When ultra-high performance coolers demand additional performance, count on Blade Master PWM fan series to increase cooling efficiency. Blade Master offers a balance of high air pressure with balanced airflow and minimal noise levels. With the Blade Master family of 120mm, 92mm, and 80mm fans, unique wave-form blades create increased pressure that exceeds competitor fans at the same airflow. The highest air pressure allows Blade Master fans to blow directly through dense performance heat sinks for extreme cooling.

  • newegg High Performance Featuring distinguished wave-shaped blades, the COOLER MASTER R4-BM9S-28PK-R0 provides up to 4.27 mmH2O of air pressure that triumphs over competitors at the same air flow for better cooling performance.
  • newegg Silent Operation The PWM fan with adjustable fan speed ranging from 800 - 2800 R.P.M guarantees the best ratio between performance and noise level. The anti-vibration rubber pads around the edges dampen noise for more quiet operation.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it should

Pros: Cheap
PWM (4-pin)
Seems Silent enough, i cant hear anything

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Bought it as an exhaust for a simple M-ATX build for my mom. does what it needs to, helps air move through the case,

2 out of 5 eggsNot impressed

Pros: Seemed fine for some time. It's a fan. Replacement of OEM fan in home-built shuttle pc for my parents.

Cons: The bearing is a screaming banshee now after only two years' moderate use (no gaming or intensive app usage) and fan speed has been voltage-controlled through the BIOS, so it's not like it was sitting at 100% all the time.

Other Thoughts: Compare this piece of trash to the old 120mm Zalman CPU fan/heatsink my buddy FOUND IN A FREE PILE ON THE STREET during one of the e-waste collection days. I've been using THAT thing on my daily-used LGA 775-based rig for going on 4-5 years now. Locked at max speed. Every day. For gaming. Shame on you, Coolermaster.

Manufacturer Response:

3 out of 5 eggsLasted about 2 years

Pros: Did its job for 22 months. Quiet.

Cons: In the 23rd month, the fan is starting to fail. It has become VERY loud, and no amount of cleaning has remedied the problem. Time for a new one.

4 out of 5 eggsruns slower than rated

Pros: -Cheap
-has pwm
-quiet
-decent static pressure

Cons: -does not run at rated speed, runs at 2200rpm at 100%, instead of the 2800rpm

Other Thoughts: I have two of these on my nvidia gtx 470. They are plugged into a pwm splitter that plugs directly into the video card for fan control. Does an excellent job of keeping much cooler, while at the same time being much quieter than the original blower that was on the card!

5 out of 5 eggstx3

Pros: Works well with the fan that comes with the hyper tx3.
Cooler master is an awesome company.

Cons: Wish the tx3 just came with the second fan, rather than having to spend an extra $11. :(.

Other Thoughts: Have a tx3 and want push/pull? Get this fan!

5 out of 5 eggsStill spinning (and cooling) after a year

Pros: Good airflow

Cons: Loud (But given its high RPM for such a small fan this is expected)

Other Thoughts: Does exactly what I want it too. Works in conjunction with a second fan attached to a Hyper TX3 to cool an i5 processor and does it well.

4 out of 5 eggsFairly quiet

Pros: Good for a push/pull configuration. Fairly quiet, easy install.

Cons: Price is a touch high for a 92mm, but it was worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome fans

Pros: Blow A LOT of air.
Quite below 1800-2000 RPMS

Cons: Pretty loud at full speed but not enough to take an Egg off.

Other Thoughts: I bought these to replace the two fans on a Cooler Master N520 as an upgrade (4pin and better CFM). While they work great keeping my QX6700 cool, they can be kind of noisy at full blast. I'm OK with that, but these might be better as case fans if your worried about noise.

3 out of 5 eggsLOUD

Pros: Moves a great deal of air for a 92mm fan. 4 pin hookup is also nice if your mobo supports monitoring and speed adjustments.

Cons: Unfortunately if your mobo doesn't support the 4 pin connector it is very loud at 12V and 2000+ RPM.

Other Thoughts: The only sound to be heard is the "whoosh" of the air. There is no annoying whining or any other noises though. Just the sound of the air moving is very audible. Tried speedfan but my mobo is a few years old and didn't support it.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear valued customer,
I'm very sorry for the troubles you're encountering. Most motherboards with a 3-pin connection allows you to manually control the speeds of a connected fan. I would check with your motherboard documentation or support resources to see if your motherboard is capable of doing this. Please contact us if you need any support regarding the fan itself via tickets or live chat :)

Regards,
