1 out of 5 eggslasts about a year

Pros: cheap?

Cons: mounting and oh wait they start to fail miserably and make horrid noises just over a year inside your system.

Other Thoughts: spend the money and get higher rated case fans

5 out of 5 eggsQuieter Than I thought

Pros: Cheap
Quiet
Pushes advertised air

Cons: I am not a fan of the screw mounts. On one case I tried it on, the end of the bolt slipped the case mount because it was so small. It's also so small you can't really hold the hex nut very well with your fingers.

Other Thoughts: For the price my expectations weren't too high, but this fan pushed more air and was quieter than I thought it was going to be. I hate the mounting bolts, but I have access to other mounting screws.

5 out of 5 eggsvery good

Pros: good air circulation, good construction, works with 24vdc.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: used this to mount on top of a motor driver board to keep some mosfets cool. It works perfectly, so I bought another.

4 out of 5 eggsBlows quietly!

Pros: Pretty colors. Doesn't make that much noise for an 80mm fan. Great price!

Cons: No airflow indication arrows. Only comes with molex connector.

Other Thoughts: Its a fan. It blows air. My case has two of these as intake fans.

5 out of 5 eggs4 degrees

Pros: Quiet, sleek, no annoying LEDs

Cons: Need 12V so I can't use them directly to make my own cooling pad for laptops with USB power. The air moved is not like a ceiling fan.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to make my own cooling pad with larger fans. I ordered two and found out they are still too thick to make a comfortable USB powered pad. So I put them outside my Slimline PC that has many vent holes. With one on, it is 4 degrees cooler if you aim the CPU heat sink or anywhere. It is 4 degrees with full load, half load or no load. With two fans on, it is about 6 to 7+ degrees lower. Can't believe the Slimline run Idle at 50+ degrees, but it is 40/41 degrees now anyway.

Even PC's IC was designed for 85 degrees, cooler is better.

1 out of 5 eggs2X DOA

Pros: Brought 2 of these from newegg recently because the price sounded right. Its just a fan its supposed to blow air right?

Cons: Tried to connect both units to psu and power up pc. PSU would not power up. Checked all connections and tried again still no power. Switched the fans and plugged them into second cable on my psu and still psu would not power up. Removed both fans and psu started right up. Out a few bucks for two fans which will have to be replaced.

Other Thoughts: I figured one of the fans was bad so I tried each fan by it self. Still no power with either fan connected. Just bad luck I guess. Besides the fans the rest of order rocks thanks Newegg.
