5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Product.. does a good job cooling down the system

Pros: My cpu temps were going between 46-55 but after installing this product now down to 36. Very pleased with the product.. would only say to have 1-2 hours to install.. I had to remove the board to install the back piece and then rewire the case. But it was well worth it.

Cons: None so far.

5 out of 5 eggsA great heatsink

Pros: This heatsink keeps my 2500k running extremely cool all the time (sub 35 degrees playing swtor while installing other programs). I also like that you can add another fan to it for better cooling or change the position of the other fan so other components may fit.

Cons: It was a little bit of a hassle to install, but nothing too awful.

Other Thoughts: I really think this heatsink is worth the small investment. It runs extremely well and sets well with my motherboard. The only thing to be wary of is if it fits in your case or not. On my Antec nine hundred there's maybe 2cm of clearance.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Happy

Pros: This is only my second aftermarket cooler, even though I have built around 12 computers for myself and friends. The last aftermarket cooler I used was a big typhoon. This was a long time ago on a Precott P4 3.2. What i didn't like about this old cooler was the mounting hardware.

The mounting mechanism on this product however has completely changed my opinion of how an aftermarket cooler can work. The bracket mounts on to the board prior to the cooler needing to mount. So the cooler can come off and on while the mounting bracket stays in place.
The mounting mechanism provides a very positive attachment point. Cooling was around 37 - 54 with a 1366 type 930 quad core. The intel cooler stopped seating properly, and even though no pins were broken it allowed the processor to get over 80 degrees when pushing the processor.

Cons: No cons. Came with thermal paste, good, I could mount the cooler after the board was in place, good. The cooler isn't too big, good. The price is cheap, good. The performace was good. What's not to like

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for the money

Pros: Great thermal transfer, pulles the heat tight off your CPU. Right now i have this on a Pehnom 960T unlocked to 6 cores and clocked to 3.2 this pulles more voltage and therefor incraeses the CPU Temps, but this demon keeps her happy at about 20-25C on load. the price proformance ratio is the best on the market. Might get one for my backup computer or go for evo

Cons: none really, the warranty tag fell off during installation. Its metal tho not many moving parts so i'm not too worried. was unable to fit my 2133 sniper memory in the 1st slot. not enough clearance.

Other Thoughts: 120mm heatsink with 4 heatpipes and direct heatpipe termal tranfer makes your temps plumet. I put on a second fan for added performance. the heatsink for AM3+ build faces the top and bottom of the case, could be problematic for some.

4 out of 5 eggsEffective and Affordable

Pros: Quiet, moves a respectable amount of air, keeps CPU cooler than stock and far quieter.

Cons: Instructions aren't the best, but they are usable. Only real problem is that the pictograms are a bit smallish.

Other Thoughts: Compared to a the stock CPU cooler for my LGA775 this thing is freakishly large. But it works well and fits in the case (Antec 300) with plenty of room to spare. Currently CPU temp is 23c and I haven't seen it over 35c under load. Stocker used to run at 35 and went way overboard under load.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing bang 4 buck

Pros: This is one of the best bang 4 buck heatsinks out there. You can just tell by all the reviews.

I paid $20 for the thing and that pretty much beats any other heatsink out there for how it performs. You really cant go wrong with this heatsink. Keeps my non-oc'd 2500k @ 28-31C idle/normal use and that is with the fan at the lowest speed possible.

Works on most socket platforms as well which is great for compatibility.

Amazing value for $20.

Cons: - Maybe a little tall. I have a P182 and this heatsink is about an inch away from the door.

- The heatsink, like many others in this category is fairly big and the fan will block the memory socket closest to CPU on many motherboards, be aware of that. It does not affect me since I only run 8GB, but if I ran 16GB it would force me to have to move the FAN up or there would be no way it would fit.

- The fan on the EVO version is slightly better but who cares, the EVO also costs more.

None of the above things would warrant taking any ratings away though.

Pros: Very easy install on Gigabyte 990 board, great hardware, and a fair price for what you get.

Cons: Not really a con but be shure to read the instruction,s until you understand the install, it will save problems later.also it is a tall cooler double check the fit in your case

Other Thoughts: One of the best quality built products i have used in years

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Heatsink

Pros: It is absolutely fantastic, I'm using IC diamond 24 Carat thermal paste with this, and it's fabulous. I haven't broken 45C under 24 hours of load with Prime95.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ROOM IN THE CASE, it's HUGE.

5 out of 5 eggsKeeps things cool

Pros: So far so good. Keeps my i5 2500k around 45-50C at 100% load stock clocking. Also, My ASRock Extreme 4 Gen 3 has room for This cooler and 4 sticks of Vengeance ram.

Cons: Was a little tricky installing but not so tricky to remove an egg.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Keeps my i5-2500k running nice and cool between 35c-45c under stress. That is with my 2500k OCed to 4.5ghz. Idle temps seem to be between 25c-35c. This is my first aftermarket cooler and I couldn't be happier with the performance.

Cons: A little big. Almost blocked me from using 4 sticks of ram. Thought ahead though and bought the G.Skill Sniper series ram which has a low profile and barely fit. Not enough to take an egg away though.

Other Thoughts: i5-2500k @ 4.5GHz

EVGA GTX 560 ti
