5 out of 5 eggsEXTREMELY HAPPY WITH 240M!

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120M - All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: I got an outstanding deal on the CM Seidon 240M last August -- it was on a good sale with a good rebate, making it a great deal! (it's my understanding they have discontinued the Seidon line so you have to 'upgrade' to a newer line or find it elsewhere) -- let me say this: I have an Intel i7-4790K and I used very good quality, Arctic MX-4 thermal compound ... and I get *AMAZING* #OUTSTANDING# results -- the Seidon 240M allows me to overclock to 5GHz all day everyday. I can run my PC at 5GHz and right now, while typing this, with 20 Chrome tabs open, CPU-Z and HWiNFO64 open to monitor things, and Veetle playing STDS9 I can listen to while I type, my cores at at 30C,28C,26C,27C -- at 5GHz. OH YEAH and I only run the Seidon fans at 50% unless I'm gaming or running virus scans. I admit, gaming (World of Tanks) pushes the temps up to 50s and 60s but then I just kick the fans up to 100% and it's still totally under-temped thermally , especially for 5GHz. I have even hit 5.1GHz with the same temps (but at 1.4V which is just too high, unless you're just nuts or rich). And when I disable overclocking and stay at 4/4.4GHz, I don't go above 30 unless I'm pushing the system purposely and don't go above 40 unless I'm running virus scans or gaming. And I have never gone above 48-49 @ 4.4GHz -- this cooler is awesome for the size and price.

Cons: Cooler Master sucks. I had problems with the fans during install, and their solution was to RMA the fans, wait a few weeks, they'll let me know, perhaps send me new ones or not, and I'd have to pay shipping. And of course not have the cooler working while I build my new $1750 system. My father actually came over and fixed the fans by messing with the wiring, so it's done, but they suck. I also just bought a CM Devastator II Mouse/Keyboard LED combo, and the mouse LED never shuts off. I tried contacting CM support, their solution was to try using it on another computer. (I'll just whip out my other $1750 computer I keep as a backup....... seems legit!) but their PRODUCTS are amazing. I'd have a CM Storm Trooper case if it wasn't more than double the AZZA case I got. but CM makes amazing, and great looking, everythings.

Other Thoughts: Remember to over-build with your cooler -- get the bigger one you're looking at or more than you need because you'll never be upset your system is "too cool" , you can always turn the fans down and such, but if you spend 50 and realize you should have spent $75, or you spend $70 but really needed the $100 one, you get my point...

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120M - All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Works great, very cool. seal coolant

Cons: A little stiff, hoses could be a bit more flexible.

Other Thoughts: I have had this cooler for over 3 years now and it is fantastic. I us it with a AMD FX-4100 Zambezi Quad-Core 3.6GHz overclocked to 4.2 and it stays around 27c while gaming.

5 out of 5 eggsCouldn't be happier after using for 6 months.

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120M - All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Perfect for quiet PC build.
Great performance - consistent low cpu temps at stock speed allowing lower fan speed, i.e. less noise.
Good looking component - nice styling
Easy Installation
Reasonable price

Cons: Fan is loud at full throttle, but this not a problem at stock CPU speed.

Other Thoughts: Product is mounted in a Corsair Carbide 200R case, AsRock z77 Extreme 4 motherboard, i7-3770K cpu in the single fan pull configuration on the rear. Stressed tested the cooler at 4.6Ghz without problems. I have no need to overclock and run the CPU at the factory set speed and the efficiency of the cooler allows me to lower the fan speeds quite significantly. Radiator fan is connected to CHA FAN 2, while the cooler pump is connected to the PWR FAN which is an always on constant power. Other case fans consist of a front intake fan and a single outtake fan at the top. All cooling fans are Gelid Silent 12 120mm. All my temps are generally at 35°C or slightly below. I have covered the unused fan cut-outs with soft black vinyl shelf liner attached with double-sided adhesive tape. The computer sits and runs very quietly on my desktop.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well, except for the fan

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120M - All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: All-in-one design, no need to add water or prime the pump, works with a number of types of processors making it versitile, COMES WITH THERMAL COMPOUND (since it didn't say that in the description)

Cons: COMES WITH THERMAL COMPOUND SHOULD BE ADDED TO THE DESCRIPTION and the fan that is included is junk!

Other Thoughts: UPDATE AFTER 2 YEARS: The fan that comes with this is junk! Mine made this horrible loud whirring noise until I pushed the center sticker while it was running to make it stop. Eventually, that doesn't even work...so buy a better fan when you get this!

3 out of 5 eggsstill running for almost 3 years now..hope it doesnt die soon though..

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120M - All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: pretty easy to install
not bad for the price but recommend better..
also been running since early 2014 and still going strong

Cons: its a bit noisy, but its keeping my temps down so it works but it is rather loud and kinda eliminates the purpose of liquid cooling considering you buy liquid cooling to help keep noise down.....

Other Thoughts: wouldnt recommend and id listen to the other reviews avoid this one...im currently just waiting for mine to die

1 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120M - All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: -Easy Quick Install
-CoolerMaster's Excellent customer service
-Brought temperatures from 32C (old liquid cooler) to 19C

My liquid cooler messed up and caused my cpu temperature to run at a dangerously high 65C when idle. This fixed that problem and gave me better temperatures then my other liquid cooler when it was brand new. I had never seen my CPUs temp under 28C, this brought it down to 19C.

Cons: -Terrible Customer Service
-Bought 2, both broke within a year took me 4 months to get one RMA'd and I'm still waiting on the other. Cooler Master is ignoring me and I'm constantly calling them. They have received my product and had it in their office or whatever for almost 5months.. They pretty much just stole from me.

1 out of 5 eggspump failure

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120M - All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: this is an update.
it did keep my cpu cool.
I bought 2 and one is still working.

Cons: dead after one year and ten days. Cooler master support is out to lunch. these units come with a 2 year warranty that I cant use because they wont let me sign up to fan zone. I'm in a constant loop of sign up, no activation email, resend email, dead link in resent email, copy and paste in browser, my activation is complete, sign in and no account exists.

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend this unit anymore.

1 out of 5 eggsLasted only as long as the warranty!

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120M - All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Cools well when it works.

Cons: Lasted a little over 2 years before it died on me. Just long enough to be out of warranty. Figures! I expected better from $120 cooler that cost as much as the actual CPU I put it on!!!
