5 out of 5 eggsGood cooling

Pros: Seem to work very well. Keeps the CPU nice and cool.

Cons: The only con is that the tubing is rather stiff. This is goo because it prevents crimps, but can make it tuff to work in a mid-tower case.

As a note, the fan may be 120mm but the radiator is lager (150mm) in height which can make it very difficult to fit a fan spot that only supports 120mm

Other Thoughts: As a note, the fan may be 120mm but the radiator is lager (150mm) in height which can make it very difficult to fit a fan spot that only supports 120mm

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Upgrade from Stock Aircooler

Pros: Temperature tests, using CPUID HWmonitor, before and after installing the Seidon 120M suggests a 25% decrease in CPU temperature while under load. More than I expected! Good price.

Cons: Could have been an easier install for AMD sockets but overall not too bad. Make sure you're plugging the included fan into a PWM input. It's very loud unless regulated.

1 out of 5 eggsfirst time water cooling fears come true

Pros: Good construction feel and great packaging. I'm not sure why some of the reviews down the instructions. I found them to be adequate. Installation was much easier than I expected and everything fit very nicely.

On my i7-930 I got high 30's at idle and no higher than mid 60's at full load at stock clock with HT and Turbo boost enabled. This is with a push pull configuration. I assume it'd be better with fans optimized for static pressure. With the stock fan and the silenx fan I have on it, it is dead quiet!

If you're looking for good budget cooling that doesn't take much space and is near silent, this is a wonderful product and a great alternative to the more popular closed loop water cooling solutions.

Cons: This is my first water cooling experience and like many, I worried about leaking. Sure enough it happened to me.

After installing, I ran a video render that would push the cpu to see how it handles full load and everything seemed fine. I then played a game of LoL and roughly 10-15 minutes in, the game froze up and I had to restart. I smelled an odor coming from the case so I powered off the computer and popped open the case. Cooling fluid had dripped out of the return hose linkage onto my video card and got into the pci-e port.

I then started the computer again to make sure it was still leaking and hit it with good ol prime95. There was no leaking until I started prime95 on default settings. Almost immediately, it began leaking at the same spot as mentioned previously. I took out the Seidon and put my stock cooler back on.

I'm sure these are good coolers and most people considering going to water cooling probably had the same fears that I did. I'm just sad that I was one of the folks that had to experience it first hand. I can't give this anything more than 1 egg.

I have good faith in Cooler Master products. I'm a big fan as my case is a from them and I had a TX3 air cooler on my older rig. I'm guessing I just happened to get one of the bad ones. I will be trying to RMA this or contacting Cooler Master directly and pray that my video card and/ or motherboard are fine.

4 out of 5 eggsGood so far

Pros: I ran a program called IntelBurn Test at maximum and my peak temp was 56C. (about 4c lower than aircooled)

The tubing is very flexible, I thought it was rigid when I was looking at it, but it bends very easily.

This cooler also makes my computer 1 fan quieter since I use the 120mm exhaust for the radiator.

Cons: I installed this cooler on an AMD board. I had to put a ridiculous amount of force on my screw driver to get the mounts put (it won't let me say sc.r.e.w.e.d?) in. My screw holes weren't sunk in to far either. It caused a very minor bend in a section of my mother board, but nothing to worry about.

My idle temperature seems to be slightly higher (about 4c)

Other Thoughts: Overall my peak temps seem to be only slightly lower, it caused a bend in my mother board, but I would still buy it again (with the 30.00 rebate)

5 out of 5 eggs1st time user

Pros: Quiet and very easy to install

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: 1st time user of self-contained water pump system, in the past I've always used air. I have to admit it was easier than i thought. Make sure your vents are for 120MM fans, I have a fractal R4 with 140MM vents, but can accomodate 120MM fans. Also do yourself a favor and have someone help you with holding radiator, unless you have 3 arms lols.

3 out of 5 eggsOkay but a few flaws!

Pros: Easy to install.

Cons: The noise of liquid pump is noticeable than the radiator fan. Plus it has a really annoying ugly of warranty sticker.

Other Thoughts: Only two years warranty.

5 out of 5 eggsCheap Watercooling On The Go

Pros: It's cheap (relatively).
It's simple to install.
No need to refill water.
Great for non-technical people (ie. my parents who don't know how to manage a water cooled system).
Good for those who don't need/want to cool a GPU too.

Cons: None, in the context of what I'm using it for.

Other Thoughts: Ignore webdevii. Sure, one can spend $600 on a full water cooling unit that'll cool an OCed i7 + Dual GPUs... but this is water cooling on the cheap and easy. He should be happy that his H100 spilled and corsair cut him a check because there are more people frying their own builds when they fail to build their watercooling set-up properly and when that happens there's no fallback. Also, I got this for my parent's computer which I wanted to be as near silent as possible and it's also easy for them to maintain.

I've built many rigs throughout the years and my current one has 2 680's and a 3960 under water so I actually know what I'm talking about.

1 out of 5 eggsAll the Issues

Pros: None

Cons: Keep in mind, in this business you get what you pay for, and also if you want it done correctly DO IT YOURSELF!! I have had a Corsair H100 that popped one of the compression fittings into the pump and fried my main board, vid card and LSI SAS Host Controller. Although they cut me a check for the damaged parts and sent me a new cooler, for darn sake go to Frozen CPU if your a novice and not sure email Joe their he is a pro at liquid cooling, and build your own custom loop cooling system. That is what I ended up doing granted it is around $600.00 for mine, however it keeps an Intel 3930 at around 60c under a load at 4.5Ghz. Well worth the money. For more info check out overclocking dot net forum there are a lot of helpful people their!! That will point you in the right direction!

5 out of 5 eggsWow

Pros: First time using a liquid cooler. The installation was relatively easy. I have a Phenom II 1045T.

My system idled at around 30 celsius with all cores clocked to 2.9ghz. After installation, my temps dropped to about 13. I bumped up to 3.6ghz and system idles at about 19 degrees. I would push up to four, but I think my motherboard may be getting in my way. Just started getting into overclocking so I'm still learning the ropes.

Cons: My tower is a mid-tower and it was a very tight squeeze to get the radiator attached to the fan.

It can get a little loud.

Other Thoughts: I already had a 120mm fan in the place where the new on went. In the instructions you will notice one diagram where it has an alternative setup where you can have a fan on both sides of the radiator.

I went ahead and did that and I think it helps, but it can get a bit loud.
