5 out of 5 eggsPerfection

This review is from: Cooler Master MegaFlow 200 - Sleeve Bearing 200mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases

Pros: Totally silent. Nice subdued LED's. Terrific cooling.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I ordered these to fill the 200mm slots in my Thermaltake Overseer case. I mounted one on the top and the other on the side panel and they've performed flawlessly ever since. I wasn't looking forward to my PC lighting up my whole room at night, but the LEDs in these are noticeable but dim enough not to be overpowering.

It was hard to find a good fan that would fit since 200mm is a bit of an off size, but I'm completely satisfied with these.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Good. Only 1 problem

This review is from: Cooler Master MegaFlow 200 - Sleeve Bearing 200mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases

Pros: Moves a ton of air.
Looks good.

Cons: Needed proper screws for my case.

Other Thoughts: Would have been nice if Cooler Master included the mounting screws needed for the top mounting on a HAF-X case. I bought this specifically for the purpose as a 2nd fan in the top of my case. I can't really yell about this too much as Cooler Master has no idea what I was going to use it for. Still 4 of those fan screws for the HAF-X would have been nice,

5 out of 5 eggsImpressively cool fan

This review is from: Cooler Master MegaFlow 200 - Sleeve Bearing 200mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases

Pros: Even using the 12v power this fan is super quiet, 19-20dB seems about accurate. I saw no reason to use the 3-pin connector to throttle down the rpms; it runs at full speed and cools the entire system in power saving mode. I've got other case fans but they are too loud and cannot blow this much air. Bright blue LEDs at full power.

Cons: Blue LED looks kinda silly in the 200mm top mount, also they are so bright the light leaks out the side panels of my case.

Other Thoughts: Now, if the HAF 912 had a 200mm side panel to cool my graphics cards that would be awesome.

5 out of 5 eggsNeeded some good ole fashion modding.

This review is from: Cooler Master MegaFlow 200 - Sleeve Bearing 200mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases

Pros: Great airflow.
Beautiful bright blue LED's.
Nice and silent.

Cons: The fan did not fit on my Antec 900 case......But i am a computer tech so little bit of elbow grease and basic kindergarten glue knowledge worked like a charm.

Other Thoughts: The Antec 900 has a 200mm fan on the top of the chassis. I currently own the first revision model of the case which included the 2.0 USB Panel (Not USB 3.0). The fan size that the my unit takes is the older oval based models not the newer square 200mm fan model.

3 out of 5 eggsmoves air

This review is from: Cooler Master MegaFlow 200 - Sleeve Bearing 200mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases

Pros: Moves Air
Lights up
their screws fit mostly
Quiet, as advertised.

Cons: Fatter (in every direction) than my original case fans which made some very tight fits.
Moves far less air than advertised/anticipated

Other Thoughts: it works but my original case fans move more air without nose and were $10 cheaper, should have just gotten more of those. Probably going to stick to Corsair fans next time I need to add more case fans.

4 out of 5 eggsblow blow blow your boat

This review is from: Cooler Master MegaFlow 200 - Sleeve Bearing 200mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases

Pros: very bright led
comes with molex adapter if needed

Cons: doesn't feel as though it moves at much air as the antec big boy 200mm which i have in my nine hundred.

Sleeve bearing

Other Thoughts: moves plenty of air, just not as much as antec big boy. If you have a cooler master case, this might be the only thing that fits it.

4 out of 5 eggsMade for HAF

This review is from: Cooler Master MegaFlow 200 - Sleeve Bearing 200mm Blue LED Silent Fan for Computer Cases

Pros: Two of these went into a HAF 912 perfectly, and run dead silent. Besides the 120mm exhaust fan the case came with, there's only these and a 14cm side fan (with a SilverStone dust filter - the HAF 912 filters all other intakes) as far as case cooling goes. A 4790K CPU (with a 912 EVO) and R9 270X GPU, etc. just don't get hot in there. It quietly does the job even when editing and converting video files. Silence and performance = having my cake and eating it too.

Cons: Like most makes, these come with chrome-colored screws. Cooler Master themselves mostly puts out black cases, and a simple but nice asthetic touch is to not draw attention to the fan's mounting screws. They should package these with black screws. What would it cost 'em? A few pennies?

Other Thoughts: The HAF 912 came with braces that fit perfectly in the front 20cm fan. You can see it's intended to receive one of these there in most assemblies. If you order a HAF 912, don't hesitate to get at least one Cooler Master 20cm fan too.
