5 out of 5 eggsCPU Thermal Paste

Pros: 200 Grams......Wow Plenty!!!
Does a Good Job

Cons: A little messy if you are not careful. You have to use a good cleaner to remove it. It is best to find a plastic syringe that has a cap on the end. I found one online easily on my favorite shopping site. I was able to put about half of the paste inside and keep it sealed. The price of these are very inexpensive so I ordered two just to have a spare or to use in a technician travel kit.

Be sure to use protective gloves (painter's gloves) and use a small blade like a screwdriver to load the syringe. Once it is loaded, simply keep the syringe in a heavy duty zip lock bag (like a freezer bag for durable storage).

Once you have it in the syringe, it only takes just a small dab in the middle of the CPU. Be sure to not apply to much paste. The heat from the CPU will make it spread so think conservatively so the paste does not run too far from the center.

4 out of 5 eggsBottomless

Pros: Great Thermal transfer, equal to Arctic Silver Alumina at a fraction of the price. Just a ridiculous amount of TIM here. I Love It.

Cons: NO APPLICATOR, but thats nothing really if your buying this quantity you probably have some. I do remember still a year later that the container leaked in shipping though so beware.

Other Thoughts: I checked a lot of TIM reviews before choosing the IceFusion, I can live with a degree or 2 of difference if it saves me a ton of money.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Doesn't solidify quickly like the standard gray stuff.

Cons: Definately messy, but if you use a stiff q-tip it makes application easy, just paint it and squish the parts together.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Work on laptops and desktops all the time for friends, family, and coworkers. A lot of overheating problems sometimes just needs a little thermal paste. This was a great deal!!! Sure beats 12 dollars for a few ounces, and all the devices I've used it on are working fine.

Cons: None so far

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: A lot of paste for your money. This came in weighing just under a pound!

Cons: No spreader and when compared to the other pasts available on the market it is not the best of the best. It runs my processor about 9c hotter than Glied but that paste is also $3 a gram.

Other Thoughts: 4 out of 5 only for the performance. This is great for shops like mine where we see a lot of cured thermal paste causing overheats. It would be far better with a spreader but that is just a suggestion.

4 out of 5 eggsCream Cheese

Pros: You probably already know why this is a good deal. 200g of paste for less than 10 cents/gram. That reminds me of that Mitch Hedberg joke selling single cans of pop on the street.

Anywho, this stuff is much less irritating to remove and reapply than the thicker goopy Arctic Silver 5 stuff, which yeah it works great but I don't care for how difficult that stuff can be to get off a CPU. Ice Fusion never seems to dry out on me, even if I leave the can open.

As long as the heatsink sits flat against the processor and no air gaps, you're good to go with this stuff.

Cons: Since its not in syringe form, I'm the kind of weirdo that uses scrap cardboard fashioned into an applicator.

Kind of how Haagen-Dazs can put spoons into the lid of a cup of icey cream, the same idea would work really well for thermal paste. Just don't try to spread it on your bagels in the morning unless you care to taste liquid metallic ceramic

Other Thoughts: One 200 gram tub at work in an RMA lab, at least 3-4 video card fansink applications per day for the last 2 years. Yeah, once you get to the very bottom of the tub its time to reorder.

5 out of 5 eggsWill last you forever

Pros: Works just as well as the ceramic artic silver variant. Buy a syringe and you can probably refill it well over a thousand times.

Cons: none
