4 out of 5 eggsLoving this part

Pros: I absolutely love the design of this cooler. I went with a black.red theme for my build and this fit it so perfectly that I couldn't NOT buy it. It keeps my processor at a very manageable temperature and it's very quiet.

Cons: With how super bulky it is the only thing I had a problem with for this build was the installation. While it was very easy for the most part, with my motherboard being designed the way it is I was unable to fit the fourth screw onto the fan without taking one of the fans completely off. This really isn't the fault of the fan, moreso my motherboard, but I feel they could have made the screws in the fan a regular Phillips head instead of me having to get a set of Allen keys to take it apart.

Other Thoughts: This is a very bulky cpu cooler. If you have a large tower case, don't worry about it. Anything smaller you might want to do some measuring. I'm very glad I bought this cooler and I wouldn't have another one.

5 out of 5 eggsBEST AIR COOLER

Pros: Conversation starter. I have had this cooler over a year and was using on a pc that does not get too much use. I am using it on a A10-7850 ocd to 4.2 and it idles in the low 30s. It fits easily in my Fractal R4 case. It clears the heat spreaders on my G-Skill ram. Easy install with mobo in case. The red leds on the fan works well with other leds and my A88XM mobo.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: I was using an H60 and am surprised that this cooler is within a couple of degrees of the H60. Yes this beast may cost more than some liquid systems, but is well worth the price as far as looks and performance. If you can afford it and your case is wide enough GO for IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

4 out of 5 eggsToo Tall For NZXT S340 Case

Pros: Beautiful design, never got to see it run.

Cons: Very tall, you may need a full tower case.

Other Thoughts: The fan was very attractive and I am a bit disappointed that I was not able to utilize this CPU cooler. The CPU cooler was about a 1/4" too tall to clear the side panel in the NZXT S340 case. I returned it and will be running the stock CPU cooler until I come up with a "Plan B".

5 out of 5 eggsNo better looking air cooler on the market IMO

Pros: This thing looks soooooooo sweet!
Horizontal vapor chamber.
Triple heatsink.
2 - 140mm red LED fans
My G.Skill Trident X DDR3 2400MHz RAM fits nicely underneath.

Cons: It's kind of a pain to install. I was installing it on a new build so I installed my CPU and this cooler before dropping the mother board in the case. Installing it with the Mother board outside the case made it fairly simple but at the same time it was still a little tricky and took some patience to get it installed. I think it would be very difficult to install this cooler with your motherboard mounted in your case. You have to use a special little wrench provided with the cooler to secure the cooler in place and doing that inside a case I think would really suck to try and do.
It cools about as well as other coolers currently on the market which cost about 1/3 as much, but for me the extra money was worth it because this thing just looks so much better than all the other air coolers currently available.

Other Thoughts: It's a very large cooler, make sure your case can fit it before you buy it, unless of course you're ok with leaving your side panel off all the time.
I didn't install my RAM until the cooler was already in place and with the red heatspreader fins that come attached to the G.Skill Trident X DIMM's I wasn't able to get the DIMMs into my first 2 RAM slots. Thankfully the heatspreader fins on the Trident X are removable so after taking the heatspreader fins off the DIMM's fit in just fine and I was even able to then reattach the heatspreader fins once the DIMM's were fully seated in the RAM slots. So if you buy this cooler and have tall RAM like the Trident X I suggest installing your RAM first and then install the cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsWork of art!

Pros: Looks gorgeous! Not as loud as I expected. Not as hard to install as I expected.

Cons: Blocks view of RAM (and possibly installation of taller ram sticks), so probably shouldn't go for the lighted corsair dominator. Though some avexir core blue might make an awesome contrast to the red led's in the cooler. Somewhat difficult to install if you already have your mobo in the case (and have big hands like me) but you can do it, just use the force because your eyes can deceive you.

Other Thoughts: Love it! We need more gorgeous components like this!

4 out of 5 eggsV8 GTS cpu cooler

Pros: awesome looking, fairly simple to install. plenty of room over ram slots, no problem inserting ram with the V8 in place on my ATX motherboard.

Cons: wiring seems a bit clumsy, with the short length of the wires, having a bit of a wiring cluster F for the cooler is pretty much unavoidable. would have liked wiring many times longer for more freedom in trying to keep the routing clean.

Other Thoughts: Very nice visual addition to the build but the wiring is an unfortunate point loss for me, especially considering the main reason to really get this over other coolers is the visual aspect.

5 out of 5 eggsWho needs water cooling?

Pros: This was such a game changer for my cpu that was constantly bordering in the high 80'sC. Looks sharp in the case would diffinitley not recommend it for small cases as this thing is beastly.

Cons: The instructions could of been much better, Thankfully the pictures were good enough to illustrate how to put it together.

Other Thoughts: If you're going to buy this have some tweezers because the bolts that are next to your ram can be very difficult to thread in. Also I wouldn't even try to install this without taking your mobo out of the case. It's very easy to install.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Does it's job well, looks good (subjective), Quiet.

Cons: Can be difficult to install even in a large case, Very Big, and could potentially cover ram slot's depending on your mobo. Thermal paste was thick so went Arctic Silver 5 instead.

Other Thoughts: Once you overcome the difficult installation due to it's bulk, it is very effective at it's job.

5 out of 5 eggsLooks sexy

Pros: I had a decent Cooler Master heatsink for around 25$ for my I5 4570.
Well lets say this does a much better job.
It looks fantastic in my side-view window.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: This cooler is quite large, and it's a good thing I upgraded to a full tower before I got this cooler.
Most Mid-Towers will NOT fit this cooler.
