5 out of 5 eggsMassive, but fits comfortably.

Pros: Keeps 7850K Very cool, runs at 4200mhz stable where it would usually crash on Hyper 212+. Very noticeable

Cons: Paired with G1 Sniper, my case looks like a christmas decoration

Other Thoughts: I think the chronic should be federally legal.

3 out of 5 eggsWAY TOO BIG

Pros: nice looking smooth operating cooler. However most lga2011-3 motherboards dont lend themselves well to this monster of a cooler. It covers PCIE1 and 4 of the 8 ram slots. This may work with the Gigabyte board but not the MSI x99 and from what i can tell the Asus board has about the same type of layout. I had to either buy a water cooler or the Noctua NH-D9L. i am not a fan of liquids and electricity in the same area

Cons: too bit for most high end x99 boards using lga2011-3

Other Thoughts: make it with one fan and make it taller so the ram can fit

3 out of 5 eggsAwesome too bad it won't work!

Pros: Over all great design with 3 cores and 2 fans. It's for sure has a lot of cooling area!

Cons: Ok so now come the bad part. I gave it a 3 star because with it's size and having a ASUS ROG Rampage IV Black Edition LGA 2011 Intel X79 mother board it encroaches on the PCIE 16X #1 slot so bad I could not put a video card in it. It looks like CoolMaster took into account clearing the ram area with no issues but to be so big it doesn't allow a video card in PCIE slot 1? Poor planning on their behalf! I understand there are a lot of motherboards and making it fit every one would be very hard but I really wanted this to keep my 12 core processor cool.

Other Thoughts: Ok to sum it up: It's VERY BIG! Unless you have a very big case your going to have issues (some may have clearance issues with side case fans, other may be like me and have issues with it covering up part of the PCIE slot #1 and interfering with the graphic card. Make 100% sure your going to clear EVERYTHING before you buy this! I will be returning it and finding another cooling solution. Oh and I've got a Thor case so I know I have clearance for everything.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than expected!

Pros: Asus Crossblade Ranger + AMD A10-7850 in a Corsair Carbide case, have pushed 46x102MHz with ~1.475v and TPB bouncing around 120-130w while running RealBench Stress Test for 4 hours and still can't hit more than 58-59C CPU temp. Within 60-90 seconds of ending the test CPU temps plummet to idle temp of ~32C. I was never planning to run that kind of an overclock without liquid cooling, but this thing performs pretty well.

Cons: This cooler is MASSIVE. It probably won't fit a lot of cases, and it's also very heavy. Keep that in mind when planning how to mount it. It didn't clear the front panel of my case by a couple mm, so I did a little 'body work' on the front panel to make it work.

Other Thoughts: Would probably use this again. Easier than liquid cooling and nearly as good, so long as you have a case with lots of airflow.

5 out of 5 eggsmegatron

Pros: when I saw this cpu cooler it was love @ first sight every review that I read was positive and the only concerns were it's size absolutely Beautiful........and I'm not even into red!

Cons: lets face it size does matter I have a full tower Silverstone TJ07........ should have called cooler master first although I still blame this on Cooler Master as I was like a deer caught in the head lights when I saw this fan I spent 2 day's mulling over building another computer around it or just hanging onto it so I could look at it but in the end I had to say so long my friend we could have been great together.

Other Thoughts: Though it was brief there will always B an empty spot in my heart;)

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Cooling

Pros: So this is a rather epic cooler.

I'm running a Rampage V Extreme x99 with an i7-5930 core. It uses the 2011 connections already built into the mobo without zero issues or vibration problems.

This cooler keeps the core hovering around 29-31 degrees Celsius

I love the lighting for it, and it's ultra quiet. I keep the current build next to me, even with the panels off the side I can't hear the fans. If you do have any issues with sound, might check your connections.

Size sits perfect over top of my Corsair LED RAM, making it a solid piece in the unit. However, I have a bigger case for my computer.

Other than that, there are very few cons to list.

Cons: Only con I can give this is the size. If you don't have a big enough case, you will run into issues. I would have knocked off an egg for the people who don't have a good enough case, but there has been little issue for me in this regard.

I suggest making sure you can keep an eye on your fan speed mine stays about 1100 rpm, and is ultra quiet.

Other Thoughts: I bought this on a whim, because I didn't have the amount for the liquid cooling I want to do just yet. This keeps things better than expected. I dig this style and it has just been way better than anticipated for a back up plan.

5 out of 5 eggsCooler Master V8 GTS

Pros: -Looks like an engine.
-Works and cools quiet (good fans).
-I used the Asus software to configure the fan speed, the red led are always very bright even if i lower the fan speed.
-Could mount in my Nzxt s340 without any trouble.
-Was good enough to cool down my i7-4770k 40c idle 76c load,
(HwMntr - AidaTest)

Cons: -Not so easy to install.
-Some vibrations, it seems unbalanced.

Other Thoughts: I would like a Hybrid version of this cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME Cooler

Pros: Looks amazing and works as well. It may not be the best cooler on the market but it's plenty for your average user. I game a lot and my CPU was averaging 75 Celsius with the stock cooler. With this cooler its averaging 30 Celsius. As I said there are better coolers on the market but none look nearly as good as the V8!

Cons: The only issue I had was installation. Don't get me wrong it took about 45 minutes which isn't the end of the world but I had to remove my motherboard from my case which is a little inconvenient. The benefits of this cooler outweigh that one negative handsdown.

Other Thoughts: This cooler is MASSIVE. I have a full size case and had to remove the fan from my side panel to get it to fit. Make sure that your case is large enough to fit this behemoth! Once it's in though it looks incredible and does a fantastic job cooling your CPU!
