5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: This has made my CPU so much cooler than I could've ever hoped for. I have overclocked an AMD fx 8350 to 5.0Ghz running idle at 11°c and running battlefield 4 at 33°c while on a 64 player match. I love this thing and would recommend it to anyone who wants a cooler CPU

Cons: Kind of a pain to install but worth it!

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: The hoses are kind of a pain when mounting it.

4 out of 5 eggsLike it

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Dropped the maximum OCCT temperature of a 4690K overclocked to 4.3 at 1.175 volts from 80c down to 65c (15c) compared to a 92mm Arctic 7 freezer pro.

I was expecting a loud fan and could barely here it even when the cpu was under full load.

Cons: The water block has wiggle room when installing as there are slots on the brackets and the posts can move also. The first time I installed the block did not seat correctly and the temperature shot up to 100c. I then reseated and saw the paste hadn't spread correctly, wiggled the block, wasn't sure, but got good cooling on the later tests.

The radiator was tough to find a good spot due to the size. I thought I would replace an existing 120mm case fan but the radiator would fit in my Rosewill Challenger S. It did fit in the top of the case where there is room for two 120mm fans, but just barely. The radiator seems wide and bulky on the sides.

Other Thoughts: The water block is much more substantial than I expected, as was the radiator also. I liked how it was less bulky than a air cooler. Time will tell how it holds up.

5 out of 5 eggsFabulous

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Works beautifully. Staying at 50C under a load. I switch the fan to one of my own low noise Led fans, next to no sound.

Cons: None so Far

Other Thoughts: I read other reviews and if you are getting 70C you may need to go back to tech school or you just aren't as tech savy as you put on to be. This does a great job especially for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsHmmmm..

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: It's compact, easy to install, and it's cheap. Probably the best water cooling set up under $60~ And it's extremely quiet under normal working conditions.

Cons: This is just me, the blue light on the water block looks kinda tacky.

Other Thoughts: Once you get this thing on a push pull setup it works wonders.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes its job

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Very quiet, never hear the pump and the fan is hardly noticable. Cools a bit better than a regular fan (dropped temps 15-20 degrees). The LED light on the pump indicates it's running but not too bright to be an eyesore.

Cons: Bracket doesn't fit over the pump block as well as it should, one corner is not all the way snug. The block is on the processor pretty well so not worried about it, but I see that when I look into the case and it's a shame.

Also wish this only used one fan port versus two. I had to remove a case fan in order for this to work. Will order a 3 pin to Molex to resolve that, but...

Other Thoughts: Install wasn't hard at all. The hoses are a little on the short side, so if you need to mount the radiator far beware.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Works as advertised. In relation to the stock cooler, temperatures under real-world, 100% load (3d rendering) dropped 25 degrees. Idle temps remained approximately the same; there was no difference worth mentioning.

Cons: None in respect to the cooler itself.

Other Thoughts: There was a slight issue with my motherboard being a little thinner than what might be considered standard (MSI Z97 Gaming 3), so the supplied clamp screws, that are only threaded part-way down, weren't creating good contact between the copper face of the water block and the face of the processor, as evidenced by the TIM's spread pattern. Bought some 1/4-inch, rubber o-rings, dropped one on each screw, re-tightened, issue resolved.

4 out of 5 eggsFirst Time Liquid Cooling

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Keeps CPU nice and cool just like the Hyper 212 EVO while fitting in a more narrow PC Case, Looks great, ease of installation, saves room in case, quiet when not under heavy load, good build quality

Cons: Loud when under very heavy loads, keeps things just as cool as a Hyper 212 EVO, or any equivalent aftermarket CPU cooler in its price range with a bit more noise under load with the water pump.

Other Thoughts: The only reason it loses one Egg, is due to the noise of the pump when under a VERY heavy load, normal everyday use it is pretty quiet. All in all, a great cooler for the money. I was a little nervous about liquid cooling at first, but I felt a lot more confident once I actually picked it up, and the build quality is great, just like everything else Cooler Master does!

3 out of 5 eggsCooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: It did slightly better than the very generic stock cooler.

Cons: Too many to list. Out of the box, it just felt very cheaply made. Instructions were zero help except for identifying the parts. And worst of all, after about 30 mins of prime 95..im sitting at 70 degrees. Not great but not too bad either, i honestly thought it would have donr a better job. at first, i thought i just needed to reseat, which i did several times. i found that the screws that held the the bracket on the water block wiggled..not tiny wiggling....BIG WIGGLING. they would not screw down any further..leaving a few mm of wiggle room to apply pressure to the water block. No chance this thing is getting good contact or pressure on the cpu
4790K @ 4.4GHz

Other Thoughts: Took a chance on a 4 egg item, guess i expected to much. will be replacing soon. Get something else if you want actual cooling. from what ive read the evo can do the same temps on air.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Cool

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Processor temperatures went from 70 degrees celsius to 50 degrees celsius under load.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have this setup in a push-pull fan system. When under load the fans spin up and it gets a little noisy, but I'm gaming so I don't even notice. When idling, the fans spin down and it is very quiet.
