COOLER MASTER RR-T812-24PK-R1 120mm Sleeve TPC 812 CPU Cooler Compatible with Intel 2011/1366/1155/1156/775 and AMD FM1/FM2/AM3

Pros: VERY easy to install (was my first time ever too). Excellent mounting system.
Keeps my i73770 at 29C idle and almost never goes past 37-39C when gaming.

FYI this was my first build and I got it mounted on the CPU in less then 5 minutes.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Those reviewers that said it was too big or cannot use tall ram...that is not a con. Know the product you are purchasing. Plus tall ram spreaders are such a waste and really are only for looks, get Low Profile ram people.

Those that said it moves when mounting...duh! The TIM is still wet and it needs to move so you can position the cooler correctly. All you have to do is start screwing it down (in the X pattern) and once it is almost tight get it into its final position and finish tightening the screws and it will not move after that.

Some people just don't do the proper research for a product.

Pros: keeps cpu pretty cool

Cons: heat sink is too low - no room for ram that have tall heat fins.

Other Thoughts: it seems that CM did not test this cpu cooler when they built it. if you have rams that have high heat sink fins, then this fan will not work well because there's no room to fit your ram.

it would be ideal if they could make it so this cooler allows for 90 degree rotation. this way, if you can rotate the cooler side ways and have the fan blow air side ways. at the same time, you can also switch the fan to the ram side, or the I/O port side (if the fan hits your ram).

however, that's not the case, you can only mount the fan at the top or bottom, which still leaves no room for high rise rams.

if you look at the Hyper 212 evo, you will see what I mean: the 212 allows you to move your fan to the I/O port side, or the ram side (it's oriented side ways) so that you can use high rams with long heat fins.

this cooler is now sitting on my shelf catching dust; and I had to buy the 212 evo in order for me to use my rams.

Pros: Its a great cooler to keep the processer cold.

Cons: I got the parts and it was missing 1 srew, i looked everywhere in the box, and out. Some of the stuff was not in bag, but in parts of the box.

Pros: Keeps my i7-3820 3.6ghz quad core at 25C idle
Fairly quiet.
Good Price for the quality and performance.

Cons: Its pretty big.
Had a hard time mounting it to my sabertoothx79.

Other Thoughts: It works like it supposed to and thats all that matters.

Pros: Price

Cons: Mounting is not 100% secure and keeps wiggling if pushed.

Pros: very good cooler, keeps my 3570k @ 4.5 72~78c running prime95

with no load it stays @ 32~35c

liquid cooling helps the temps not to spike up I think

Looks bada**, at least 2x as good as the regular looking hyper 212

Cons: The fan that comes with it is really loud, luckly they give a 4-3 pin conector to keep the fan speed low.

Figuring how it worked took a hour. manual didnt exsplain how to put it on well. After figurin it out I was easly able to put it on

Other Thoughts: Phanteks PH-TC14PE or Noctua NH D14 is the best air cpu cooler

also look at the H100i/ H100, best liquid cooler

Phanteks PH-TC14PE is better by a few *C

Noctua NH D14 has quiet fans


my 812 cooler is great but if you want to overclock 4.7GHz or get great temps spend exstra $20-40 dollars.

Pros: - Vapor chambers (should become industry standard)
- Comes with parts to add a second fan
- keeps the temps within reason without a sweat

Cons: - Very large, had to remove two case fans to fit this beast in
- heavy
- the installation almost needs two people

Other Thoughts: I like this cooler a lot don't get me wrong but in the age of all in one liquid coolers, the price point will be the only way to compete.

Pros: I've had this cooler for about a month now, and it's still running like a monster. I have an AMD quad core clocked to 4.2 Ghz and it's keeping me down at about 25-30 C idle and no more than 50 C at full load. I'm quite impressed by this massive device and I'll be using it for a while. I highly recommend for buyers with a case that fits it.

Cons: I had a case fan on the side of my rig, and the heatsink was so large I had to remove it and mount it to the top. Not a problem, I'm still running super cool and that's what matters.

Other Thoughts: Notta.

Pros: Looks impressive, should work but still not sure.

Cons: Pain to install and just barely fits in my Cooler Master Haf 932 Advanced
Weighs a ton and held on by chinsy mounting bracket that is impossible to keep from moving around even after you get it tightened down, unit kept twisting after applying thermal paste so I'm sure thats all messed up but so far overheating hasn't been an issue but I haven't tried pushing its limits yet.

Other Thoughts: Wish I would've just went with water cooler because it just looks so much easier installing and doesn't cover up your whole motherboard and half of your Ram slots. To change your Ram after installing you have to take this beast off and re-apply thermal paste, so make sure you put Ram in first before intalling this beast
