3 out of 5 eggsLoud

Pros: Blue LED, that's about it.

Cons: This fan seems pretty nice at least while your PC is idle. Sure it pushes some air, but at the cost of a very loud annoying hum. On top of all that, the 3 pin connector cord is way to short to get around any card(s) you may have installed, at least on a micro ATX MoBo.

Other Thoughts: Overall, just a bad fan. Considering the manufacturer one would expect more.

5 out of 5 eggsFan screws

Pros: This is a general statement regarding people who think the mounting holes are too small, or say they are not threaded. These are "self tapping" screws that cut their own threads when first installed. Just turn the screwdriver, it won't break the mount. Hint: if you remove the fan for whatever reason and go to reinstall, turn the screw backwards a little amount with very little pressure. You will feel the screw click into the cut threads, then proceed to tighten without cutting new threads. Mount fans with a gentle touch. Strong arm not necessary.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: If a task seems not to work, check with someone with experience. Know when to seek assistance. Leave that ego in a drawer somewhere.

5 out of 5 eggsI like em!

Pros: I really like these little fans. The LED is a bright blue and looks great with the clear fans. Add some chrome fan grills for a little extra splash.

Cons: None.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes what it says

Pros: Moves air.
Bright.

Cons: Coolermaster fans are known for having screws than its sockets.
Screwing in the screws are a pain. But definitely do-able.

2 out of 5 eggsAnnoying

Pros: Bright, moves air.

Cons: Doesn't spin fast enough, seems like other fans move a lot more air. Fan mount holes are too small, I stripped about 20 screws mounting four fans in my case.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Valued Customer,

We are sorry that you are having trouble with our cpu fan. Can you give me clarification on how fast the fan is moving. The fan can go up to 1800RPM +/-% depending how hard the computer system is working. You can contact us on Live chat. Link below for your reference for further details.

Respectfully,
CMUSA Customer Support

5 out of 5 eggsThumbs up

Pros: Comes with the adaptor. Moves plenty of air and with my speed controller this baby is virtually silent! Nice clear blades and housing. Beautiful light "bends" with the blades. One of the quiter fans in my case.

Cons: Rather short cable. At full speed its a little noisy but not bad. Pretty bright for those of you who don't want a bright fan.

Other Thoughts: My only gripe really was the short cable. I will always recommend using a fan controller, since all fans are a little different. Different blades make different amounts and kinds of noise depending on if you use them for intake or exhaust. Most of the time, a font fan close to a grill as an intake is going to be loud because of all the objects the air has to move around. For those of you who are looking for high temp drops at low rpms, your not going to get it. You dont need high rpm to stay cool, focus on stabilizing your high temps during load, fans arent going to drop idle temps. Those of you having trouble with screws, ALL fans come un-threaded. It guarantees a tight fit. Make sure you have a large (or small) enough screw driver. Typically the culprit is too small or too cheap of a screwdriver.

1 out of 5 eggsScrew this!

Pros: I wouldn't know of any...

Cons: Because the screws won't fit. How can you build a fan where the screws don't fit and sell it? It appears to be a problem with the plastic housing of the fan itself being too small to allow the normal size screws to be drilled in, as the screws from my other fans are the same size, and they don't fit either.
I read reviews that others could manually FORCE the screws in - no such luck here, I nearly stripped one of the screws trying to get it in even 2-3 millimeters.
As others have said, there's not even any treading for the screws to go in.

Other Thoughts: This product really has let me down, and has made me very disappointed in Cooler Master overall, as I can't believe they'd make a product that you can't install and sell it. Makes me skeptical of them in the future.

Manufacturer Response:

Hi Mad, we are sorry to hear you are having trouble with our fans. With all new fans, they need to be torqued in the first time to ensure tight installation against the case/cooler. You will find this with any new fan you buy. If you would like more information on the subject, please contact us via the Live Chat link below. Respectfully - CMUSA Customer Support.
