2 out of 5 eggseasy to install...ish. too loud for my taste.

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V - Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: As described, an entirely inclusive unit that was easy to install

Cons: Too loud for my delicate ears, and once that was decided I had to remove the unit. Removing the unit meant pulling the motherboard all the way out of my case. So, less than ideal, but not so hard that I was willing to put up with the noise.

Manufacturer Response:

1 out of 5 eggsCooler Master Seidon 120V (DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT)

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V - Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: it was cheep

Cons: died after 2 years and fried my cpu basically now im getting 1/2 the FPS in games and USB ports malfunction but when I pulled up the temp my i7 4770k WAS TACKED AT 99C meaning it was thermal throttling to prevent it from dying and still fried it.... so if you want to put it on a 300.00 CPU and have it fail without warning and fry your stuff go for it......

Other Thoughts: N/A

2 out of 5 eggsBelieve the negative feedback

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V - Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Non

Cons: Loud
dies in 2 years

Other Thoughts: Its funny cause I came back to this product to see if there an updated version because I finally couldn't take how loud this cooling system was. As i was reading though the feed back some people was saying after 2 years the cooling system dies. I went and check when i brought my cool master seidon and it was back in 2014. I was like "well mine is still running fine"I kid you not but literally after a day of looking at those comment my computer started acting weird. After a process of elimination i open up my computer to find that the cooler master was hot to the touch i took it out and put in the fan that came with the CPU and all went back to normal. This cooling system will dies after 2 years and if it hasn't it will die soon.

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V - Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Cools decently

Cons: This is a classic example of "you get what you pay for"
-Immense Coil Whine/Pump Noise
-Loud
-Really Loud
-So much noise, I can't really hear myself think
-Hard tubing with very little flex

Other Thoughts: For just a few bucks more you can get a Corsair Hx0 that is quiet and works well, go do that, stay away from this thing.

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY!

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V - Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: -Works as advertised for a while

Cons: -This item is eol and they will NOT replace it
-Mine broke within the warranty period.
-Support refuses to refund

Other Thoughts: I opened a ticket with cooler master and they set up an rma quickly. I sent the unit back. A few weeks went by without hearing anything. I opened a ticket on their website and they would respond always a few days to over a week between my posts. They said they don't sell the Seidon 120V any more and cannot ship me another one but instead they can refund me the cost. That kinda sucks because I got a really good deal for it and I'm not sure I can get another one for the same cost. Anyways they asked for my email to send a paypal payment. Days go by and then weeks go by. Those a$$hats just closed the ticket. I reopened it and now they aren't responding to me. Do not buy this! If it breaks within the warranty period you will lose your money.

2 out of 5 eggsGOOD FOR A BIT

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V - Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: kept cool
quiet

Cons: im not sure but i think the pump is defective
thought it was how it was seated or my case cause the side panel doesnt fit on it when cooler is installed

Other Thoughts: after about a month the cpu kept overheating and then shutting off so i reseated it and it didnt work so i used my old cooler and that fix it. so i thought the case didnt support it but then i tried a while later to give one last shot and the same thing keeps happening so I dont know what to do with this broken cooler cause i think two screws that hold the rad in are missing and i cant return it cause its passed its return date so thats nice.

1 out of 5 eggsWas great while it lasted

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V - Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Ultra quiet, ultra cool.

Cons: Lasted a whopping months.

Other Thoughts: My 1 egg rating is NOT a reflection of Newegg it is a reflection of the poor customer service of Coolmaster . After 8 months of not, I repeat NOT, hard use this pump dies. It is covered under warrant however it took Coolmaster 2 months to inform me that no replacement would be issued because they were out of stock and this was only because I contacted them.
The only saving grace is I should be getting a refund. We'll see if that happens in the 5 to 7 day time frame I was told.

Manufacturer Response:

We do apologize for the trouble you are having. Please contact customer support at 888-624-5099 for
updates regarding your refund.

2 out of 5 eggsReturned it for a refund, thanks to Premier I didn't lose money

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V - Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: -Thin Radiator
-If blue is the color of your build, the led will be nice

Cons: -I had a noisy pump
-I had a hard time with the installation, the waterblock would not fit properly on the CPU so I had stupid high temps within seconds of turning my PC on. I had to cut out cardboard spacers to put under the backplate so the block would make appropriate contact with the CPU
-Once I managed to install it properly, I had 60C temps under full load on stock 3.5 GHz clocks on my i7 3770, but with my boosted 4,3GHz I shut down my stress test before it could go over 85C to not damage my cpu

Other Thoughts: Overall I'm disapointed. I bought this cooler to replace my old H80 who started to make weird noise recently and that I lost the serial number to RMA, but it was still quieter than this 120V. Maybe it was defective, but even if it was quiet, it wasn't powerfull enough to cool down my CPU. I'm currently using my old H80 while I shop for a new cooler.

2 out of 5 eggsWorks, but doesn't do the greatest job...

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V - Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: -No leakage
-Came with all parts neccessary for different mobos
-Instructions were clear enough

Cons: -Mounting solution for LGA1150 is fairly difficult.
-When torquing down all the screws, the pins designed to stay in place let loose and spin freely, so the mount isn't fitted securely.
-90C temp under almost full load on a 4790K.

Other Thoughts: -Paste is included, so there's that.
