Too big
- Pros: Huge, big fan, looks like a ok cooler.
- Cons: It's so huge that it won't fit in my case. I got this for my old size ATX case, with an Intel 915PCY motherboard with a P4/3.4GHz. It interferes with a large heatsink on on the motherboard chipset that's near the processor on one side and the power supply on the other side.
- Other Thoughts: This looks like a good cooler, and is much better than the one that comes with the P4, but make sure you have TONS of space in your case before using this.
I love this thing!
- Pros: Awesome cooling, awesome look, easy do disassemble and clean...4 years going STRONG. a good wooshy sound too
- Cons: None whatsover
- Other Thoughts: Cooling an OC'd E6300 for the last 4 years... lovin it!
Good enough
- Pros: Dropped idle/load temps by approx. 20c from the stock HSF on my PhenomII X3 720 at stock speeds. Overclocking with stock HSF was not too appealing with idle temps around 55c and full load around 62c. Running 35-42c with this HSF gives some headroom for overclocking.
- Cons: None for me.
- Other Thoughts: As some have mentioned, it can be potentially difficult to install. I took someones advice and installed a couple washers between the back plate and the mounting brackets. This raised the bracket enough that virtually no pressure was needed to start the screws on the heatsink.
