4 out of 5 eggsGreat cooling system for the price

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: - Maintenance Free
- Fits in almost all Mid to Full Towers
- Easy Install
- Great Price

Cons: - None as of right now

Other Thoughts: The cooling system is pretty good for the price, it's not super high-end but it gets the job done. Helps keep the CPU cool without having to run fans at high speeds.

5 out of 5 eggsPlease read the intructions !

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: It kept my AMD FX 8350 cooler. Definitely a good replacement to switch out a Stock HeatSink.

Cons: Of course you will have to do this but once in a while, clean your radiator of dust so that you do not have problems in the future.

Other Thoughts: The package came with the all the material you need including its own thermal paste. It includes the CPU set-up for both Intel and AMD and easy to install IF YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. This by far is way better than my stock Heat-Sink.

5 out of 5 eggsCooler Master Seidon Liquid Water Cooling

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: For the price it does the job. I was working on stock cooler witch did the job in my old case but upgraded to something a little smaller and my cpu was pushing temps 76 c + not doing much. watching videos or something stupid. game was not good i seen it peek at 88 c. With this cooler i brought my temp down to 35 c watching movies and gaming hits about 62 ish c.

Cons: This system barely fit into my case i have a micro case and the tubing was just a little to short for me to put the cooler where i wanted. It would of been nice to just increased the tube size by half an inch. other then that nothing does the job

Other Thoughts: When i started to change from my stock heat sink to this cooler i thought i wish i had this a few years ago (12 years ago) as the price is way better then building a system for it. spent 60$ on this compared to the 350+ for my old system.... don't get me wrong the 350+ was way better at cooling then this.

5 out of 5 eggs25 Degrees cooler!

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: So I used this for my AMD A10-5800k processor that's over clocked from 3.8Ghz to 4.5Ghz. I was using the stock factory air cooler that came with the processor.

With the factory cooler I was getting dangerously close to 70 Degrees C under heavy video editing/compiling and with the summer heat coming up I desperately needed a better cooling solution.

I bought this cooler for less than $50 and it had a rebate so it was even less. I wasn't sure if it would fit my case so I wanted to try something cheap incase it didn't fit I wasn't out much money.

Both my intake and exhaust fan housings are 90mm so this cooler wouldn't fit either of those. My only hope was if it would fit on the 120mm side intake fan on the removable case side.

It just barely fits and while I had to have a second person help with this tricky install (had to remove motherboard from case) it works wonderfully! Im now running almost 10 degrees cooler at idle and 25+ degrees cooler under heavy load during video editing/compiling.

Cons: Had to remove my motherboard from the case to install the special bracket. Not all users will have to do this, but I already had a complete system just needed extra cooling.

Other Thoughts: At first the fan was loud. I went into the BIOS settings for my motherboard and turned the fan down from 2k RPMs to 1K RPMs and now its no louder than the stock factory air cooled fan. Its not quite as cool as with the fans at full speed but its still 25 degrees cooler (under load) than the factory air cooler. Plus the fans should speed up automatically if things do get hot.

4 out of 5 eggsFantastic!

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: I needed a budget liquid cooler and this one does outstandingly. Price is comparable to many high end air coolers, takes less space than air coolers, and at idle on my desktop the cpu (AMD FX 8350) is between 12-20 degrees Celsius! At first I thought that had to be a mistake until I felt the back of the case was nothing but cold air blowing out!

Cons: No written instructions. All the instructions are just pictures. This is a bit annoying and at times confusing, so If you do plan on buying this watch an install video on youtube before you attempt to put into your computer.

Also don't over tighten the screws that mount the fan to the radiator or else the fan won't spin and therefore not cool down your processor the way it is built to do so.

1 out of 5 eggsWorst cooler ever

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: The pros of a liquid cooler, IF IT WORKS!!!

Cons: The cooler does not even do the job of keeping the CPU (i5 4690K) running stably at stock frequency, even after I added additional fan to make a push-and-pull configuration. CPU warms up to 50 C after boot up, BSOD in ten minutes. CPU temp goes up to 95 C after one minute in stress test, three minutes into BSOD. Completely not usable.

Other Thoughts: Switching back to Hyper 212 plus which keeps the CPU at 30 C in idle!!!

5 out of 5 eggsWell worth the $$$

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Cooler temps then Air cooling. I am running this on an overclocked FX-8520. It is stable and holding solid 28C on idle running at 4.5GHz. When CPU Load is at 100% temps only get to around 58-59C. The Air Cooler that this replaced would idle at around 35C. I found the instructions easy to understand, though they could be improved upon, see CONS

Cons: Instructions were easy to understand for me, however I can tell people with little to no experience installing hardware would have difficulty. Part of the issue is the parts themselves do not have the labeling that is in the instructions even though it is easy to tell what part they are talking about, honestly not worth taking an egg off.

Other Thoughts: So far it has worked beautifully. When I run Star Citizen I no longer get temp warnings for my CPU that was on air cooling. I would get this warning even at stock speeds. I did not use the paste that came with the cooler, but instead used the last of my Arctic Silver.
