Other Thoughts: Wife's cooler died - figured to give her my old Arctic Pro64 - 92mm and get a new one. My AMD Phenom II X6 with 10% overclock now idles at 27C instead of 28C - 100% load dropped from 41C to 40C - hardly worth it, but the 120mm fan is slightly quieter. Comes with everything you need to get up and running. Lots of instructions in different languages. Cons: Some folks may be turned off by the easiness to move the cooler around even after mounting screws fully tightened. Other Thoughts: Works like a charm. Idle temps went from 30 c down to 22 c. Added Push Pull configuration, which was made easy by the extra mounts that came with the cooler. Vertical mounting allows for direct exhaust out the top. Other Thoughts: My CPU fan broke and I needed a new one. After looking at the options I chose this one. I'm glad I did. It comes with an extra fan bracket that you can attach a second 120mm fan. I did this and have the two fans (one on either side of the heatsink) in a push-pull configuration. My system is in a CM HAF X case. There's no problem with room. It works great. No problem with heat anymore. Installation was a little bit of a pain because the instructions were a little ambiguous. There's always google and youtube for the "how to install" instructions. Very solid performer -Easy to install, this was my first heatsink replacement and it was pretty easy. -it works so well when the fan died it kept my system cool enough so nothing was damaged. Cons: -fan was defective: I have had this installed for about 8 hrs of use and the entire time the fan was very loud& vibrating my entire case. It all of a sudden quieted down and i opened up my side panel and the fan had died. It moved tons of air while it worked tho. Luckily my case has enough airflow that even w/ it dead and oc'd slightly it passively cools it enough to stay safe ~10 min of prime 95 i was at 54c oc'd to 3.94ghz(gotta love OC Genie) and obviously i'm getting a new fan asap, i'll use my front intake for now until i get it situated. -This was my first shipment from newegg that was trashed in the shipping process, and i mean terrible. that on top of that the paper they put in the box to absorb shock does nothing to absorb shock, my case fans came swiming in packing peanuts but this gets brown paper? Was not expecting to need to remove my motherboard to install the mount, but this was no issue. The mount, cooler and fan are secure. CPU is running between 38C and 45C under load (gaming). This is significantly cooler than stock, which was running between 90C and 99C for me. Needless to say, that needed to change! Cons: None so far. Other Thoughts: This thing is huge.
