5 out of 5 eggsawesome

Pros: Awesome, Idle temps on my Athlon II 640 are down 10-12 degrees, running prime 95 now and so far no problems.

Cons: This Thing is freaking huge, I mean Ginormous.

Other Thoughts: way better than any stock or most aftermarket coolers. I mean I am sure there are some better, like the next model up but for the price, this can't be beat

5 out of 5 eggsBest budget cooler, hands down!

Pros: Cheap
Quiet
Effective
Easy to install
Going 3 years strong on my main pc

Cons: Slight defect on my latest one, little insulation pad on one of the feet of the cpu back-plate was missing/rubbed off.
Didn't bother me for my use, amd uses the other part of the back-plate.

Other Thoughts: Have one of these on my pc for about 3 years now.
Just added one to my spare pc the other night
AMD phenom ii x4 965 BE overclocked to 3.9GHZ
1.4vcore max
Maxed at 55c after 5 hours of prime95.
Just bought i5 4670k and am going to try the 212 evo this time :P

5 out of 5 eggsUnless you're going water-cooling, this is the best air cooler out there.

Pros: Cools EXTREMELY well. Not only for the price, just in general. Quiet. Easy to install. Accepts a 2nd fan. Works well for overclocking

Cons: Honestly? None.

Other Thoughts: I know this cooler has many reviews, but I have to say - I *LOVE* this thing. People say it's a good cooler, for the money. That's wrong. It's a good cooler PERIOD. I just flat out works well. They have the new version out, the EVO, but I've only seen 0-2 degrees difference with that one. IMO, this 212+ edition is the one to get. Can easily add a 2nd fan. I use this on a q9550 (the not so great C1 stepping version) and I have it OC'd from 2.83 to 3.61ghz. Not as large as some people but this cooler does perfectly well at that level. And that's with a GTX 295 video card right underneath it (probably in the top-5 list of the most power hungry, hottest running video cards ever made.) Continuous stress test benchmarks MIGHT push it to 65c, but in 'real' scenarios when gaming, working with CPU intensive apps, etc, it typically stays right in the mid 50's. Heck even if it DID get to 65 regularly on an OC, that's still doing pretty well for an air cooler. I could probably do 3.8ghz, MAYBE 4ghz on this cooler, but I don't like running it to the edge. Bottom line, if you're in the market for an air cooler, get this one. There are MANY options out there, some far more expensive. Even taking the cost factor out entirely, I'd still get this one. When you DO factor in cost, this one just KILLS the others. Here's the other thing to consider - once you go north of 50 bucks, you can get one of those pre-packaged water cooling units (which actually work pretty darn well.) So in my book that makes air coolers above 50 bucks completely null and void. Again, this is the one you want!

5 out of 5 eggsnice/easy and cool

Pros: easy to mount.
extra fan bracket included for max cooling push-pull which i needed.
much better performance (and cheaper) than the 9700 cooler from another manufacturer which i have several.

Cons: the directions made no sense but it is a simple design that was easy to figure out.
go to youtube if you need detailed install guidance.

Other Thoughts: may cover up the first memory slot.
the fan can be moved up slight which may allow some mid height performance memory to fit.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Heatsink

Pros: This heatsink is a very good bang for your buck. It keeps my i5 3570k oc'd to 4.3 ghz at around 30 degrees at idle and 60 under load. For 20 bucks, you really can't beat this thing's performance:price ratio.

Cons: The pre-included fan is a bit noisy.

Other Thoughts: If you're going to go for this heatsink, make sure that you have:
-a decently sized case (I'm using a Cooler Master HAF 912)
-RAM that's not too high profile (may interfere with the heatsink fan)

5 out of 5 eggsOver 2 Years Now and Still Strong

Pros: Well, I've had this Cooler on a Moderate Gaming Rig for over 2 years now and I have yet to have one single complaint. The fan is still running strong, I have not had one single issue with it so far. Nice and Quiet even under strong load. But, you can hear it if you get too close lol. No Matter what, this is the best for the money out there.

Cons: I guess quite a few. It didn't do my taxes this year and sucks at doing the laundry. Maybe a tad Tall?

Other Thoughts: For the money involved and quality you get for that money, this is a great deal. It is a little tall, but that isnt an issue if using a larger(or roomier) Box. All in all, good deal. Get one. Put it on a clock, that would be "cool" too.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This thing is quiet, sleek, and efficient. I have an i7 and replaced the stock cpu fan, it brought the average temperature down by about 10 degrees Celsius.

The installation process was quite straight forward.

Cons: You need a big case.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: This thing is amazing! Switching over from the stock heatsink that came with my FX-6300, My idle temps went from ~15c to ~9c. Gaming temps dropped from ~60c to ~30c! Absolutely amazing. For $25, you can't beat the value. Also, it's whisper quiet.

Cons: None that I can name.

5 out of 5 eggsUnbelievable!

Pros: CPU resting temps went from 45oC to 9oC! Performance of the CPU is enhanced and running great overclocked!

Cons: NONE!

Other Thoughts: I had to remove my motherboard to install the fan but it was worth it!
