4 out of 5 eggsThis is "OK" stuff

Comments: This thing is ok, it cools my 3.2 processor. If you're going to overclock you CPU, get something more powerful. I think that if the range of RPM for this cooler was greater it would be a lot better. It is very quiet when on its lowest settings. This cooler will be just right for CPUs under 3.0.

Comments: The fan works good if not a bit loud. The copper fins like to trap dust and if you don't keep them clean you will get very poor cooling.

Comments: While I did get this mostly because its sexy looking, it works really well. Compaired to my 2.4ghz P4's stock cooler and heatsink, this thing is massive. You do have to use an expantion slot or a 3 1/2 inch bay for the control nob. Its rather loud on top speed.

However, my system and especially my cpu have gotten alot cooler since I added this. 5 out of 5.

Comments: I bought this fan and heatsink along with a p4 3.2ghz processor and it works fairly well. It's slighty loud when on full blast but at idle it runs 40C at around 2700rmp. Would suggest to others.

Comments: With my purchase of this fan i also bought a p4 3ghz. Don't get me wrong the fan is great but, i overclocked my cpu and need a more powerful fan. During heavy gaming like doom3 on high settings or farcry, the sound will go away because the cpu heats up too much. I recomend a better fan if u plan on overclocking but otherwise, cooler master has done a fine job. Oh, and thanks newegg.

Comments: Basicly got it for a temp solution till i finish building my case and peltier watercooling setup. but to my suprise this little cooler allows my p4 3gig to run at 3600mhz stable. 46 deg idle 48 full load. at idle and low fan speed it idles 46-47. very very impressed.

Comments: Works great and looks great too!

Overclocked 2.5ghz to 3,0ghz with a little arctic silver in there. Idles at 34C and maxes out at 45C. It gets loud around 100% but once you hit 70% i cant tell a difference from anything lower. A++

Comments: I have a 3.2ghz Presscot, arctic silver 5, and have the heatsink maxed out all the time and my temperature is at 65C and 55C idle. I do ALOT of intense gaming on HL2 and Source and I only have 1 case fan and ive only used my heatsink 2 days so far so I guess the arctic silver 5 hasnt fused yet.

Comments: Got this to replace the stock heat sink and fan of my p4 3.2e. Is loud on high. On medium, it cools a little better than the stock fan. On high, it's good for gaming (just crank up the volume on the game). To top it off, it looks great in the case.

Comments: Purchased this to cool my Prescott 3.0. Does a good job, keeps the cpu at 49c most of the time, with the high around 56c while running at 3000 rpm. Only concern is the louder sound at full rpm, however, I can live with the sound levels at 3000 with the above results.
I only give up 1c to 2c at 3000 rpm vs 3500 so no real need to push it to the higher rpm . All of this was achieved in a 4 year old mid-tower atx case with only one 80mm cooling fan located on the front.
I took the 3.5 floppy bracket and surface mounted it into one of the 5.25 slot panels. This makes for quick and easy adjustments, and is a good alternative mounting location for cases that dont have a 2nd floppy panel slot.
