5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Excellent air flow, highly durable, and can be as quiet as you need them to be. If you have a motherboard or controller with 4 pin headers, these are some seriously good fans to have.

Cons: A little pricy, but not really a con if you're looking for quality first. They're worth it.

Can be loud if you don't control their speed, but that's every fan.

Other Thoughts: While they did cost me a bit, I wanted a set of fans I could count on to last me for years. These have an extremely long life expectancy and have the potential for precise control. If you use them till they die, they'll easily be worth the extra expense.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat fan

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Moves ALOT of air. Even at relatively low speeds, this fan moves considerably more air than my previous Corsair SP120. Upon opening the package and looking at the fan i said to myself, "This is a quality fan". It had some weight to it and the build quality all around is superb.

Cons: The biggest problem i had with it was trying to set it up to run 1350rpms constantly through ASUS AI Suite. I have 6 other Corsair SP120 fans in the case all running in RPM mode at 1350 with no problems and holding steady. This fan, though, would slow down or speed up periodically for about a second or so by 50-100rpm. This is really no problem but it was rather noticable and annoying as you could HEAR it doing this because this is in no way a QUIET fan. After getting tired of this, i plugged in the included 1200rpm adapter and have had no problems what so ever since.

Does get rather loud at >1500rpms.

Other Thoughts: Really wished i would have stacked my case with these fans rather than the Corsair SP120's i put in originally.

Took off an egg simply because it is an absurdly loud fan at full tilt.

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: These fans are awesome I use them with my cpu cooler, they move a lot of air and the lights look great.

Cons: Maybe a little to loud for my taste it's the only loud thing in my pc so might have to switch them

5 out of 5 eggssuper solid

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Significantly quieter than the stock H100i fans
Super durable - metal construction, metal threads
sleeved cabling - Decibel limiters are well labeled and of good length (~4in)

Cons: When they ramp up, they're LOUD. But usually only ramp up for <10 seconds. The limiters help a lot.

Other Thoughts: When I added them to my H100i, they made the cooler act kind of funky. flashing red and yellow LED, fans ramping up to 100% then coming to a complete stop every 10 or so seconds.
Changed the USB header and it was fixed.

4 out of 5 eggsblown away! *snicker*

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: that pun was so intended. these are some great fans. the PWM control is amazing and hopefully support is expanded to all motherboards. the LED lighting is nice and even. the fans themselves when run full throttle are LOUD. they also can be used to make a home-made hovercraft. you will never need to run these on full blast or anything close to it. mine are almost always running at 35-40% and at that speed the volume is acceptable. the rubber mounting system is AMAZING. every higher end fan needs to do something like this.

Cons: i wish the red LED was a bit brighter. i wish these fans were optimized for lower speed volume more than they are. i understand that isnt what they are marketed or designed for. if coolermaster released a 'quiet' version of these fans that gave you 60-70% of the lower RPM range but optimized the airflow noise more they would be incredible. its not that the bearings or any mechanical feature is making noise. they arent. its noide from the air moving over the blades.

1 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: The weight of the fans make them feel very solid. Rubber padding keeps vibrations to a minimum. Braided cables. LED is a true red, not off red or pink. They move air very well, even when mounted to a radiator.

Cons: Some fans are making an audible high pitched humming sound. One fan has started to make a rattling sound as if the bearing in the fan has come off balance, like a wobble. One fan has developed a clicking sound.

Other Thoughts: I ordered 10 of these fans back in September and installed all without issue. Everything was great until recently, when, for no apparent reason, as I have not touched my rig, not even to dust it, some of the fans have begun to exhibit odd issues. As I paid closer attention and inspected things over the past couple of weeks I have been able to pinpoint some of the issues.

Most notably one of the fans I was able to pinpoint seems to be "wobbling" on its base making an audible sound. This fan has been mounted and untouched for ~2 months.

Another fan that I can pinpoint by turning off fans selectively has begun to make a clicking sound at low RPM.

Definitely more have begun to make a loud high pitched hum. I can only locate one for sure. But the sound is throughout the case, so I am guessing there is more than one.

At this point I am going to have to unmount all radiators and test each fan individually to see which are failing and which are causing noise. At least 1 of the 10 has failed, the one with the wobble, and the clicking one will have to go.

Very disappointed with these fans to say the least, especially at $20 a fan.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsJust awesome

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Quiet for the volume of air they move. Can be used for CPU cooling if in a bind but probably better suited to case ventilation. Definitely cant go wrong with them for cooling your case.

Cons: Wish they had included a connector for molex at full speed rather than 1200 and 1600 rpm. But PWM ports on MB will do the job fine.

1 out of 5 eggsLook elsewhere...

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: None anymore. This an update to my already not so great review below.

Cons: Walked away from my PC for 30 mins, came back to it locked up and nothing would display on the screen. Looked inside and noticed this fan (mounted to my cpu cooler) was not spinning anymore! Managed to switch to my second bios and got the computer back up and running with another fan on the cpu cooler, but man that had me scared!

Other Thoughts: Combine this with the difficulty I had attaching this fan to my Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler (CM's "solution" is to use some elbow grease and force fitment. which bent a few fins on my heat sink) and I doubt I'll be buying any more cooler master products in the future...

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Keith W,

We apologize that you had trouble installing the Jetflo fan on the Hyper 212 EVO. The Jetflo fan will fit on the Hyper 212 EVO without much effort. Please contact us so that we can provide some assistance.

1 out of 5 eggsAnnoying....

This review is from: Cooler Master JetFlo 120 - POM Bearing 120mm Red LED High Performance Silent Fan for Computer Cases, CPU Coolers, and Radiators

Pros: Moves lots of air, looks good.

Cons: Cooler Master made this fan to accept a very specific machine screw. The Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler fan mounts require countersunk screw heads or else the screws prevent the fan from fully snapping onto the heat sink. Now I have to track down screws that will work properly.

Other Thoughts: Why would Cooler Master not include the proper hardware to make these fans fit on their own CPU cooler???

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Keith W,

The Jetflo fans will fit on the Hyper 212 EVO using the included screws. Please look at the guide linked below for help.

If you have any other questions please let us know.
