5 out of 5 eggsGood cooler

Pros: Keeps processor cool, Quiet, Does not cost that much compared to other coolers.

Includes provisions for 2nd fan for a push / pull setup.

Cons: 1. 2nd fan not included.
2. Large size made installing a ram cooler not possible.

Other Thoughts: Good cooler for a basic build. For the $20 this cooler cost after rebate you really cant go wrong.

4 out of 5 eggsBest bang for buck cooler on the market

Pros: This cooler is really awesome for the price. I added an extra fan I had lying around but it had no effect, still the cooling it gives is impressive for the price.

Cons: No cons at this time. Solid performer for value

Other Thoughts: Seeing as how the evo on newegg is a newer better version of the 212+ and is actually the same price, I would go with the evo. This isn't the fault of cooler master as the 212+ is usually 5$ cheaper than the evo, but more-so an oversight on behalf of newegg. Still, I bought this elsewhere for the right price so I can't complain. If you're looking for higher end air cooling get the Noctua or the Phanteks. Those things are beastly.

4 out of 5 eggsFairly Loud but does it's job

Pros: Keeps my i5-2500k very cool even at 4.4GHz

Cons: Is fairly loud and large, even in a mid case.

2 out of 5 eggsThe devil's in the details.

Pros: Affordable and effective... Even though I can't get my full use out of it yet!

Cons: QC missed a spot back at their facility and shipped me this large tease of a HSF combo. Turns out one of the screws on the retention plate (x-shaped mounting bracket) is bent. The screw hasn't been fully tapped and is bent in two spots; just above the threads and after the spring retaining clip.

Working on getting it replaced. If they toss me a new retention plate without having me ship their faulty one first, I'll be content.

Other Thoughts: I ran Prime95 on a 4Ghz O/Cd i2500K on a ASRock Z68 Extreme 3 Gen 3 board for a second... It didn't take long to figure out something was wrong when the stock HSF supplied by Intel was cooling it better.

I would recommend looking out for this problem for new buyers, as this batch of bad screws could be out there... Somewhere.

5 out of 5 eggsCools good, allowed for great OC

Pros: -affordable
-fits many socket types
-Cools very well, I was able to OC my phenom 2 x4 B55 to 4.1 GHz with temps around 51 Celsius. Giving me a 35% increase in performance based on benchmark scores.
With this cooler, my phenom 2 is faster than a stock fx-4300.

Cons: -very large
-somewhat difficult to install

4 out of 5 eggsSolid product

Pros: Keeps cool, included fan is quiet.

Cons: Needs better instructions. YouTube the videos, there are small things that make it easier that should have been explained with product. Mine would not be pleased till I grabbed it the wrong way and it got a blood sacrifice. We're blood brothers now and my PC might evolve with human DNA attached. Sorry if I made Skynet happen.

Other Thoughts: Unit is large, but also helps move air through our case keeping everything cool. I only deduct the one egg for lack of instructions, otherwise I recommend this to people even if they are not overclocking.

5 out of 5 eggsamazing

Pros: got it 19 bucks. Keeps my fx-4100 OCed to 4.3 ghz super cool even under load. Mine is set up for push n pull... fits perfect in my carbide 400r case (with max case fans, with cpu cooler pushing air out the back of the case). For the price you can not beat this cooler.

Cons: thermal paste sucks dont use/you are better off figuring out how to install it on your own Coolermaster dropped the ball with the destruction's.

Other Thoughts: i hear problems with the fan....I haven't had that problem and I have had mine for about nine months.

my system:
fx 4100 oced to 4.3 ghz
gigabyte 990fxa-ud3
16 gigs 1333 adata ram
Corsairs carbide 400R case (4 x 140mm fans/6 x 120mm fans)
2 gtx 550ti's in sli
raidmax 850 gold 80+
corsairs force 3 120 gig ssd
2 500 gig sata 3 hdd's
coolermaster 212+ with 2 120mm fans for push n pull

5 out of 5 eggsGreat CPU Cooler

Pros: Probably the most cost effective CPU cooler known so far.

FX8350 never goes abot 45C. However it's summer now and the temps are rising a bit closer to 50C.

Cons: Not really a con, but really take time to measure and estimate where this thing will fit on your Mobo/inside case.

I was bummed to find out that I can't fit the Cooler to have the fan blowing towards the back. Now I have the fan blowing towards the top of the case.

DON'T USE THE THERMAL PASTE THAT COMES WITH THIS COOLER.

Other Thoughts: Doesn't matter if you spend a Million bucks on the fanciest cooler if you don't have proper airflow.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat cooler but rebates not

Pros: Great cooler. Quiet enough when idle. It keeps my overclocked Q9650 cool around 41C idle and probably 60C under load.
Installation can take a little longer depending on your system built and how big your heatsink RAM are nearby.

Cons: Got it back in january or february with rebate. Then rebate somehow was denied after long 3 or 4 months, saying retail/online store not valid.
When it comes to rebates, Cooler Master tries really hard not to honor them.

Other Thoughts: It would not fit in most microATX cases mainly because of the size. Probably the best cooler for the money, if it fits in your PC case.
It can be loud sometimes if your case has lots of open space for ventilation (example: HAF 932 or 922).
Buy it for the functionality, and forget those horrible rebates.
