SuperTake Heatsink
- Pros: Have had this Heatsink Paired with a Starforce Fan for a number of years now. Keeps CPU cool very well, even underload.
- Cons: Too bad Newegg doesn't keep this and the Starforce Fans in stock. Good combo and looks real sharp too.
- Other Thoughts: Thermaltake makes the best overall cooling products and make lots of cool looking fans which most of the time aren't here on Newegg and thats the con. Newegg should start a Modders Catagory where unique products like The Starforce, UFO fans and other manufacturers products could be, things like Window Kits, Lights, all the good BLING stuff. Newegg doesn't really have a good custom Mod things here. Ther are some really cool Custom stuff out there. Modding is fun and you can get creative doing so. Modder's Heaven Lets go....
top quality heatsink
- Pros: pure copper, looks amazing, takes 80mm and 90mm fans
- Cons: absolutely none
- Other Thoughts: this is my favorite heatsink, ive been using it on an old athlon xp 3200+ and im going to move it over to my new athlon x2 am2 machine, i LOVE IT!
great cpu cooler
- Pros: I have my cpu overclocked @ 2.6 ghz and at idle 29'C at load 35'C. So it's a great cpu heatsink. I also have a 92mm blue led fan which looks very nice. Not to mention I have a antec 900 case which promotes very good air flow. I also lapped the heatsink which looks very nice. I can say that it wasn't concaved just could've had a smoother finish.
- Cons: Instructions could've been better and I had to bend the 939 heatsink bar to get a little better fit on top of the cpu for better contact.
- Other Thoughts: Overall I'm very pleased with the performance of the heatsink. I might swap it for the looks and performance of the zalman 9500. I don't think it'll cool the cpu much more, but then my other computer can have this heatsink which is alot better.
