The Cooler Master V8 GTS features a powerful car engine look and massive cooling capability. It offers a high-performance horizontal vapor chamber, and a triple-tower design with eight high-performance heatpipes and two high-airflow LED fans. The horizontal vapor chamber spreads heat up to eight times faster than heatpipes, which minimizes CPU hotspots and quickly balances the heat load between all heatpipes.

  • newegg Superior Cooling Performance Cooler Master's horizontal vapor chamber technology minimizes CPU hotspots and spreads heat evenly to all heatpipes. The triple-tower heatsink, with eight high-performance heatpipes, is optimized for maximum cooling performance. Plus, the dual PWM fans with red LEDs not only offer high airflow, but also eye-catching fun. Fan speed and noise can be fine-tuned and customized.
  • newegg POM Bearing The POM bearing is dustproof, and offers a long-lasting life of up to 160,000 hours.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product. Very Very large. It almost didn't fit in my case

Pros: Massive beast of a cooler. Looks very aggressive but I guess its the strong silent type cause the fans are barely noticeable. Keeps my I7 cool as a cucumber. Great product.

Cons: Instillation is kind of a pain in the A. S S . Even with the motherboard completely removed. You'll see what I mean when you get one.

Other Thoughts: Would definitely recommend to anybody.

5 out of 5 eggsLove this beast!

Pros: This baby is not only a beauty but keeps my i7 6700k running like a top. I've had it oc'd at 4.6 for a couple of months now and it's performing flawlessly.

Cons: It's true that this is somewhat of a challenge to install but I would highly recommend watching one particular YouTube video presented by a company called HiTech Legion. One thing he explains that really helps a lot is that you should first remove both fans before beginning. To me this really seems critical if not completely necessary.

Other Thoughts: Like other reviewers have mentioned this sucker is very large; however, if you compare it to other models by other brands I don't know if it's fair to say that the size is something that's unnecessary depending on what you want to get out of it. If you want to use it for a high end cpu and overcock it to the hilt, then the dimensions that you are likely to encounter I would think are only going to be commensurate to those needs. It's really just a simple question of physics, is it not?

2 out of 5 eggsLooks nice

Pros: Does the trick, and looks good while doing it.

Cons: I'm giving this cooler up to go liquid. The fans are WAY TOO LOUD, ALL THE TIME!

This thing is HUGE! I had to make some adjustments to my HAF X to get this and my 2 cards into the case.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent air cooling! Better Aesthetics!

Pros: Performs as a standard air cpu cooler should. You're not going to get amazing temps with it. If you are going for a red and black or a engine themed then this is what you need. It looks amazing when installed. When you see it through the window you expect it to rev up like a car engine. The noise is moderate but not noticeable when you don't focus on it. Overall good build quality with minor quirks.

Cons: The main hinderance to this is the size of it and the installation. The height of it is slightly large even for a heat sink but I have a case that allows it. You would definitely have to check your case dimensions before buying. The width of it also makes installation difficult if you have large hear sinks in your motherboard as I do. Definitely install this thing outside of the case without the ram. Other than that it's great.

1 out of 5 eggsFailed to meet Exspectations

Pros: Never had a chance to test it

Cons: Corsair Graphite Series CC-9011061-WW Black Steel / Plastic Mini-ITX 380T Portable Mini ITX Case. The weight of this heat sink should never be mounted Vertical on a Motherboard so a Mini ITX tower is perfect for mounting Horizontal if it would fit. Sadly this is the only tower I have come across that I found this problem you two company's must not like each other or just don't care to cross reference your parts to see if they fit properly.

4 out of 5 eggsGood unit MIR AWFUL

Pros: Keeps very cool almost as good as some hydronic setups
5 eggs with out the MIR

Cons: Very large even bigger than the last V-8 unit I have in a different rig, Mail in rebate plan painful to fill out and wait for ever, four months if you are lucky

Other Thoughts: I almost exclusively use cooler master products when I can on my personal as well as the computers and take care of recently I put in for a mail in rebate, it has taken four months and I still do not have the mail in rebate ,shame on you were cooler master. I will never do another mail in rebate ever, if they can’t do an instant I will buy else ware.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very cool design, like engine or Cybertron style. The airflow is strong which helps my cpu temperature in a satisfying level.

Cons: Too big, so that it is very hard to install, and it does have conflict with some tall rams. Another issue is the noise, anyway, I don't care much about this point.

4 out of 5 eggsCools like an air conditioner, sounds like one too.

Pros: Does exactly what you need it to, but don't expect it to be quiet. Had a problem with the first I got, and figured the defective fan would be the reason.. Nope, it's still a bit noisy. That being said, it does exactly what you need. Overclocked my CPU from 4.0Ghz to 5.0Ghz and haven't seen more than a degree of a rise.

Cons: A tad on the noisy side, but well worth the tradeoff.
