5 out of 5 eggsGreat air cooling

Comments: I've had this HSF for about 2 months now, and it works wonderfully. I've got a P4 2.4GHz Northwood core @ 3.3GHz and idle temps are about 35 degrees Celcius with loads of 45-50. Fantastic for air cooling, definately recommended.

Comments: This Heatsink is a great accent if you have a see thru case.. It keeps my p4 3.0 at 39-41C. It can get pretty loud but i'm used to the sound already.. Also It has accent led light blinking in the front and a Red LED in the rear... EASY INSTALL!! A MUST GET!!

Comments: I just got this fan last week and my cpu loves it. I have a P4 2.6 oced to 3.2 and the temp stays about 27C when idle and never goes above 45C fully loaded, amazing fan/heatsink, a bit loud when turned all the way up but it makes up for it in the cooling department.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fan

Comments: I must admit, I got this fan because its looks caught my eye, but also because if my case had a window, I didn't want to have a normal cpu fan. The fan is not that load at all, but then again I am also running five other fans and don't really notice them either. What I really love about this fan is that its intake takes the air sucked in from the 120 sitting on the back of my case, the pushed the air from the heatsink out to the top of my case and get sucked out of the fan up there. Personally I think if you don't have the money to with liquid cooler system, this is the best fan out there. Of course Newegg shipped the same day and delivered within four!

5 out of 5 eggsBest of the Best of the Best....

Comments: This heatsink and fan combo is the best I have ever seen.It not only looks hardcore it is all around awesome. It goes perfect with the themed cases I make sometimes for people and the lights on it are sweet. The speed switch is good for when you want to turn it down to reduce the noise but who needs to when it isn't that loud anyways. It just blends in with my other fans and I don't even notice it. Newegg ROCKS!!

Comments: A good heatsink and fan for the price. It's not nearly as loud as everyone says it is.. I cant really hear it anyways. It's extreamly large tho! It BARELY fit into my mid tower ATX case, Antec. But it did, so no complaints :)

5 out of 5 eggsThis Heatsink Rocks...

Comments: I dont get it...this thing is working perfectly for me...no way you guys can be getting that high a temp. unless your doing something wrong...my cpu idles at 33C and never goes over 49C with full load or playing gamesl ike CS:S or DOOM3. The Fans on High/3590 rpms average. Maybe it might be your Cases or double check your Fans...sometimes people have them switched! back or front etc.

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: Keeps my p4 3.2e at 45C right now and have gotten as low as 37 with a open window, the noise doesn't bother me, I leave right by the road so noise isn't a problem and the fact that I have 9 fans not including this one in my case so the sound in no way bothers me (6x80mm case, 2x80mm psu, and one on my video card) don't use the given thermal grease, spend the extra 10 bucks and get arctic silver 5

3.2E GHz intel proccessor
1gig ddr pc 3200 ram
SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON 9800 PRO Video Card
74gb 10k rpm hdd
Asus p4p800-e deluxe mobo
Aspire case with 500 watt psu (Green)

Everything was bought on newegg, came in 3 days, very pleased with the service

4 out of 5 eggsNice looks, good performance.

Comments: I bought this heatsink when I upgraded my system with an Asus P4C800-E Deluxe and 3.2E Prescott.

My first thought when I saw it was that it is HUGE. The copper heatsink takes the whole 80x80mm area, and it sits tall with the jet-looking fan.

I'm not sure why the last review was getting such hot temperatures. After running at full load with PRIME95, my CPU temperature never went over 52 degrees Celcius. And that is with a room temperature that isn't that cool (around 80 degrees Farenheit). However, I did NOT use the thermal paste that came with the heatsink, I bought some Arctic Silver.

Ironically, the fan noise I found most tolerable was when the knob was turned all the way up! The fan noise frequency got high enough that I didn't really notice it, it blended in with the case fans.

With quality thermal paste, I think this cooler gives you decent cooling with good looks and some room if you want to overclock.
