4 out of 5 eggsGreat Water Cooling Solution

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 240M – All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 240mm Radiator and 2 Fans

Pros: Cooling a AMD Fx 8320 Auto Overclock (3.7ghz) @ 32 C Idle
41 C Underload, Underload for more than 20 minutes Max Temperature @ 46 C.

Works Great, Highly Recommend this for those that want a Great Cooling Solution for Gaming/WorkStation

Cons: After 2 weeks, started to hear a buzzing noise in the radiator, turns out the radiator would keep making this noise unless I turned the fan speed down from max, to about 50-75% fan speed. Should have RMA'd it during the first instance I heard it, but figured I would hold on to it until it gives out, and the temperatures still remain the same, unchanged when under load and when idling, so I guess you could say the quality of it is very good, just annoying to hear the buzzing noise.

Other Thoughts: Great when it works, hasn't overheated any processor that I've tried with it, my current system :

Amd Fx 8320
MSI 990fxa-GD65V2
8GB G-Skill 1600mhz
Sapphire R7 260x OC
Thermaltake 1200watt PSU
Adata SSD 128GB 550/Read 540/Write

5 out of 5 eggsValue Oriented Two Fan Cooler

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 240M – All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 240mm Radiator and 2 Fans

Pros: Price and value. Simplicity, ease of installation (except for stiff hoses), build quality given the price point.

Cons: Hoses are VERY stiff, and may be installations a bit difficult in very tight quarters or where sharp bends need to be accommodated.

Other Thoughts: The water block, although with a plastic top housing, is relatively heavy, and well put together. The mounting mechanism is elegant, easy to use, and clamps down very tightly. Radiator is a bit on the frugal side of construction, but does the job. Lowered temps 10deg C. coming from my 120M.

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 240M – All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 240mm Radiator and 2 Fans

Pros: Is quiet and cools well.

Cons: After a few days the pump started to make a rattling noise. Just put in for the RMA process. Going to go back to after market heatsink after this short experience.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 240M – All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 240mm Radiator and 2 Fans

Pros: With the discount and rebate I got this for less than most of the high end air coolers on the market. It was a no brainer decision.

Cons: none

5 out of 5 eggsNo complaints at all

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 240M – All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 240mm Radiator and 2 Fans

Pros: I did not have any issues installing this cooler in a HAF 932 cooling an AMD FX-9370 sitting on an ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 with plenty of room to spare. I left the top 230mm fan mounted as is, mounted the radiator under the fan, then mounted the 2x120mm fans under the radiator. The 230mm is pulling from the radiator and the 2x120mm fans push into the radiator. No issues whatsoever with fan connectors because I researched ahead and purchased a splitter to connect the 2x120mm fans to a single fan header (CPU_FAN) and the water pump has it own header (CPU_OPT). I don't have issues with excess noise. I also run my rig 24/7 since the day it was conceived. The only thing to make sure is using the right screws for mounting the radiator and fans. One set of screws is slightly longer than the others. I used the longer screws to mount the radiator to the top grill, under the 230mm fan. Then the shorter ones to mount the 2x120mm to the bottom of the radiator. The shorter screws will not reach far enough to mount the radiator under the 230mm to the top of the case. The existing holes in the top grill for the optional 120mm fans to replace the 230mm fan line up perfectly.

Cons: None to date. As I stated in the pros section, I run my rig 24/7 with no concerns at all.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing!

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 240M – All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 240mm Radiator and 2 Fans

Pros: Easy to Install
Temperatures!
Aesthetics
Rubber Mounting Bracket
Included 2 Way Fan Splitter
Price

Cons: Only 2 Year Warranty
Pump requires its own Fan Header
Gets insanely loud at high RPMs

Other Thoughts: Wow. Just wow, this cooler is amazing.
I bought it on Newegg in June while it was on sale for $56 after mail-in-rebate. All other AIO 240mm water coolers cost at least $100, so already this is almost half the price of others.

I had heard that mounting the Corsair H100i was very difficult, and a lot of people were having problems with mounting it properly, and temperatures not being good as a result. So I opted for the Cooler Master AIO instead, and at half the price, it was a no-brainer. Everywhere I have researched had exceptional reviews for this cooler, Frostytech.com even named it the #3 AIO on the market.

Here are my system specs:
i5-4670k - 4.7Ghz @ 1.275v
Asus Z87-A Motherboard
G.Skill RAM 2400Mhz, 10-12-12-31, 1.65v, 8GB(4GBx2)
EVGA GTX 780 SC w/ ACX Cooler @ 1110Mhz
Phanteks Enthoo Pro Chassis
EVGA SuperNOVA 850W G2 Power Supply
5x Cougar Vortex 120mm PWM Case Fans
1x Phanteks SP 140mm Case Fan

The temperatures are incredible, as I am writing this my hottest core is 26C, and I have my fans and pump at a silent 800rpm. The stock fans go all the way up to 2400rpm, and the pump goes as high as 1450rpm. I haven't felt the need to upgrade the stock fans, although that is certainly an option, and many people will prefer to do that, just be sure to buy static pressure optimized fans when using them on a radiator.

Anywhere from 600-1400rpm the stock fans are very quiet, once you reach 1600rpm and above, it does get loud. At the maximum 2400rpm it is so loud that you can hear it in other rooms. I don't have the need to run it at above 1400rpm because the temperatures are so good already, and I typically have the fans at either my 800rpm or 1200rpm presets. I did ramp it up to maximum just to run some stress tests and to see how much performance this cooler really gives, and it is impressive if you can get past the noise.

When gaming, I am most comfortable running it at 1200rpm on the Fans and 1000rpm on the Pump, it is nearly silent and the temperatures are amazing even with my robust overclock. At the 1200/1000 setting, playing BF4 my hottest core only reaches 52C, and that is the maximum, I am typically in the mid 40s during actual game play.

Since my motherboard comes with PWM Chassis Fan capabilities, I am able to control the speed of my fans and pump separately, and I actually prefer that this product doesn't come with its own software. Why would I need yet another program running at all times, taking up resources that tells me information that I already get from HWiNFO, or allows me to control fan speeds which I already do on my motherboard. For other people, who don't have a motherboard capable of controlling fan speed, this may be a negative for them.

All in all, I am incredibly pleased with my purchase, especially considering I paid half as much as the competitor's AIO. My only complaint is that it comes with a 2 year warranty compared to a 5 year warranty of the H100i.

5 out of 5 eggsNice and cool!

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 240M – All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 240mm Radiator and 2 Fans

Pros: very quiet and keeps your system vary cool. the kit came with plenty of screws and brackets to mount to just about any motherboard thats out there. easy to install took about 20 mins

Cons: The radiator would not clear the ram chips on my motherboard. i had to make some modifications to may case to get it to fit. Not necessarily a flaw in this cooling system but just keep in mind when building that this radiator takes up some room. so go with a larger case

Other Thoughts: all in all this is a must for cooling your system. even if your not overclocking your system will run at its best.
