4 out of 5 eggsIt fits!

Pros: - Fits great where I needed it to
- Moves a fair bit of air even at lower rpms

Cons: - Pretty loud especially if you let it run at full speed
- Would be nice to have a longer cable

Other Thoughts: I wanted this to go on the right side panel of a cm690 II. It fits well there. It is specifically recommended for this application so a longer cable would have been nice to give me a bit more flexibility in where I can plug it in on the motherboard.

2 out of 5 eggsMoves very little air, honestly

Pros: Very quiet, even at full speed.

Cons: Moves so little air as to seem ineffective.

Other Thoughts: Quiet design does move some air, but if you're cooling requirements are at all substantial, you need more airflow than this.

5 out of 5 eggsSlim and quiet

Pros: 15mm thick, good plastic, super quiet.
I mean, so quiet that you have to be in a room with no ambient noise at all to MAYBE hear it.
Also, the airflow is decent.

Cons: None. Buy these if you need 80mm with no LED's.

Other Thoughts: Cooler Master has improved their quality over the years.

I used these to replace old Cooler Masters that were 25mm in the front of a 2004 case that is a server now. The thinner 15mm make room for a cushion of air between the fans and my hard drives.

5 out of 5 eggsFastest fan and smallest fan I've seen

Pros: It's a very think fan which saves space and plus it's so silent and extreme air flow like a blow dryer.

Cons: None

4 out of 5 eggsCools fine, hard plastic

Pros: Reasonably quiet. Once you turn the sound on you won't hear it. Cools well.

Cons: Instead of the usual sorta soft, grey plastic, this is a really hard shiny, black plastic. No big deal, except that it's a PITA to get the screws in! I tried the ones in the case and the ones that came with it and still couldn't hand crank them more than 3/4 of the way. I finally resorted to running a Phillips bit in a drill at low speeds to get them all the way in. I've NEVER had to do that for a fan before.

Other Thoughts: If you want complete silence then this fan may not be for you, but seriously, turn on the tv, start a game, whatever and you will never notice it. Only time you'll hear it is when it's dead silent in the place. I'd have given it 5 eggs if the plastic hadn't been so danged hard.

5 out of 5 eggsGets the job done

Pros: Only 15mm fan I could find that could replace a similar dead ATX power supply fan; nothing else would fit inside. Now this old power supply is back up & running again.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I know I'm not using it as intended, but that's fine; as long as it works, I'm happy and satisfied wit it.

3 out of 5 eggsWhat is this thing made of?!

Pros: -Fairly quiet
-Good airflow for a low noise fan

Cons: -The material it's made out of! See other thoughts.

Other Thoughts: OK, this fan is a good fan and Cooler Master is a pretty good brand. The issue I had, with both the included screws and the ones in the case, is that they would only go so far and stop. The difficulty getting them in took off 2 whole eggs for me.

It's made out of a glossy black material rather than the standard matte finish most fans have. It's also a harder material. While I've had to put a little extra oomph when tightening a fan screw with a screwdriver, I've never had to break out a power tool. This one made me do so.

I finally put my phillips head bit in my cordless drill, put a block of plastic behind the fan and every so lightly hold the trigger while pushing to keep it from routing out the screw. Finally got them in and, well, at least it's not going anywhere!

5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: The best fan I find that would fit in the Haf X 942 GPU holder. Silent. This along with 12 other fans and the water 2.0 extreme keep my all my temps average below 27 at idol and below 40 at full load

Cons: Wish it moved more air but for 15mm thickness it does pretty well.

Other Thoughts: Haf X 942 case
