Pros: Not as massive as my previous cooler, yet much better at it's job. Upgrade-able if you add another fan.

Other Thoughts: Wouldn't recommend for slim type cases as it needs room to breathe.

Pros: Keeps idle temps on an overclocked 100 watt CPU around 33 Celsius at full load while remaining totally silent.

Cons: Very tall cooler, had to modify the case to fit it.

Pros: Great CPU cooler.
Easy to install on any motherboard. With great instructions.
Comes with a second set of mounts for another 120mm to be installed which I highly recommend.

Cons: It is really tall. The four heatpipes jet out and touch the side panel the mid tower it was installed in.
Due to its large size it can sit close/over top of the RAM cards depending on your motherboards form factor

Other Thoughts: Highly recommend to all. Make sure your tower/case is the proper height before purchasing.

Pros: This fan is a beast.....fixed my overheating issue with my FX 8350. Easy install and super quiet

Pros: I have an older Core 2 Quad Q6600 overclocked to 3ghz. Idle temp is around 32C and never goes over mid 40's under load. It is also MUCH quieter than my previous CPU cooler, which was over 40db. This one is actually quieter than most of my case fans! Also purchased the same fan that it came with for push/pull setup but need a splitter or fan controller to get it going.

Setup was actually pretty easy but I spent more time trying to figure out the picture instructions than I needed to, like most instructions. Very few words to describe what you need to do.

Excellent price point at 20 after rebate, plus 12 for additional matching fan.


UPDATE: Moved to a beastly Xeon-based setup in 2013 using socket 2011. This cooler was not originally designed for the 2011 but lo and behold, they began offering an adapter kit on updated models. Even better, they retroactively support the socket even if you purchased the cooler prior to socket 2011 support. I just sent them proof of purchase and they shipped me out the adapter free of charge. Now that gets you customer loyalty! This cooler continued to manhandle the cooling needs of the new Xeon.

Cons: Even after tightening completely, you can physically rotate the heat sink a tad. It has a tiny little rod that fits in a tiny little groove to prevent this, but there is some slop - not that you will be reaching in there and moving things around.

Heatsink and fan combo is gigantic and just barely fit in my older case where the side fan is not positioned directly across from the CPU.

If your case does not have a hole behind your motherboard relative to where your CPU is located, you will have to take your motherboard out to mount the rear bracket. I have an older case so this was something I had to do. Was able to get it on there without completely removing the mobo and disconnecting anything.

Other Thoughts: My girlfriend will love me for getting rid of that obnoxious jet engine fan I had in there before, since this one is in my bedroom, and it looks like I will be getting as good or better cooling from this one. Cooler Master, you are my hero!

Other Thoughts: I used this on my i7 2600k cpu and was able to OC to 4.6ghz with no problem. Temps maxed in the mid 70s running Prime 95, but in the 60s during gaming. I changed the fan though. It does the job and I'd recommend it to those looking for an inexpensive, yet, well capable air cooling solution. Note: If you really want to get those temps down, then water cooling is the ticket.

Pros: Very nice price range for the cooling capabilities. I know they have a newer version but I decided to stick with the tried and true.
