5 out of 5 eggsNeeds another egg.

Pros: - I have used this fan for almost 7 years. The fan assembly died today.
- Overclocked Phenom Ii 955 is not a challenge.
- Would rather replace the fan assembly before replacing the unit

Cons: Not really a complaint, but she's a little wide the hips

Other Thoughts: im looking for the fan for this wonder if its available.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Product!

Pros: - Was frightened when I first saw the package, thinking "This will NOT fit in my case!". But I was wrong. Fit perfectly!
- Very quiet operation
- Maintains CPU temperature perfectly!
- Despite its odd shape, when compared to other coolers, it is actually EASIER to install than the standard "heatsink with fan on top" stock cooler that came with my CPU.

Cons: - Not a con, per se, but if your case has a side panel fan, depending on positioning, you might not be able to use this since it is big enough to go all the way to the side of your case.
- None so far

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome! Buy It!

Pros: Lifetime of use! Can't wear this thing out! Installed in 2007 and still going strong! Love the dial so I can turn the fan up or down. Not noisy or loud even at full speed! Awesome CFM's! Don't think twice - buy it!!

Cons: None for me. Some mention the size, and I was forewarned. My case is open platform - all components are displayed open in-air, "TechStation" style. Overhead room is not an issue for me. In fact, I prefer the chrome and light - it's the presence that first catches the eye when you look at my open-air rig.

Other Thoughts: I truly have a on-of-a-kind PC, and this is the centerpiece!

I wish they'd make this product for newer sockets!! I want to upgrade but can't take this with me to the next version...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat FAN!!!!

Pros: I purchased this fan back in 2008 for my husbands first real gaming computer. Since then I have changed out MB twice to upgrade him and it installed and re-installed with no problems. The LED light is still going strong and his cooling temps are great. He plays Skyrim heavily modded for hours at a time with never a problem.

Cons: Big - it does take up alot of space but if you want something that really cools well then you want something big!!

Other Thoughts: Almost 7 years now and still going strong I think that in itself speaks for this fan.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes what its supposed too

Pros: This thing works great but man it takes up space. I have used several of these in friend builds due to there love of its looks. It keeps dust to a minimum and runs very quiet.

Cons: HUGE, Pain to mount- REALLY REALLY BIG PAIN!

Other Thoughts: if you want a cool looking piece this is it, be patient on the install.

2 out of 5 eggsNot worth the money

Pros: Quite.
Looks cool.
Keeps CPU at a nice temp relatively speaking

Cons: VERY bulky
Hard to install.
Mounting is made of plastic and after removing twice was bent to the point that it couldn't be used.

Other Thoughts: I remove my CPU cooler once a year to re apply thermal grease and reseat the cooler. This cooler is REALLY hard to do that on. I would say you could mount it with the MOBO out of the case, but if you have a micro atx or atx board it will block 3 plus screws.

What i mean when i say the instalation is difficult, i mean that this is universal, but it is sort of "open ended" There is no specific setting for your cpu (mine was lga 1156) The four corners are not mounted with screws, but little plastic expansion "bolts" as they called it. You push on the top of them and it pushes a piece of plastic into the split "bolt" forcing it to expand and stay in place. It is VERY flimsy after removing it after the first year of use. After removing it a second time another year later, it was rendered useless. I tried to salvage it but eventually it fell off.

I would not suggest this, for the price i payed for it years ago you can get a much nicer liquid cooling unit.

3 out of 5 eggsColor me unimpressed.

Pros: Cool looking. Functional. Unique. Easy to install on an AMD.

Cons: Slides after instalation. Blue light died after less than a year. Doesn't cool as well as other coolers in the same price range.

Other Thoughts: I"m trying to keep my build as much Thermaltake as possible. If you're interested in the looks, it's fine. If you want optimal cooling, keep looking.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome Heat Sync

Pros: I have had this fan now for almost two years and never had one issue with heat from my processors. It looks really cool and works better than most stock or OEM parts that I have used in the past.

Cons: The con that this product has is that is huge, if you are trying to install this in a mid or mini tower I can almost promise that you will run into problems.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat cooler

Pros: This thing is so quiet you dont know its running. it kept my fx60 cool after overclocked and maxed out power to it.

Cons: It is very big. i had to move the side fan on my xclio tower to the outside because it kept pushing on the cpu cooler and making noises.

Other Thoughts: if you have a large full tower, get this unit
