5 out of 5 eggsCooler Master - you da real MVP

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120M – All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: I avoided water cooling until these AIO blocks became standard, and at this price point and the performance they deliver you are a fool to use anything else. Besides the fact that this one has a nice meaty copper plate and sturdy tubing, what I really liked best was the mounting bracket. Most water blocks tend to be pretty simplistic here anyway so it's tough to be competitive. I've never had problems installing one before however I immediately noticed how fantastically simpler this one was above all the rest. Again this isnt saying much since they're all pretty simple, but this one was just nice. You have 2 metal brackets that attach to a backplate you screw on to your motherboard, that's it. You could open this thing brand new out of the box having never tried it before, and challenge yourself to install it in less than a minute and you'd win. It really is that easy.

I can't imagine why anyone would choose air cooling ever again with these things out there, especially if you are a gamer who's CPU is going to be under 100% load all the time, and moreso when you start overclocking. Super PI torture test puts my i7-4790k @ 52C on this thing. I'm pretty sure that's awesome.

Also it has a really nifty little blue LED indicator on the pump to give you peace of mind that it's actually working. I've always been paranoid about previous AIO's wondering "how am I gonna know when the pumps fails? Oh ok my CPU is crashing repeatedly".

Cooler Master obviously has a good rep and makes quality products, this one will not let you down.

Cons: cons? yeah right.

5 out of 5 eggsCOOL BRO!

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120M – All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Pros? keeps my cpu at a steady 30c while playing league. while just putting around its at 24c so but i haven't been able to get a am3 + CPU into my new mobo. so i am running a am3 socket that's a 3.0 GHz. new CPU will be the new fx 8350 which is a 4.0 GHz chip. so will update when i get that installed and powered up. Keep you UPDATED!!

Cons: the connections are stiff really isn't a bad thing just have to keep in mind that the hoses don't bend all that easy for tight spaces
so dont recommend for mid towers. unless its a larger one.

4 out of 5 eggsEntry Water Cooling

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120M – All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Easy entry level self contained water cooling for your hot processor. Cooler Master quality equipment looks rigid though in a somewhat smaller size than other coolers I have seen in the class. Keeps my power hungry system package nicey icy.

Cons: The radiator is not the most beefy, piping ribbed thin, and only comes with one fan when maybe a push pull two fan system is best.

Other Thoughts: Monitor your socket temperatures when starting out with processor liquid cooling. Motherboards do get designed with airflow in mind so removing fan air over the socket causes heat to lose flow and become hot spot stagnant.

Most use an easy trick of placing the stock CPU heat sync fan atop the motherboard voltage regulation modules plus socket for some air flow.

4 out of 5 eggsit works fine. nothing special

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120M – All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: this cooler works fine. its cooling abilities seems to be on par with a high end air cooler, but this does it much quieter. this thing works great in my HTPC (a HTPC that i just happen to have a 4690k and a gtx 980 in.. lol). my machine is nearly silent in my living room, which is great, and this thing keeps things cool enough when i fire up some games as well.

Cons: every so often, usually when first turning my machine on, i'll hear a sound coming from the pump that sounds like water moving... like it kind of sounds like there may be just a tad bit of air in the system. it only lasts maybe 2 seconds or so and then its gone. first time i heard it i thought it sprung a leak, but it was fine.

this is one of the recommended coolers by coolermaster to use in their own Elite 130 ITX case. the thing is, the wire on the fan that is included with this isn't long enough to reach the fan header in the upper left corner on many itx motherboards. i even have it as the INNER fan on a push/pull and its still not long enough. the wire would have to be like 4 inches longer if i put the fan in the spot that coolermaster recommends, in their own case, with their own cooler... thats just stupid.

on my i5-4690k, in my z97 motherboard, i have an overclock of 4.5 ghz and under prime 95 this thing still lets it get into the upper 80c range. idle temps are lower 30s though, sometimes as low as around 29c if its cold in my living room. im using arctic silver ceramique 2 paste.

Other Thoughts: before installing this thing, give it power and check for leaks. you dont want it leaking all over your expensive hardware.

i dont have anything against this cooler, but if i were to do my build all over again i would probably have gone with the corsair equivalent. it generally yields slightly better temps, and has nicer smooth tubes, instead of the ribbed ones this has.

5 out of 5 eggsKept CPU Ice Cold, easy install.

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120M – All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: I didn't over-clock my A10-6800K, but was able to keep it cool regardless. Fairly easy to install.

Cons: None really.

5 out of 5 eggscolder than a witches...

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120M – All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: ... Teet.
I'm using this to cool an AMD FX 8350, and boy does it work well. Pump temp reads out 3c-7c at idle and a steady 28c on load. socket temp runs at 22c idle and load is only 31-34c.
The original fan that is included is really good, but i sacrificed performance with looks and went with an SP120 and an AF130 from corsair, which still do the job at nearly no temperature difference

Cons: None yet.. Wish the rad came with a dust filter, mines gone from black to clay red.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a fast and easy watercooling solution for your hot/overclocked processor and dont want to spend 300 bucks on an open loop system, and risk a leak, then this is the solution for you.

4 out of 5 eggsSo much noise!

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120M – All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Works great, has kept cpu very cool, planning on overclocking soon.

Cons: The fan that is provided with the radiator is louder than my wife's snoring. No joke this fan is seriously loud, consider replacing it.

Other Thoughts: Great for the money. Even though the fan is loud it works like a champ
