5 out of 5 eggsThis thing is epic!!!!!

Pros: Everything...this is the closest you will get to fact works better than alot of low level coolers....the look is unbeaten in the new build looks like a nuclear reactor!!!! epic!!!! Coolmaster you guys rock!!! Pair this beast of a cooler with a coolmaster CM Trooper full size tower and a couple of lighted fans and your looking like the matrix!

Cons: none....

Other Thoughts: make sure you got a full tower to fit this thing....its bigger than your fat

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Air Cooler

Pros: Keeping my i7-4770K nice and cool, i have yet to see it go over 40C. Seems relatively quiet, though i'm sure it's not when the fans kick on into overdrive (which i haven't seen yet).

Cons: It's MASSIVE. though i knew this when buying it (not removing an egg for that).

Other Thoughts: I couldn't make a decision on a liquid cooling solution so i ended up with this giant. So far i'm happy with it. BE AWARE of it's size, you shouldn't have any issues as long as you have a full tower case and it's being installed on an ATX board. And plan your install, it covers 2 RAM slots on the board i have, plenty of clearance to use the slots but after this beast is installed i doubt you could install any RAM, no issues installing RAM first.

5 out of 5 eggsLooks awesome

Pros: Looks great and cools great. WARNING! IT IS HUGE! MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN OPEN SPACE! I have an older AMD 955 4X with stalk at full load I was running about 59C to 64C With this cooler and clocked up to 4.2 I am running about 40C and high peak at 50C.

Cons: It should cool just a little bit better for $100.

Other Thoughts: Very quiet. I got this thing for the looks and that's what it is. I have impressed every one with is. Its a nice feeling to have the coolest!

5 out of 5 eggsSweet temps!

Pros: -Keeps CPU nice and cool (even better then my water cooler did).
-VERY easy to install.
-LOTS of airflow.
-Fits just about any Intel/AMD.
-Looks pretty.
-One of the best (Air) Coolers out there.

Cons: -It's quiet huge, make sure you have enough space in your tower.
I have an (ATX) Z87 GD65 Gaming mobo and this cooler covers up 3 of my Ram Dims. Luckily, I have 2X8GB and 8GB is enough for me as of now so not a big deal.

Other Thoughts: I was stuck between buying one of Noctua's or V8 GTS. I'm glad, I went with V8 GTS because my temps are perfect with this cooler.
I had a Cooler Master Seidon 120V (Water) and it did a pretty alright job. But not nearly as good as V8 GTS.
I have a 4670K overclocked @ 4.4GHz. It idles @ 27C-30C & full load (100%) is @ 60C-65C. I'm quiet happy with these temps.
I would buy another and do recommend it.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far so good

Pros: I replaced a Noctua HSF with this, primarily for the aesthetic appeal (hated the brownish pink fans). I didn't notice a major difference in performance and from a size perspective the two were pretty close.

Like the Noctua this thing had no problem with RAM clearance on my MSI Z77A-GD65 motherboard and
the red LEDs look great inside of a HAF-XM.

The instructions were simple and clear, so no problems there.

Cons: Like others have mentioned the thing was a bit tricky to install. I had to completely remove my motherboard to do the install. Even then it was not easy to mount this HSF.

Other Thoughts: I've been a big fan of Cooler Master products for a long time and this one didn't disappoint!

4 out of 5 eggsCooler Master V8 GTS

Pros: The Best looking air cooler I was able to find on the market (I'll be honest that's why I bought it),compatible with big variety of sockets, I did like all LEDs, compliments your system when you have nice window on the side and bunch of other flashy LEDs, Performance is okay

Cons: So my main problem with this beast is not how it performs, cause I knew it's not the most efficient cooler in 100$ range, and I'm not going to complain about installation (which requires you to disassemble motherboard completely out of ATX (which I also knew when buying it), but rather I will say that, when I was ordering it from newegg.CA it ended up being shipped from LA, which is also should be ok. Now big problem is mounting parts that I had for intel socket 1150 were in fact defected, particularly the tightening nut that should have been as a final piece on one of four corners to hold 1kg cooler wasn't threaded properly and ended up breaking the bolt, so I had to experiment with parts for different sockets to make it work, I really didn't want to send it back, since it took a week to get delivered. So why did I mentioned it being shipped from LA, I'm not 100% sure if it was damaged from factory or during customs inspection or by shipping company handling it, all I know I had 5hrs of frustrations.

Other Thoughts: Core i7 4770K @ 4.1 GHz never goes above 60 Celsius, prime95 @ 70-75 degrees Celsius, can probably easily go to 4.7 GHz

3 out of 5 eggsGreat looking CPU Cooler but incompatible

Pros: Great looking CPU cooler. Works well with low profile memory cards. Would be great for theme builds.

Cons: The V8 GTS is too large and covers my PCI-E 1 slot. Unable to use with my graphics cards

Other Thoughts: The look of this CPU cooler is very aggressive and can be great in a theme build. My only issue is that the cooler may be too large for the motherboard you are using and may cover your PCI-E slots. Can cause conflicts with your memory cards (you must make sure you know your measuremens before you buy this CPU cooler. I only gave it 3 eggs because Cooler Master does not provide you with these details and do not provide you with a list of MOBOs that are most compatibile (when contacted, they informed me that the cooler may not work with some MOBOs due to it's size).

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Does everything it claims to do as far as cooling goes.

Cons: This thing is HUGE, I installed on an ASUS Z87 Sabertooth with the TUF armor and i had extemely hard time bolting the thing down with the tiny work space the mobo/cooler sizes alloted me.

Other Thoughts: haswell 1150 4770k i7, ASUS Z87 Saberttoth, Ultra 950 Rogue case. I had to modify the case and take the side panel fan off. The height of this cooler will only alow for a flat panel side fan compatiblity.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Fan!

Pros: So I already own the previous verion of a V8 CPU heat sync and fan. The new model is close to actually being 1 1/2 wider than the previous V8! The reason for this is because the new model has 2 fans instead of just 1. Once I got it installed I checked my CPU temp and when it's idle it's sitting at a 5c! In this model the other change is that you can see red lights shining out from inside the dual fans at pretty much every angle.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: My only gripe isn't about the fan. I just hated that I had to take out my mobo from my case just to put this fan on. But after that it was all smooth sailing :) After you see it you'll realized that it was worth the $100.

4 out of 5 eggsGlad I got it

Pros: Let me start by saying - I am very much a novice. I just built my first PC a little over a year ago with the help of a friend. The stock heat-sync was not doing the job anymore. Idle, temps were between 54 - 58 C, with the Case side Panel off. Saw this bad-boy and decided to take a chance. It is HUGE but it fit. After installation, with the case side panel ON, temp at Idle hovers at 38 - 40. Did about an hours worth of gaming (I don't overclock or anything crazy) and temp peaked at about 48 C. So far it is doing the job well on day one. Hope this will continue! Expensive but worth it! Product came with everything you need (including wrench and thermal paste) and I only needed my screw driver. Looks great in my PC as well. I highly recommend!

Cons: Size is an issue, and that makes Assembly an issue. I took an egg off because it required me to basically disassemble my PC and remove my Mobo to install. Because I'm a novice, it took a LONG time getting it all back together. Actual installation once the Mobo was out was not too bad. I have an AMD build and the screws into the MOBO were a pain due to limited space available for the wrench. I have Corsair Vengence RAM, and there was still room for them under the V8 overhang - however if you are installing this you want to make sure the RAM is installed first prior to installing the Heat Sync.

Other Thoughts: Compared to the stock (when it worked) the V8 is a bit louder at idle, but it is not annoying at all - still pretty quiet for the size. While I did some gaming, the V8 didn't sound like it had to do any extra work. My old stock heat sync sounded like a rocket towards the end. V8 is running quieter than my old stock - when it sounded like a rocket. This is a LARGE product so keep in mind cable management when installing - you may have to play with how the cables reach across the Mobo will be affected by this Colossus taking up space. The LED lights are pretty cool on it as well. I saw online where someone bought new fans for their V8 with different colored LEDs since the fans can be removed with some effort. Red works for my load out even if I do like other colors. So far really glad I made this purchase even with the expensive price-point.
