4 out of 5 eggsDoes its job

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Very quiet, never hear the pump and the fan is hardly noticable. Cools a bit better than a regular fan (dropped temps 15-20 degrees). The LED light on the pump indicates it's running but not too bright to be an eyesore.

Cons: Bracket doesn't fit over the pump block as well as it should, one corner is not all the way snug. The block is on the processor pretty well so not worried about it, but I see that when I look into the case and it's a shame.

Also wish this only used one fan port versus two. I had to remove a case fan in order for this to work. Will order a 3 pin to Molex to resolve that, but...

Other Thoughts: Install wasn't hard at all. The hoses are a little on the short side, so if you need to mount the radiator far beware.

5 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Works as advertised. In relation to the stock cooler, temperatures under real-world, 100% load (3d rendering) dropped 25 degrees. Idle temps remained approximately the same; there was no difference worth mentioning.

Cons: None in respect to the cooler itself.

Other Thoughts: There was a slight issue with my motherboard being a little thinner than what might be considered standard (MSI Z97 Gaming 3), so the supplied clamp screws, that are only threaded part-way down, weren't creating good contact between the copper face of the water block and the face of the processor, as evidenced by the TIM's spread pattern. Bought some 1/4-inch, rubber o-rings, dropped one on each screw, re-tightened, issue resolved.

4 out of 5 eggsFirst Time Liquid Cooling

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Keeps CPU nice and cool just like the Hyper 212 EVO while fitting in a more narrow PC Case, Looks great, ease of installation, saves room in case, quiet when not under heavy load, good build quality

Cons: Loud when under very heavy loads, keeps things just as cool as a Hyper 212 EVO, or any equivalent aftermarket CPU cooler in its price range with a bit more noise under load with the water pump.

Other Thoughts: The only reason it loses one Egg, is due to the noise of the pump when under a VERY heavy load, normal everyday use it is pretty quiet. All in all, a great cooler for the money. I was a little nervous about liquid cooling at first, but I felt a lot more confident once I actually picked it up, and the build quality is great, just like everything else Cooler Master does!

3 out of 5 eggsCooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: It did slightly better than the very generic stock cooler.

Cons: Too many to list. Out of the box, it just felt very cheaply made. Instructions were zero help except for identifying the parts. And worst of all, after about 30 mins of prime 95..im sitting at 70 degrees. Not great but not too bad either, i honestly thought it would have donr a better job. at first, i thought i just needed to reseat, which i did several times. i found that the screws that held the the bracket on the water block wiggled..not tiny wiggling....BIG WIGGLING. they would not screw down any further..leaving a few mm of wiggle room to apply pressure to the water block. No chance this thing is getting good contact or pressure on the cpu
4790K @ 4.4GHz

Other Thoughts: Took a chance on a 4 egg item, guess i expected to much. will be replacing soon. Get something else if you want actual cooling. from what ive read the evo can do the same temps on air.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Cool

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Processor temperatures went from 70 degrees celsius to 50 degrees celsius under load.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have this setup in a push-pull fan system. When under load the fans spin up and it gets a little noisy, but I'm gaming so I don't even notice. When idling, the fans spin down and it is very quiet.

5 out of 5 eggsStill working great

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: I never get up to 70C when gaming or video editing. I'm at 32C idle. I had it since 2013

Cons: No flashy LED lights, or clear tube with neon juice.

5 out of 5 eggsNice and Cool

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: This cooler is quiet, and works well. I switched to this from a stock AMD fan and with that, I could not play Dragon Age Inquisition on ultra settings with my 290x or the computer would overheat due to the CPU. My FX-8350 used to idle at about 50 C now its down to 37 C. And my computer doesn't sound like a jet engine anymore. All together it was a simple install and I am already loving it. Way to go.

Cons: The radiator was slightly too large to mount directly on my case, but thats not really a problem with the radiator so much as my case. I just stuck a second fan on and it fit beautifully.

Other Thoughts: I definitely reccommend this to anyone that is having problems with overheating. It makes a huge difference.

5 out of 5 eggslove it

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: This thing works great. If you hook this thing up right it is awesomeawesome keep my CPU super cool I never really see the CPU in the 40s very often. Best working cool for the price. Can't beat it

Cons: Change out the fan. It is loud, any 120 fan will work well

4 out of 5 eggsvery effictive

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Very effective cooler
Easy installation
Quiet after replacing the fan

Cons: Noisy fan included

Other Thoughts: Happy I bought this, but disappointed at the noise from the included fan, which is why I subtracted a star. Luckily I had some Rosewill fans with 3 pin connectors. Replaced the included fan with the Rosewill and it made a big difference.
I bought this to reduce noise, and it accomplished this with the Roseill fan. I have not run any load yet, but with light PC usage my temps have dropped 15 degrees.
The cutout in the back of my case was too small for me to get to backing plate for the cooler, so I had to remove my motherboard to do the installation, but very easy installation. I have built a few PC's in the past, so not a novice, but I wouldn't say I am an experienced builder either.

4 out of 5 eggsPerfect cooling

This review is from: Cooler Master Seidon 120V – Compact All-In-One CPU Liquid Water Cooling System with 120mm Radiator and Fan

Pros: Does a great job of cooling my AMD x6 1099T . Quiet and seems quite reliable. My cooling fan/heatsink I replaced would really rev up when running windows in a VM and playing Warzone2100 in another window on Linux Mint 17.1 . After the install my temps did not go above 46C with everything running. I would recommend this for anyone looking to get better cooling. I do not overclock.

Cons: No cons at this point.

Other Thoughts: The fan and radiator are 120mm in size. This means you will probably be replacing your case since most cases have a 80mm fan setup in the back of them. Keep in mind that the dark screws and nuts are for the fan and radiator to attach to the case. The steel colored ones are for the heatsink on the processor. Others have commented about installation and performance not working. I didnt find any problem with installation and everything runs pretty quiet. I did switch my case to an older one from Antec and cut out the back to fit the radiator and fan for mounting. I will probably buy a new case though with a 120mm fan size and move into that at a later date.
