X 240mm side and top case fan
Heatsink: Coolermast Hyper 212+
Processor: Core i7 920 @ 2.8Ghz
RAM: 12Gb Kinstom 1333Mhz CAS 9
Graphics: 1x Nvidia 550Ti
Power Supply: SeaSonic X Series X650 Gold

2 out of 5 eggsNot quite what they say it is.

Pros: They spin and make wind. Flow is good.

Cons: When they are rated these at 19 db they must be in open air, sitting on a cussion on a table with the pickup 20 feet away. These things are LOUD!!!! Basically what I'm saying is that they are maybe 23 db at half speed and full speed is just obnoxious for a supposed quiet fan. Low speed 4 out of the 6 make bearing noise that is quiet annoying.

Other Thoughts: The only cooler master product that I have ever owned that i have been disappointed with. I'm currently looking to replace these fans. Very unhappy that a fan rated at 19 db is louder at low speed than my my old fans that were rated at 23 at full speed.

4 out of 5 eggsNice and Fast. Kinda loud.

Pros: It's fast, and it works.

Cons: Kinda loud: See "other thoughts"

Other Thoughts: This fan is rated at 19db, and that is true or false depending on how you have them faced. I have two of these set up, one blowing in and one blowing out. The one blowing out I'd consider less than 19 db, but the one blowing into my case sounds like a mini-vacuum. If you use these solely to get air out of the case, the noise is barely noticeable.

Want quiet? Blow out.

1 out of 5 eggsThe fan is a lie.

Pros: The fans to move the advertised 69cfm.

Cons: The advertised 19 dBA is a completely bogus claim. I installed these fans and they spun up like jet engines. I would say they are closer to 45-55 dBA. Ridiculous and saddening experience.

Other Thoughts: Don't want my HTPC to sound like an air show. Getting refund.

2 out of 5 eggsFan sounds like a Jet engine after two years

Pros: Good air flow, quiet at first

Cons: After two years it gradually got louder and louder and now it sounds like a combustion engine.
