5 out of 5 eggsmegatron

Pros: when I saw this cpu cooler it was love @ first sight every review that I read was positive and the only concerns were it's size absolutely Beautiful........and I'm not even into red!

Cons: lets face it size does matter I have a full tower Silverstone TJ07........ should have called cooler master first although I still blame this on Cooler Master as I was like a deer caught in the head lights when I saw this fan I spent 2 day's mulling over building another computer around it or just hanging onto it so I could look at it but in the end I had to say so long my friend we could have been great together.

Other Thoughts: Though it was brief there will always B an empty spot in my heart;)

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Cooling

Pros: So this is a rather epic cooler.

I'm running a Rampage V Extreme x99 with an i7-5930 core. It uses the 2011 connections already built into the mobo without zero issues or vibration problems.

This cooler keeps the core hovering around 29-31 degrees Celsius

I love the lighting for it, and it's ultra quiet. I keep the current build next to me, even with the panels off the side I can't hear the fans. If you do have any issues with sound, might check your connections.

Size sits perfect over top of my Corsair LED RAM, making it a solid piece in the unit. However, I have a bigger case for my computer.

Other than that, there are very few cons to list.

Cons: Only con I can give this is the size. If you don't have a big enough case, you will run into issues. I would have knocked off an egg for the people who don't have a good enough case, but there has been little issue for me in this regard.

I suggest making sure you can keep an eye on your fan speed mine stays about 1100 rpm, and is ultra quiet.

Other Thoughts: I bought this on a whim, because I didn't have the amount for the liquid cooling I want to do just yet. This keeps things better than expected. I dig this style and it has just been way better than anticipated for a back up plan.

5 out of 5 eggsCooler Master V8 GTS

Pros: -Looks like an engine.
-Works and cools quiet (good fans).
-I used the Asus software to configure the fan speed, the red led are always very bright even if i lower the fan speed.
-Could mount in my Nzxt s340 without any trouble.
-Was good enough to cool down my i7-4770k 40c idle 76c load,
(HwMntr - AidaTest)

Cons: -Not so easy to install.
-Some vibrations, it seems unbalanced.
-Heavy.

Other Thoughts: I would like a Hybrid version of this cooler.

5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME Cooler

Pros: Looks amazing and works as well. It may not be the best cooler on the market but it's plenty for your average user. I game a lot and my CPU was averaging 75 Celsius with the stock cooler. With this cooler its averaging 30 Celsius. As I said there are better coolers on the market but none look nearly as good as the V8!

Cons: The only issue I had was installation. Don't get me wrong it took about 45 minutes which isn't the end of the world but I had to remove my motherboard from my case which is a little inconvenient. The benefits of this cooler outweigh that one negative handsdown.

Other Thoughts: This cooler is MASSIVE. I have a full size case and had to remove the fan from my side panel to get it to fit. Make sure that your case is large enough to fit this behemoth! Once it's in though it looks incredible and does a fantastic job cooling your CPU!

4 out of 5 eggsLoving this part

Pros: I absolutely love the design of this cooler. I went with a black.red theme for my build and this fit it so perfectly that I couldn't NOT buy it. It keeps my processor at a very manageable temperature and it's very quiet.

Cons: With how super bulky it is the only thing I had a problem with for this build was the installation. While it was very easy for the most part, with my motherboard being designed the way it is I was unable to fit the fourth screw onto the fan without taking one of the fans completely off. This really isn't the fault of the fan, moreso my motherboard, but I feel they could have made the screws in the fan a regular Phillips head instead of me having to get a set of Allen keys to take it apart.

Other Thoughts: This is a very bulky cpu cooler. If you have a large tower case, don't worry about it. Anything smaller you might want to do some measuring. I'm very glad I bought this cooler and I wouldn't have another one.

5 out of 5 eggsBEST AIR COOLER

Pros: Conversation starter. I have had this cooler over a year and was using on a pc that does not get too much use. I am using it on a A10-7850 ocd to 4.2 and it idles in the low 30s. It fits easily in my Fractal R4 case. It clears the heat spreaders on my G-Skill ram. Easy install with mobo in case. The red leds on the fan works well with other leds and my A88XM mobo.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: I was using an H60 and am surprised that this cooler is within a couple of degrees of the H60. Yes this beast may cost more than some liquid systems, but is well worth the price as far as looks and performance. If you can afford it and your case is wide enough GO for IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

4 out of 5 eggsToo Tall For NZXT S340 Case

Pros: Beautiful design, never got to see it run.

Cons: Very tall, you may need a full tower case.

Other Thoughts: The fan was very attractive and I am a bit disappointed that I was not able to utilize this CPU cooler. The CPU cooler was about a 1/4" too tall to clear the side panel in the NZXT S340 case. I returned it and will be running the stock CPU cooler until I come up with a "Plan B".

5 out of 5 eggsNo better looking air cooler on the market IMO

Pros: This thing looks soooooooo sweet!
Horizontal vapor chamber.
Triple heatsink.
2 - 140mm red LED fans
My G.Skill Trident X DDR3 2400MHz RAM fits nicely underneath.

Cons: It's kind of a pain to install. I was installing it on a new build so I installed my CPU and this cooler before dropping the mother board in the case. Installing it with the Mother board outside the case made it fairly simple but at the same time it was still a little tricky and took some patience to get it installed. I think it would be very difficult to install this cooler with your motherboard mounted in your case. You have to use a special little wrench provided with the cooler to secure the cooler in place and doing that inside a case I think would really suck to try and do.
It cools about as well as other coolers currently on the market which cost about 1/3 as much, but for me the extra money was worth it because this thing just looks so much better than all the other air coolers currently available.

Other Thoughts: It's a very large cooler, make sure your case can fit it before you buy it, unless of course you're ok with leaving your side panel off all the time.
I didn't install my RAM until the cooler was already in place and with the red heatspreader fins that come attached to the G.Skill Trident X DIMM's I wasn't able to get the DIMMs into my first 2 RAM slots. Thankfully the heatspreader fins on the Trident X are removable so after taking the heatspreader fins off the DIMM's fit in just fine and I was even able to then reattach the heatspreader fins once the DIMM's were fully seated in the RAM slots. So if you buy this cooler and have tall RAM like the Trident X I suggest installing your RAM first and then install the cooler.
