Not so quiet
- Pros: Good price. Looks good. Moves a lot of air.
- Cons: It was whisper quiet out of the box, but after a few days of use it began making increasing amounts of noise. After a few weeks it is now every bit as noisy as a normal fan.
Awesome Fan!
- Pros: It looks great! I put it in the front of my new raidmax smilodon extreme black case (I got them at the same time) because the fan in the front of the smilodon has blue fins and it just didnt look right with a black/green case. It has a 3 pin connector and a 4 pin adapter, and the wires are plenty long enough. I cut them down so I could get a nice clean look in my case because there was more then enough.
- Cons: Not much of a con, but the blades on the fan are sort of a see through smoke color, not a true black, but in the front of my case it sits behind a black mesh screen so it still looks awesome, oh, and the silver sticker in the middle looked tacky so I took it off.
- Other Thoughts: I will be buying another one for the back of the case. I wanted to see what it was like before buying two, and it was the perfect fan, so I will get another.
Awesome fan
- Pros: Moves a good amount of air, one of the quietest LED fans I have ever used. 3 pin connection for direct connect to motherboard. LED is bright enough to look good, but not blind me.
- Cons: Not quite as quiet as I had hoped (package says 19db, but they are noticeably louder then the 19db Akasa fans I have in another system in the same room.
- Other Thoughts: These are definitely my new favorite for system building. Finally a good balance of a quite fan with an LED that doesn't blind, and doesn't sound like a jet engine.
