5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case Fan

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Very high quality fan for an affordable price.
Solid rubber mounts for anti-vibration.
Silent mode adapters.

Cons: Super loud without silent mode adapters.
Red LED's are barely visible.
Not much quieter than my old stock case fans.

Other Thoughts: I bought a couple of these to replace my stock case fans. I thought the LED's would help showcase the guts of my gaming rig. No luck there, these lights are super dim. Without the silent mode adapters, these fans are loud. My motherboard (MSI 970 Gaming) only allows me to set them at 50% as the lowest setting. So without the adapters, they spin at 1400 RPM's, minimum...Very loud. With the 1200 RPM adapter, they go down to about 800 RPM's. But that's still no quieter than my old stock fans. Not much of an improvement at all. Oh well, at least changing the fans gave me an excuse to clean out some dust. hehe

3 out of 5 eggsPushes air well, but too loud!

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Pushes air very well, temperatures have dropped 8C.

Cons: Has an insanely loud humming noise even with the silent adapters, I don't think it's normal as some people don't get this. Maybe a bad bearing? Not sure.

Other Thoughts: I would return it but I'd lose money on shipping and restocking so it isn't worth the hassle. It was only 16 bucks. I bought a sickleflow with it and I definitely like the sickleflow more.

5 out of 5 eggsQuiet

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: -Nice upgrade to the stock fans in the MasterCase chassis.
-Cables are sleeved from the factory.

Cons: -none for me

Other Thoughts: I have seen too many reviews at too many sites with people having issues with the bolt holes. These are not the usual coarse thread things on your old fans. And they are NOT SAE people! They are metric as they are not made in the USA. That is not a bad thing- it just means the are not 6/32 threads as I have seen too many people tell others to go to the hardware store to get. Seen too many posts from people that went to attach a fan grille and tried to use the self tapping bolts you use in plastic fans. You gotta go to to a hardware store. Take the fan with you. If the bolt doesn't thread all of the way in with your fingers it is not the right one.

The LEDs are not real bright on these. They are not dim either. But you won't see them from the space station either.

5 out of 5 eggsLove the fan!

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: -It is definitely a cooler master
-Easy to install

Cons: -None

Other Thoughts: I have 4 other cooler master fans (different model) and the LED lights arent as good. I use this one specifically for the CPU heatsink. Temperatures runs between 37-40 the entire time is on. It does a great job and the lights are bright enough.

4 out of 5 eggsAmazing fan! good quality!

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Moves a lot of air!
Mounting has rubber to isolate vibrations.
Includes two inline speed reducers (resistors) so you can adjust speed vs noise
No loud vibrations.

Cons: Air noise at top speed.

Other Thoughts: Yes
I replaced a brand new Thermaltake CL-F006-PL12BL-A 120mm Fan with this fan. The Thermaltake was not moving any air.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat fans for a great price!

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: - Amazingly quiet fans especially at only 50% speed 75% gets a little noisy but still manageable and 100% gets loud but not crazy loud with vibrating like most other fans at 100%
- Great directional force for a push/pull setup on a heatsink
- Nice lighting not too bright not too dim
- Very aggressive looking
- Nice rubber supports that definitely make it rattle free when cranking up to 100%
- RPM Limiters come included in case you don't have control over them in your bios or through a fan controller.( I didn't use these but it's nice to have)

Cons: - Fine thread screws instead of coarse thread not very problematic but I can see how a new builder would find them perplexing when trying to mount to a case or heatsink
- A little bit on the pricey side for fans but if you catch them on sale then they are a great buy for sure!

Other Thoughts: -I saw another user say that the fans would only mount one way and that if they were mounted in reverse that the fan would hit the case. There are two screws that you can take off of the rubber mounting bracket and reverse to hook the fan up the opposite way so if that is making you not want to buy it then no worries the fan does mount in both push and pull orientation just fine.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful fans

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: The red leds are not really bright so its not a big pow of color, design for radiators in mind these fans are perfect for my AIO Cooler Master Seidon 240M.

Cons: None that I've found

Other Thoughts: The fans can be loud but I found them to be just as loud as my old air cooler I had, The price is fair but if you get them on sale buy them without a second thought.

3 out of 5 eggsJefFlo 120 Somewhere between good and great (Depending on your needs)

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Moves lots of air
Not to bad of price
Quiet
Great for blowing air IN your case (NOT OUT)
4 pin PWM

Cons: The design that makes them good, also makes them bad. These fans in design seem to only (really) want to go one way. That is to blow air IN your case. If you look at the side pic of this fan, you'll notice that it only has the rubber shock absorber on one side. If you turn it around and try to screw a screw in, the rubber inside just turns with the screw.
Also with the design to help protect it and help it to run longer is another problem. With just the slightest bit of tightness the fans hit the casing, or case/tower itself (and this is blowing IN). So you have to ease off on each screw till it no longer hits, and by that time you're wondering how long it will take for the screws to unscrew themselves and the fan just come crashing down.

Other Thoughts: I have the Rosewill blackhawk-ultra full tower that comes with a side exhaust (behind cpu) and I was going to put this pwm fan in. (I specifically wanted a 4 pin pwm fan there.) It would not only help keep my cpu cooler and just blow air out but be a little warning when I heard it start spinning up fast that my cpu or pc was getting hotter than it should be. That's when I ran into the screw problem mentioned above. And boy I tried, because I really wanted it to go there, and didn't want to have to fool with an RMA. So trying to figure out somewhere to use the fan (all others where taken by another air company) I decided to put it in under my dvd drive (which my case came so nicely ready for). And that's when I noticed I had screw*d them in to tight, for the fan, I really didn't have them in that tight. But you can ease off till it stops making noise (fans hitting fan case or tower wasn't really sure).

To CoolerMaster: Put rubber padding on both sides so they can go in both directions and maybe make some toolless plastic screw type mounts like another animal related company is using and that would be great.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid fan

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: 3 speed settings, silent, performance, and turbo, medium bright led's, outperforms in silent mode the Lepa BOL fan by a small percentage.

Cons: Noise in performance and turbo mode

Other Thoughts: I might buy more of these as intake/exhaust fans given the performance of this blade design, my temps dropped significantly in 2000 and 1600rpm but unexpected was the solid performance in 1200rpm silent mode. Silent temps are down a degree compared with the Lepa BOL which is also silent and in turbo temps were down as much as 10-12 degrees below the Lepa but at a significant noise cost.

3 out of 5 eggsCooler Master Jetflo 120 Red

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Decided to grab myself one of these fans to match up with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO. Everything work fine two fixed extensions came in the box (read spec) beautiful Red LED something I really wanted, nice rubber padding etc.

Attached it to the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO without any problems and at the time it was an open case, obviously when your working on a machine. Started to hear this weird flicking noise coming from the case, the case wasn't opened for awhile and thought it was the Jetflo. Turns out one of the other fans were starting to fail, no problem I'll just purchase another Jetflo. After I removed it and turn it back on with all the other fans disconnected, the noise db level that was coming from the Cooler Master Jetflo 120 wasn't what I expect, when I had other fans that were much quieter.

Called for a RMA they told me the Shipping Label was more than the purchase and decided to give me back 75% of what I paid for it and said sure no problem. Going to receive a gift card by email in two business days, what more can you say.

Plus I get to keep the Cool Master Jetflo 120 Fan Really how much cooler can Newegg be honestly though.

Cons: The noise level was not expect considering its a PWM, other than that this fan still looks pretty cool and if you can put up with the extra noise, its a decent little fan to have.

Other Thoughts: None Truly!
