Pros: Compact Size

Cons: The plastic pins that hold the heatsink down broke. I had to buy bolts, nuts and plastic washers in order to use the heatsink.
It's sad to see cost cutting ruin a potentially good heatsink.

Other Thoughts: Prepare to buy some bolts.

Pros: Looks hefty and seems like it might work well... but I haven't got to try it yet because the plastic push ping broke.

Cons: Apparently the plastic push pins are very weak and are not able to withstand the mounting of the heatsink. I was screwing down the heatsink to the metal clip and then one of the push pins flew out. One of the 2 stubs at the bottom of the push pin that spreads out and latch onto the underside of the motherboard broke. So a computer I was hoping to build and finish by tonight will have to wait maybe another week or so since I have to request a replacement from Cooler Master. They should just include an extra 1-2 of those push pins to avoid the headaches if this happens so often...

Other Thoughts: I can't recommend this product at this point. I was looking for a cheap and good heatsink as the CPU I have didn't come with one. If you do buy this, don't screw the heatsink on too tight or the push pins will break. Problem is that it didn't seem like it was too tight...

Pros: Cheap, mounted on an FX4350, a phenom X6 and an intel i5 using supplied hardware. no cooling issues. Quieter than the "hair dryer" cooler that came with the FX cpus.

Cons: Touches heat spreader on the new ripjaws RAM on the older Phenom rig. But not the FX or intel rig. I think it's just the Board/RAM combo not worth knocking an egg off.

I hate the way the stamped steel lever looks.

Other Thoughts: The Cooler Master GeminII S524 Ver 2 is way better if you have the room and want a top down type cooler, costs 20 bucks more.

Pros: works better than the stock 125 watt amd cpu heat sink and the fan doesn't make my pc sound like it will take flight like the stock amd 125 watt heat sink. it increases the value of my pc as it looks nice in there. as stated above it isn't that loud.

Cons: it has a lack of mounting options for amd and the two piece bar that holds it to the cpu heat sink mount can be annoying at times.

Other Thoughts: works great. for those who have problems, it is simple. buy an amd cpu it is cheaper than intel and amd doesn't use plastic pins or potentially damaging screws. if your a gamer i have noticed that amd seems to run nearly every game smoother than an intel (i used to use intel and hate their cpu's now due to never ending issues i had with them such as running games slow or crashing alot overclocked or not). this unit keeps my amd fx 6100 at 65 C at max load @ 4.7 GHz. the stock amd cpu cooler for the fx 8350 with the 5k rpm fan (used for all 125 watt models) could not keep my 95 watt cpu cool no matter what thermal paste i used and how much i used. very impressed with this little unit.

Pros: Couldn't agree more that this is an excellent cooler, especially for the price. I've had a Cooler Master TX3 and a Zalman CNPS9900A on my AMD 8320 and neither could keep the beast below 10 degrees C of the case temperature under normal idle loads. This cooler is keeping my cpu at or below case temp while being quieter than both when running at around 1200 rpm. It has knocked 15 degrees off the cpu temp along with lowering the motherboard temp through it's top down design. CPU is running about 34 C at idle. Happy camper, here.

Cons: Not that great at extreme stress with Prime95 as temp rose to 70 C after about 10 minutes, but that was max.

Pros: The cpu cooler works very well. Don't listen to all these people in the comments about the plastic pins. They aren't easy to brake at all and it went very well for me. It was my first time building a pc and installation was very easy

Pros: Tower cooler features in a horizontal design. Less stress on the motherboard. Great cooler.

Cons: A bit difficult to get on, with the hang over. But with perseverance, you can do it and it will be WORTH IT!

Other Thoughts: All those broken pin comments, blame Intel for that design, notoriously ridiculous design, to make the cooler virtually snap on as a permanent fixture to your motherboard. It's a mess. Don't blame Cooler Master, place the blame where it belongs, on INTEL. You bought it, now live with the consequences of your purchase choice.

Pros: I've overclocked my fx6300 to 4.3GHz and it maxes out at about 60 degrees with this cooler.

Cons: I got it through a third-party retailer other than newegg and they took their sweet time getting it to me, not a big deal.

Pros: Cools a bit better than the stock AMD 939 cooler. Took off six degrees celsius.
Has a nice L shape that allows it to go over the top of other motherboard components instead of hitting them.

Cons: The bracket provided for 939 sockets doesn't apply nearly enough pressure. The brackets provided for 775 sockets are great (if you're very careful not to break the plastic pins) but there's no instructions on how much to tighten down the screw. You just have to guess. Tighten it too little and contact might not be good enough. Tighten it too much and the plastic mounts will break, or you might even damage your motherboard.

The cooler's contact plate has grooves which require too much paste to fill and make establishing a proper efficient thermal connection difficult.

Other Thoughts: The fan's connector is 4-pin. To make it work with a 3-pin motherboard connector, you may have to shave off some of the keying plastic and pop out & reposition the wires (or buy an adapter).

Pros: Cheap, But you get what you pay for.

Cons: Like the others said, The plastic push pin breaks easily. I have read other reviews and I was extra careful to make sure I didn't overtighten. It didn't break when I installed so I thought the others were exaggerating.

Sadly that didn't last long: A couple months later when I moved the case two pins broke off. Fortunately I heard the sound in the case and checked before I turned it on.

Other Thoughts: I have used at least fifty different types of aftermarket coolers from LGA 775 days, And this is the worst I have seen. Usually the ones that's a nightmare to install are pretty secure afterwards (eg. NT06-Pro), With lots of screws and metal parts, Not the case here.

Not only this one is difficult to install, It's also using cheap plastic parts that breaks easily, Do yourself a favor and stay away.
